All I need to say is back issues back issues back issues back issues! If you are anywhere near the auburn area (I drove 30miles) and youre looking for an issue. Odds are hes got 40. Or more. Seriously.. The only down side to this shop is you cant really browse.. Theres simply too much. If youre looking for minor keys, theyre here in many grades. First Rogue in X-men? See pic attached.. Nothing is priced until you check out, so every thing is fair market value. I got a small discount for buying multiple books.Just go! You wont regret it.

My first experience at this location was a MTG draft. The owner was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone I played with was friendly. I would definitely support this LGS as much as possible. Lots of Comics to choose from. Great D&D selection, and fun people to play games with for MTG.

Awesome LGS store with a wide array of comics, card games and TTRPGs new and old. Stock is always up to date, and theres always events happening weekly. The owner is also one of the friendliest guys in all of Auburn

John is far and above the best comic book and games store owner Ive had the pleasure of meeting. There is a great community of Magic players as well, and I would recommend this store to anybody whos even slightly interested in comic books!

I really enjoy coming here. The owner is friendly, and hes more than willing to help you find what youre looking for.Since moving to the new location Hes really expanded, and has alot to offer; new and old comics. Action figures, collectabls, as well as some unique board games.The Friday night magic tournaments are always fun, and I cant wait to get back and play at them again.

Johns a nice guy but he is RIPPING PEOPLE OFF! $40 for a small star wars figure that wasnt even popular?? $38 for a war plane, found the same one for $16 in better condition. The best part is he sells new Pokemon packs for way overpriced theyare laughable

What an effing hidden gem. Be prepared to spend a while there.There is so much stuff to go through, from new to stuff waaaaay back.The owner was friendly and awesome, and seems to just enjoy running a place to either go to find something, or to hang out and play whatever.Wish I had known about this place before last month.

I havent seen a great comic shop like this in years. Within moments of walking in, I already felt like a kid again. Tons of comics, games, toys and more to make you nostalgic and smile. The owner is an awesome dude as well. I loved chatting with him and discussing his store. Wish I could visit places like this more often.

Nice large store, had old comics, new ones, and discounted. Limited number of boardgames. Small video arcade. And several tables to paint or play games at.

So I was sent into this comic book store to buy Batman comic books and it was a new experience for me. Really nice people and the guy answered all my questions and helped me look for what i was there for. I just grabbed what i thought looked cool and i was successful!! Overall greqt experience.

I was looking for obscure star wars prequels collectables and Heidi helped me find this incredible Obi Wan Kenobi watch that I wear everyday. Theres so much neat stuffed tucked away in this store and she knows all the hidden gems! She was very knowledgeable and I love how quick she is to let customers who dont think she works there know that she is a strong female nerd who dont need no mandalorian!The best part of comic stores are the passionate people and Heidi is the best Ive ever seen!

Brought my kids in on trip to placerville. Was not happy with tv playing show that was R rated. Owner was not very friendly as he did not really talk to us or ask if we needed anything. Had heard good things about shop left very disappointed.

Air conditioning, great collection of classic comics and new books, tables for Magic the Gathering, toys, wifi, RPGs... pretty unbeatable for Auburn. More than any of that though, anything they dont have the owner John is happy to order.

One of the friendliest comic shops in california, great staff, great finds, and quite a few great customers build a family atmosphere that keeps me coming back even when i dont have something specific im looking for.

Terrible store! Would leave 0 stars if i could! No prices on anything and if there is a price on something store owner will not sell it to you for that price. He says he has to look it up 1st and price is usually 3x the price marked! Stay away from this store!

Some of those friendly and welcoming staff you never be willing to call you when the item you ordered has come in or when something you might be interested in has been stalked in one case I was the first person the owner calls and he sold me on the item immediately
