Tried calling and leaving an email about tent sent up. First email they told us the tent would be set up that afternoon. It was never set up, no call nothing. We tried calling that afternoon multiple times. No response. Emailed again...no response. I wasnt even supposed to be home but was because I was sick. Someone was ringing my doorbell at 7am to set up the tent. I tried calling the company while they were setting up again with no response. I finally went outside and asked one of the workers to call his supervisor and put him on speaker phone so I could talk to him because there was no other way to get ahold of them. He pulled excuse after excuse. They also didnt tell us the tent couldnt be set up on pavement that we got because it needed to be staked down. So the plan the bride had had to be changed at the last minute. Then when it was set up it was still dirty from the previous event with leaves that clearly didnt come from my property with no trees around. It was also dirty underneath too, chairs and tables were beat up and chairs were dirty. They told us it was scheduled to be picked up on Monday. I called Monday afternoon to find out where they were. In anticipation of them randomly showing up at 7am again all the guests had to strip the tent down at 10pm after the party in the dark. After calling them they told us the tent wouldnt be taken down until Tuesday. Surprisingly someone answered the phone. I told them they needed to call after a long conversation about their unacceptable communication they actually called to tell me the tent was going to be taken down. I will NEVER work with this company EVER again.

As a wedding planner, Upstate Party Rental is my go-to for CNY weddings and events. Mike and Karen are easy to work with, responsive and personable. They both have lots of experience in the events industry, as well as much knowledge of the specs and small details with diverse rentals. That is key for me -- they allow me to perform my job more quickly and efficiently! I highly recommend contacting them for any rental services you may need!

The team of guys that sent up everything for my wedding were wonderful! Hunter, Greg and Michael worked with me and asked the right questions to execute the perfect setup for my outdoor wedding. I wish I could say the same about the take down team (different guys), but they had a big mess to contend with as it poured rain and became very muddy, so I wont knock them at all. All in all, I am very happy with my experience and would recommend them!

Upstate party rental did an amazing job. Everyone from the first time we made our phone call to reserve the tent, tables, chairs and lighting was great and extremely friendly. WHAT AN AMAZING NIGHT WE HAD. Everyone loved the tent and table setup. Great great company to deal with. 5 stars all the way.

Upstate Party Rental was an absolute joy to work with! We recently had a celebration for my work Enfoqué Images and used Upstate Party Rentals services and were blown away. Their staff was so helpful and made set up and breakdown a breeze! We will definitely be calling them in the future for parties and events.

We booked this company based on its stellar reviews online. We did not have this experience. Per our contract we were scheduled to have our tent, linens, chairs, tables, and lighting delivered Wednesday August 4th for our Saturday wedding. We politely requested a window for delivery as the venue is a busy winery that had other vendors as well coming to set up for our event. They asked if the tent could be delivered earlier, but it was not feasible again due to the location of the venue. Wednesday came and went with no response from this company. The last contact we had was with a young lady at 11 am saying we would be delivered in the afternoon and she would call back when she had news.She never called back. I left a voicemail, I was very polite. I emailed the company as well. My Mother in Law and several relatives sat at the winery for HOURS and it eventually closed with no tent in sight. No one answered the phone. I have been in customer service most of my professional life. I understand delays. I would have been more than content if anyone had just called me. Or emailed me. Wasting my family’s time without a word is deeply upsetting.Finally long after the winery closed the tent arrived, but most of the additional items we paid for were missing. The chairs were absolutely filthy and my relatives had to clean them all.The only good experience we had was with one of their new employees named Hunter who was our delivery driver and was clearly working his butt off and was very professional. He’s the only reason for the 2nd star. I have included the screenshot of the times I tried to call these guys the day of the delivery as I noticed the owner has had snarky responses to other poor reviews. I also included the email which no one bothered to respond to.

