There sure is! I was shocked my Wife had to pay $31.00 dollars to have your service dept replace a small dome light! Its, for this reason, I will never and I mean never will I have your dealership do any repair work on any vehicle I own. My wife was not informed beforehand there would be such a large charge to replace a small dome light. Im sure this comment will not make any difference about your overcharging to do a simple five-minute job which could have been a small charge for a bulb (?) and installed as a courtesy! Oh well, lesson learned!

Rude and unprofessional. We were looking for a new car and shopping around. As a first time new car buyer we assumed that dealerships will have similar prices and incentives coming from the manufacturer. In May of 2021, new 2022 models have begun coming out, we started to see good prices on some 2020 models at several other dealerships out of state. We included the shipping cost into our total price and still mostly preferred to stay in state, if overall price was in the same ballpark.My husband sent an online inquiry about inventory to Sunset and in the meantime we even went to test drive a car there that we had seen online. We were ready to buy then and told them what we were willing to pay. We left our name and phone number and told them to call us if they could come in just OVER the other offer: that it would save us the hassle and wed be happy to do business and to please call us if no other buyers came, and they were willing.The next day we received a text from one of their salespeople. Below is a direct copy and paste of that unprofessional exchange.To summarize: Sunset did not keep any of our details. This salesperson was not even willing to hear our offer. He didnt insinuate but said clearly that they do NOT give away cars, that he does not like to work for free.This is why people do not trust car dealerships. This car has been on their lot for 2 years and we unable to even get an explanation on price or a willingness to explain a cost breakdown. For 35k.?! Feels like we were treated like we were trying to steal something. No one wants to haggle, but that is a lot of money. Asking them to come in OVER another deal we were offered is NOT insulting!

Dean was extremely helpful and very friendly. Spent my morning, people watching and noticed that the front counter people were helpful and friendly no matter the issues that arose. You can tell the people who truly love what they do as they make everyone feel as they are the most important person in the building and this happened over and over. When the employees care about the customers in this manner you know you have found a premium service. Awesome place and I will be coming back

It was an average visit. I was incredibly disappointed that the vehicle wasnt cleaned since that is part of the maintenance plan. The last time we brought our vehicle in we were charged for a service we pay for in that plan and we are now waiting on a reimbursement check. It is really frustrating to be paying for services we are not getting. One very positive note was having a representative call to help me schedule this appointment. I really appreciated it and she was very nice. However, the manager was supposed to call me to discuss the charge mentioned above and never did. I cant say the service is great, but average or a little below.

Totally disappointed, I was suppose to test drive the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander which I scheduled a week earlier thru the sales manager via email. But when day comes for the test drive, they dont have the car anymore cause its already sold out. I was so disappointed cause they didnt even email me about canceling the test drive. I just go there for nothing. And the agent who entertain us seem like hes not interested on selling this car. No explaination, No apology, No nothing...

Sunset is great & the best,where should I start credit was poor & I really didn’t believe sales Rob when he said we really could help you , because if you think about it all car dealerships say that. Got denied for a 2015 Kia Optima but then got approved for a 2019 Kia Optima . I was feeling discouraged once I was denied but they helped me change my way of thinking and went above & beyond for me & im over joyed with my new car for me and my daughter the greatest gift . I was charged $337 for a simple oil change and wipers. I have never had to pay more that $45 for an oil change at any dealership in my life. I am a single mother that was rent and grocery money for my son and I. No one told me the cost until I had to pay or I would have never came. I will never be coming back.

I went to this shop for a water pump and timing belt replacement which originally went well good customer service their worst case scenario price was 300 dollars cheaper than what i paid but the problem is someone cut the cv axle boot which is only inches away from the work they preformed this was either to have me come back for more services or to hurt mm or my family but from underneath you can tell they cleanly cut the boot with a knife or something sharp or my family i contacted them about replacing it and they are denying they did it but i was under looking at the leaking water pump the day before i brought it in which is just a little above the cv boot and there was no cracks leaks or any damage when i brought it to them

I was impressed with the service and speed of how quickly my safety recall was completed. However, my radio was having issues immediately after the repair. It was working just fine before the needed repair. If I didn’t leave with another problem, I would’ve given a five star rating. Now I have to schedule another appointment at Car Toys.

Sent in a request for a repair estimate through the website, but never received a reply. After a week I called the service department. I was informed that no one was available to speak with me, but they would call me back. Another week went by with no call. I finally called Younker Mitsubishi in Renton and had an estimate and appointment scheduled in less than 20 minutes.

