Came the day after we called and on time. Mark finished removing our old door opener and installing the new one in less than 2 hours. The opener is much nicer and quieter than our old screw drive. Very satisfied!!

We had a good experience with Aladdin Doors. Great communication via their email system, confirming appointment times and letting us know the tech was on his way. We wanted a new weatherstrip along the bottom of our garage door and needed a new spring as well, our old one was broken. The new spring doesnt look as heavy-duty as the old one, but it comes with a warranty on parts and labor. Perhaps they just dont make things like they used to. According to their website its rated for 10,000 cycles. That may be enough to get us to our next garage door which is already 25 years old. Estimates are verbal (over the phone and/or by the tech) so make sure you have a correct understanding and write them down. Although we were receiving two services (weatherstrip and spring), there was only one service charge in addition to the parts charges, which was good. Kris, our tech, was friendly and knowledgeable.

We can strongly recommend Mark and Aladdin Doors of Kane County. We are a townhome community with a large number of wood carriage style garage doors. The bottom panels were in various stages of disrepair and we talked with many garage door companies, carpenters and painters all who indicated the only solution was to replace the entire door. Mark did a great job on extremely short notice for us. We ended up scheduling him to come back to do some additional work for us since he was able to get our emergency taken care of the same day which was a big help. We had a spring replaced several years ago and the company that put it in did a spring that was smaller than specified for our door. Fast forward I noticed a crinkle in one of the door panels and called Mark from Aladdin doors of Kane County to look at it. Turns out that the smaller spring caused the door panel to buckle. Mark installed the proper spring that also has a lifetime warranty and installed a new garage door. Since then we havent had any issues with our door and have been very happy with everything Mark did for us. We have recommended him to all our friends and family.