The actually tables & chairs were spot on to the product I had expected. The Delivery itself was fine. The deliverymen were Professional and Polite.The Lady that I spoke with was also very Professional.HOWEVER. I booked my Dinner Party for Saturday 5/15 & I spoke the office numerous times. In fact, I I spoke to the office Mon, Tues & Wed of the week prior. Why you ask? Well... They couldnt give me time for the Saturday morning delivery! Mind you... Im freaking out a little because my Party is that night! Finally Friday Night I spoke with the owner. He was so disrespectful to me that my husband heard & took the phone from me. The arrangements were made. Next day they delivered the tables & linens.Linens... 1 wrong colored tablecloth, stains & get this... They smelled like bleach & were soaking wet!!!I give Upstate Party Rental 2👎👎

I JUST WANT TO FIRST SAY HOW AMAZING THIS COMPANY IS !!!! I had such a BADDD experience with Friendly Party Rentals (based in Syracuse DO NOT RENT FROM THEM THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!!) after the first “Tent company” didn’t show the day of my baby shower (let me add it was for our rainbow baby which the previous company knew as well) one of my family members contacted Upstate Party Rental and they came THE SAME DAY !! Came VERY fast and set up the tent in a matter of minutes!! I literally wanted to cry because THEY SAVED THE DAY !!! We weren’t able to have a baby shower for our son because unfortunately he pasted away 3 weeks before the baby shower so this time it meant even more to us. So THANK YOU SO MUCH !! This is our go to company !! GREAT PRICES AS WELL HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Thank you thank you thank you !! 😭😭😭

Great service and help during Covid. Change in dates with graduation, you name it, but they made it work seamless and with a total professional attitude. Can not say enough about the service. Our set up, 20x40 tent, 10 tables, 50 chairs for a grad party of 80+. Need a tent, call them.

Excellent company to do business with. We used them for both a backyard bridal shower and for our wedding a few months later. On both occasions we were very pleased with the tents, chairs, service and setup. We rented the big 40x80 tent for the wedding and it was beautifully set up with the inner liner, lights, chandeliers, etc. Mike even let us borrow some of his own extra extension cords to use. Would highly recommend Upstate Party Rental.

By far the WORST customer service Ive ever received I see why they dont let people leave reviews on there facebook page, cause they would be pretty bad.. Because of them my wedding almost didnt happen. My tent was so late we barely had any time to set up. Now at first it was understandable because of the weather but then they kept lying about what time they would drop it off and when I called they had my event date wrong (thought the paper work was right) and I was then screamed at by the childish owner like it was my fault they were late. They werent considerate at all and made the day before my wedding a living hell. We have less than 5 hours to set up for my wedding that had 110 guest. On top of all of that, everything was INVESTED with spiders. It made setting up awful and by the end everything in the tent was covered in baby and mama spiders, even the stuff that didnt come from them. I will never use this company again due to the worst customer service and the fact the owners have no idea how to properly run a business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Excellent service, they care about their customers needs and are so easy to work with, so helpful. They were here when they said they would be, the owner was on-site working with the crew the day the tent went up & came down. Everyone was professional in every way. Once the tent was up, because of weather, we called Mike to ask a question. He was here within minutes to check on things. The tent was fantastic ~ it had no center posts to work around. We wouldnt hesitate to work with this company again. They are definitely the best the the area. Great people!

This company is wonderful. The owner is on site for delivery and set-up and extremely attentive. Their attention to detail is unlike any other party rental company in the area. All problems addressed and a customer is always right attitude.

Working with Upstate Party Rental was an incredible experience. We had very short notice to plan a funeral gathering at home during the 4th of July holiday week and after calling many others in the area, Upstate was able to help us get what we needed and even delivered early. I would work with them again in a heartbeat. Kind, attentive, and great service. So glad I found them.

Mike and Karen were fantastic!!! We Had a wedding this past Saturday and Mike came with the tent tables chairs everything we ordered. Set everything up, we then realized we were short a Panel for the sides, and without hesitation, came back with 2 for us!!!! I would absolutely recommend Upstate Party Rental!!!!! They were late to arrive to my wedding, guests were waiting for chairs to be placed.. they couldnt follow directions for set up as we had already gone over before the day of the wedding. The person in charge of setting out the chairs needed help from my family to help set up in time. They delivered the wrong type and style of chairs than what I had ordered from photos online.

I have used Upstate Party Rental for a number of years for events at the MOST and they are always easy to work with and gracious. Mike has generously donated numerous items like tables and linens to our annual fundraisers, and we couldnt do it without him. Thanks Upstate!

I used UPR for my wedding in June. I was very happy with the items we rented and they did a great job with the set up (even setting up the tents in the rain). Everyone was easy to work with.