My worst experience dealing with a shop, thus far. Jennifer at the front desk had the easiest part of the job and took a full business week to complete simple paper work. Went ahead and took my car apart without my approval and when I finally got my car back it wasnt driving right. Loud noises and shifting strange, even the service engine soon light came on. Mind you this is within 15 minutes of driving it out of the dealership. I get home and pop the hood and see that a hose isnt even attached and was just dangling about. Complete negligence all around. Needless to say I wont be coming back. Im sure all theyre good for is selling Kias

We bought our 2019 car used from another dealer. Yhe drivers side air vent (both) are stuck in the closed position....wont budge. Took our car to Sunset and they explained our vents were stuck shut because someone sprayed something sticky in them. Really? This way they dont get covered under warranty. Taking it back to the dealer where we bought it and they will take care of it. As well they never even looked at our car until we were an hour and twenty minutes past our appointment time. The tech spent about 30 seconds looking at the car and determined they couldnt fix it under warranty.

Two words: Absolutely Awful. My car was there for a WHOLE MONTH and had to be returned to me by a tower in worse condition than it was before. I brought my car to their service department initially because of a running issue, I told them everything I had done on the car and everything that I suspected and wanted them to check. I had an appointment and assumed that they would this Mitsubishi location would be knowledgeable at servicing my Mitsubishi. They would never call me to give me updates on my car, the only way I was able to get ahold of them was if I managed to get through their line without being told to leave a message. After a week I was told that my car was done, after paying $550.00 I got in my car and it was in the exact same condition as before and so I left it there once again. They did not once look into what I told them to look into on my car, and instead ran other tests, did not once give me an estimate on how much any of this would cost, did not communicate with me, and told me that old cars will have problems, its a guessing game. My car is from the 2000s. Having a job and school, being without a car is very tough. After a total of three and a half weeks I told them I was fed up and just wanted to take my car somewhere else, an hour into my drive to retrieve my car early in the morning, they called and told me that my car was not fully put together even though they said it would be, the day before. My car was returned to me missing on two cylinders instead of one, like it was when I brought it to Mitsubishi. I took my car down to a local shop and he solved it in a day. It ended up being what I thought it was and what I had told the dealership to take a look at, which they never did. He told me to never take my car back to Sunset Mitsubishi again, as they mixed up a bunch of the bolts, broke a couple of seals, and mixed up a bunch of spark plug wires. He got my car back to me in three days and it has run perfectly since.

First time buyer a new car and it was the best experience I had. Make sure you ask for Damon he was willing to help me out and get the right deal for me. Went to several other dealers and most didnt want to spend time talking to me. I went in around closing time and Damon was still willing to show me cars and work with me since Im very picky. The service manager Justin was a rude and a unprofessional joke of a man. We waited an hour and a half for a $300 key to be made. When I went to ask how much longer it would be since I get up around 2 am and it was almost 4 pm and I was tired. His response was I didnt have an appointment?? An appointment for a key to be made??? Then he said they have to program the key and thats part of the hold up. I told him can download a three hour movie in about 15 minutes and thats a poor excuse. And when they finally got the key done moments later while I was standing there. All he would do was stair at me as though he wanted to punch me for questioning hes logic. I just wish I could give less then one star for this service department. Absolutely the worst service department and manager Ive ever had the misfortune of dealing with period. Go to Yonkers in Renton faster and more professional.

On Thursday the 19th my car (2018 Mitsubishi Mirage) randomly shut off and would not turn over, had to call my insurance to come out and tow it to the dealership. Was told I would have to pay a standard fee to look over to remedy the situation. Jump to Friday the 20th turns out that the battery is drained and just needed a charge.Jump to Monday the 23rd when my final paycheck comes in, I am charged 170ish dollars for a standard fee which wipes me out. I leave a poor review survey and I get a call later on as to inquire as to why I left a subpar review. I inform the person of the circumstances I am currently in and the most that the person can offer is a 50 dollar credit to my next service.I have no income and I do not know when I’ll receive any kind of financial assistance. A 50 dollar credit for my next service will not feed me, will not make my car payment, will not make my car insurance payment, will not pay my phone bill.Sunset has 3 big dealerships in the local area (within 30 miles of each other) and the most you can come up with is a 50 dollar credit. It is craven how little you think you can bribe me for.

