Went in today for an estimate on a remote start. Very competitive pricing. Saw another shop before visiting here. The other shop quoted higher for a lower quality one way starter. Got a two way(lets you know the car has started via the remote) at a lower price at Gorilla. Wasnt planning on doing it today but George said he had an opening. He let me keep my groceries in his fridge since I hadnt made it home yet. George said it would be a 2 hour job. It was more like a little over an hour. Starter works great. No problems. Will be visiting again soon for another project. Thanks guys!

I was looking for a place to get a remote start installed on a 5 speed , I read the reviews on Gorilla Sound before going there and was a bit hesitant but thought I would give them a shot. I was very happy that I did. They did an awesome job , very professional friendly service. They were very patient with teaching me how to remote start the car as with a manual transmission there I actually a sequence you need to follow for it to work. if I could give them more stars I would , and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a remote start installed .

Had to get a new radio in. He found the best fit for me, took off the diagnosis bill and added discount to my final total. In and out with a new radio within an hour. Sweet people definitely!

They are very sloppy with there work and customers.they dont guarantee the work, I purchased sounds I had problems from the start my radio would stop playing and I had to return on five occasions with the first radio then I was told the radio was no good I then purchased a second radio to still have the same problem so I took it to another shop to find out that it was the Amp...Dont waste your money or time @

I got a JL w3 installed with wires, bass knob and amp. I didnt adjust anything, 5 blocks down the subwoofer was smoking! You would think that a professional shop would hook me up for success but instead failed miserably. Went back and I guess its my fault. All in all he was knowledgeable and ran wires perfectly. But in the end I felt cheated. Hope they see this and step their game up.

George and his crew were awesome! They installed a killer stereo system in my 1999 corvette. I absolutely love it! I went to a couple other places and George saved me about $1200 to $1500. I highly recommend these guys!!

Great fast service. Found them through Groupon to get a remote starter. They explained the pricing over the phone and in person. Because I have a push to start button they explained that there would be an additional charge plus it would take longer to do. I gave my car at 9am and received it back at 3pm. At the end they even explained all the features of the remote starter which I was not expecting.

Fantastic experience getting a remote starter installed. Beat price of all competitors in the Fox Valley area. George worked to squeeze me in with an appointment on a busy Saturday. Explained in detail the various remote engine starters available and the different options available with each system. Quoted me a price over the phone that to the penny was what I was charged after the system was installed. No hard sell!!!!Time to install was precisely as promised. George was very polite every step of the way with this transaction, took time after install to explain in detail how to operate the remote and demonstrated how to use it on a freezing cold Saturday afternoon. Change pricing the next day; my experience $35 now $45 today.5. Ignorantly telling me not to break the radio for when I want to remove the stereo myself. Well no dip... Because it takes rocket science.Owning European vehicles require specialized tools and a real special employee. So Gorilla will charge you $15 to remove your stereo head unit for you, AS LONG AS, you pay them $35 up front for items you may not even know will work for your vehicle. BUT! you can return for store credit ... woo whoooscience.If you want to leave their store happy, turn around before you even open the door.

Bad place to do business. The owner as well as the workers are prejudice and rude. The business they do with Groupon is a rip-off because when you get there you’re paying an additional $200 plus more to get additional parts. I only gave one star due to not being able to pick No stars. The service is below average. They took over 6 hours to install a remote starter to my 2019 vehicle. Bad service and bad attitudes. No professionalism AT ALL!!!!

Literally called for a quote, the guy who answered asked right away asked if it was for Groupon. I said yes, he took a deep breath and just got super rude. I asked about needing additional services that may come with the Groupon. I hung up. If bad over the phone, can only imagine how they handle customer issues.

Bro I literally got ripped off a wiring harness for an aftermarket stereo, I paid 84$ when I could’ve got the same exact brand and model from there website for 39.99$.just looking out, don’t shop there it’s a waist of money you can get the same thing for cheaper online or else where thank me later

I literally came 2 days ago and get a price quote 1 12 M6 sub with box amp and wire kit sounded to good when he said $800 out the door installed came back today gave me a price twice the price and denied everything he had said 2 days ago. Just walked out waste of my time.

2nd experience here - not good. Had a problem after installation and technician said Not us, dont know what to tell you., and walked away.

After driving an hour to get here before theyd installed the remote start I was informed I had to get another copy of my key made. My wife has a brand new car without a scratch on it by the time we left here after they drove my car and went to get a new key made we noticed a scratch and huge dent in our brand new bumper. All I did was ask them if they did it they immediately got pissed refused to take my money and kick me out of their store. Stay away from these con artists they dont know what the hell theyre doing

Had remote start installed on Hyundai Tuscon. Starter didnt work correctly. Took it back to have repaired and still the same problem. Id look for a reputable remote installation shop instead of falling for the Gorilla Sound Groupon. Pretty big headache.

I went get a head unit and backup camera and flip down tv put in ....my own equipment quoted a price came back they act like he did not remember me!! I was just there 2 days before!!! $65 for the head unit & $300 for the camera and flip down ...Go to get it done $75 for headunit $250 for the flip down and $200 for the camera ...now I said ok cause money aint the problem if its done right .... Pulls my car in start put the headunit in then tell me he cant the tv in cause of the rear sunroof now i am looking at 500 to 700 to install... I said never mine I will do it my self ...they tried to over charge me 2 times . I ended up going on newyork and summer to sound quest $210 for flip down and camera ....They sell the same stuff as everyone else and there skills are no better so why so much money....Stay away bad business and there liers

STAY AWAY !!!! Bait and switch.I bought a full $1200 alpine system .I was given $8.99 spl sp.1 tweeters instead of alpine . Alpine cost 79.99 EACH . No resoultion was made . I had to install proper tweeters myself . Go at your own risk !!!!!!!!! Sung and sergio are less than honest.Always take a flashlight after install and inspect speakers to see they are what you paid for.Greg
