I have purchase from Selco numerous times for different projects that I needed to complete. They have always had what I needed. They have a great selection of tubs, sinks and everything you need to finish your bathroom or kitchen. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful

Feeling hopeless with a broken old shower valve, I went in, knowing that the big box stores didnt have it. They recognized what I had immediately and set me up with exactly what I needed for my family to take showers tonight. I have rarely had impactful experiences in a lot of stores, but everything about this place is what will make it my go to for plumbing needs. Support local always.

Bought a fan limit control for a miller furnace. Brought home and installed to find out that the on setting would actually come on 30 degrees later than it should. (Set at 110, would come on at 140) he was able to visually see this by turning the dial manually and see where it was actually clicking the switch. This hindered my ability to set off to a temperature where the fan would actually shut off and not run continuously. The off setting has to be about 20 degrees lower than on. So it was at about 90 with the on at 110. I brought the part back the very next day and told them what happened. I was Accused of wiring it wrong (even though In that aspect it functioned properly), accused of buying the part to troubleshoot and then returning it, and then when offered another one to exchange it they didn’t have it in stock. So they proceeded to charge me 10 dollars to return it. They were also supposed to find a limit switch for me and call me the next day (which was the day I returned the switch). They never called to let me know if they found one or not and said nothing about it when I came in to exchange the limit control.

I will not waste my time again with this company. Called to find out if they could get a part for my furnace and a receptionist wouldnt put me through to anybody, instead takes my phone number and tells me someone will call me back. Never got the call back and I called 30 minutes after they opened. I stopped in first with the part number when they opened and the guy said he needed the model number of the furnace. Its getting cold and I kinda like to get the furnace going again. I give them 5 stars for poor poor customer service!!!! One star is too much for this place.

When our well pump and tank quit and we had no water, Selco came out to my house within hours to fix our problem. The Plumbers were polite, respectful and explained everything to me and made sure that I understood what was needed to fix the problems. They kept the cost miraculously low on top of it all! The office staff was equally helpful:) Awesome!

High prices. I went in fr the hybrid water heater that energy maine is giving a rebate on. This place is charging $400 more for this than everywhere else. 50 gallon water heater is placed at $1,099... it even states that in the energy maine brochure... went in here an with the $750 rebate he wanted almost $700! So hes selling them for $15-1600. Just thought Id make people aware, so they dnt waste money. Then when asked why the man became very aggressive nd rude the only reason he get 2 stars is becaze he was open on saturday. Lost a sale though.