This place is the best place to buy car. Jay Gutka gave us the best customer service , he’s not the typical deal sales guy who just wants to sell anything. He was there to make sure we find what we’re looking for and not focused on closing the deal. Manager Damon and Scott made the experience really fun. My kids had a great time. We even did the famous GONG show :) our experience here changed the “Dealership” bad sales guy reputation. They have the best Customer service/relation experience :)

Let me start of by saying my experience with the salesman Cesar was outstanding. This review is in no way reflective of the sales department and I would give them 5 stars if I could rate just that department. The shortfalls come as soon as you are handed off to financing and everything beyond that. They have failed on so many levels. I traded in a vehicle along with the purchase of my new vehicle and they were supposed to send a check off to my bank to payoff the previous loan. it took them almost a month to complete this task. I made countless calls down there to ask what the situation was and constantly got their voicemails. I finally had to go down there in-person to get an answer. I was told the check is in the mail. A week went by and still no loan payoff. I had to go down their again and was told that the check had just been sent yesterday., which is not what they had told me the previous week. Finally, after much worrying and confusion the loan was paid in full over a month after trading my vehicle in.Second shortfallI went to go pickup my plates and the registration from the dealership.The registration they had registered for me contained many errors. I was told they would correct the errors and have new registration sent out to me. Here I sit a month an a half later and still no registration. I guess I will have to take care of that myself.Third shortfallOver 2 months later, they have still not taken the trade in out of my name. I guess I will have to take care of that on my own as well.I understand mistakes happen every so often, but this many mistakes by multiple people is unacceptable. I will not buy vehicle there again just due to the fact that the service on the back-end absolutely stinks.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had when dealing with a Mitsubishi dealership and I will not be going back. Dropped my car off at 10:30am for a simple oil change and tire rotation. By 4pm my car hadnt been moved let alone touched. The only response given by the manger was that there was nothing they could do unless I wanted to leave it with them over night. Not sure about anyone else but its not so easy for me to be with out my car for a full 24 hours let alone schedule another ride back out there to pick it up. And if they couldnt manage my original service request in 5 hours what assurance did that they would be able to complete it after a full day?

They took advantage of my sister and disabled veteran brother in law. Told them they were getting a1500 rebate for their trade in never happened. Made them wait 6 hours and wouldnt give back their keys and registration. My brother in law was Ill because he hadnt eaten and was supposed to take his anti seizure medicine. They gave them a new car in trade of the other one they had gotten from them. They liked their blue one the new one had no 4 wheel drive and is black and they have longer to pay on it... they really ripped them off.. thinking about turning them in for taking advantage of a mentally disabled vet... not good people they lie.

I needed to replace my Mitsubishi key, cause it was out of sync or something cause my car wouldn’t start with out it cause the chip , all of a sudden,but they did fix that issue for over $200 , saying that key chip didn’t belong to my car, I had this car for 6 years and it’s my only key. but now my car has acceleration issues after they gave it back to me,cause they had to reprogram the system for the new key, I had that car for 6 years and no issues till they got a hold of it, and gave it back, now I’m stuck with a slow car that’s trying to push atleast 60mph and jerks when come to a stop and accelerating again , I’m going to shop after shop paying hundred of pointless diagnost no mechanic to figure out, and this place assume they didn’t do anything and yet still tries to charge me to get it looked at again and if there is a problem they will fix it with a FEE, they are trying to charge me something that they did! That They messed. so now I’m stuck and might have to buy a new car due to this !! 👎 these guys prob will charge you to use the rest room

Bought a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS. The vehicle had the SRS light on. Brought car there to be diagnosed after calling the service department and talking with Terry. Terry was extremely knowledgeable. The service team went through all parts of the SRS system to ensure they weren’t just replacing parts that didn’t need to be replaced. The next day I brought the car back to be repaired and was dealing with Sam. Sam put a rush order on the part. When I brought the eclipse back they had a car and driver ready to bring me home while the car was being repaired. Once the car was repaired the driver came back and picked me up at my house. The service was bar none, the best service I have ever received at any dealership. I strongly suggest if you have issues with a Mitsubishi or Kia you take it to Sam and Terry

The steering wheel and gear shift were all oily after my service there. The manager seemed to be in a bad mood and said I would have to pay extra to get it cleaned. Normally they clean the entire vehicle when they returned it to me. This time they only clean the outside and then left oil on the inside and said I would have to pay to remove it. The manager was also in a dispute with a young man and I witnessed him being very aggressive in his speech towards the young man and talk down to him when the young man had a legitimate concern about his vehicle. So the manager is giving me a hard time and someone else a hard time at the same time. By the looks of things he makes a lot of people upset. Why does he still work there? Maybe hes having problems at home and taking it out on the customers.

I bought my Mitsubishi Lancer from here(auburn wash), sales person was Damon, very professional, curtious, and a people person... He was also very observant, he seen and/or noticed my likes without asking and drove a car out to me to look at and test drive. I drove it home that night!! Very first time having a brand new car. i get emails and textes from Damon and service station to ask how Im doing and to service my car, which I got free oil changes for life(cant beat that). And... I even got a call on my birthday from Damon Wishing me a happy birthday!! Your too kind Damon!! And thanks for the great car, i absolutely LOVE IT!! I have been in SUVS for many years, kids all grown and Damon drives this 17 mitubishi lancer out and i fell in love with it immediately and bought it on the spot!!Thanks guysCarma
