Ordered a book from this company that came in spectacular condition! Have never heard of the company before and did some research and would definitely buy from again! Price was very fair shipping speed was comparable to Better World Books!

On Amazon, I ordered a $2 used book from Clean Earth Books. The shipping charged stated was $4, but Clean Earth charged $10.90 for shipping and handling. Clean Earth never responded to my email regarding the ridiculous charge. I would have bought the book new if I had known the shipping charge was that much. Amazon always treats customers as their first priority, as was true in this case. Even though Clean Earth was a 3rd party seller, Amazon gave me a $16 credit to make up for Clean Earths mistreatment of an Amazon customer.

I ordered a book and got an email from Amazon the day it was suppose to arrive stating they have not gotten confirmation from seller and to contact them. Called and asked about it and they said they would take care of it. Received the wrong book a few days later and can now not get ahold of them. Would not recommend buying from CEB.

My book arrived in spectacular condition for a used book in just a couple of days after ordering from it. It was clear great care was taken to package it properly so it wouldnt be damaged during the shipping process. I would definitely consider ordering from them again!

I bought a dvd on Amazon from CEB and paid $3.96 in shipping. When it arrived I had to paid $2.50 to get it out of USPS JAIL! I’m in Florida, they’re in GA. It didn’t come “next day”! They said it wasn’t on them. That’s bologna! I’ll never buy from them again! I do not recommend them!

One of the worst warehouses in history!!! The supervisor is horrible and not a great example for the company! He shows favoritism to certain people. He also fires people for any reason he feel like he can, good workers at that! Not only is he a horrible representation for the company but just being supervisor in general. He says one thing and does another! Also what type of supervisor is able to smoke weed and bring weed inside the facility? The owners definitely need to reconsider who they have as Management seriously

Their orders are amazing. My order got to my house on time and the quality of it was outstanding. Staff (in my case a fellow named Bryan) did well in informing me of the process of the shipment/order.

One of the worst businesses I’ve seen. I advise take caution when using this business, it’s a gamble. Also, don’t expect communication, it’s lacking fully. Better off going to Barnes and noble.

I received a book from them I did not order. I have never ordered from them. It was a worthless junk book. I think I may have been part of a scam to boost sell and ratings. Book is in the trash.

Placed my order on the 14th. It was apparently shipped on the 17th. It was scheduled to arrive by 8 pm, last night. I am still waiting on my book to arrive. I understand that things can be chaotic this time of the year. However, I do not understand how or why it takes two weeks (and counting) for a package to arrive at a destination that is not even two hours away from the warehouse.

Recieved my book earlier than was expected and is in EXCELLENT condition! Like brand new! Thanks you guys!

I have bought several books from Clean Earth. Last time, the book had water damage and no refund was given. Other options would be Better World Books, Alibris, Abebooks, Ebay or even Amazon

I bought a used book from them through Amazon. I had purchased a series of books and only 1 came from this store due to Amazon not having it in stock. The book arrived with 5 others books but was the only one with bent and torn pages and dirt and what appeared to be food smudges all over, which I wouldnt consider good condition, in fact I would consider it very poor condition, but wouldnt stop me from reading it either. The problem came when I sat down to read it I quickly... about 3 words in... realized they had the wrong book in the sleeve. Turns out the book they sent me is a book from earlier in the series and had been put in a book cover for the book I thought I bought. Only saving factor is that I bought through Amazon so they are letting me return it so I can actually buy the book I need... not a book I already have. For a company that deals in books I think Id expect a little bit more thoroughness. I now get to return this book and wait for the correct book so I can continue the series. I understand mistakes happen but I definitely wont buy from this company ever again simply for the condition of the book. They advertised it as good condition which was far from the truth. Very disappointed all around.

Great company, Great People, Would highly recommend. Only advice I would give to customers is if a book is late check with them because the post office is many times the cause of this buy theyll happily assist you.

I gave it a star because otherwise the system wont allow me to post a review, but this is definitely a -5 star! This business is a joke! I ordered two books from them. The first order was cancelled because they did not have it in stock after being advertised for so cheap. Then the second book was magically lost in the mail. I tried to contact them requesting a tracking # and the name of the company with whom the shipped the book. It took them a week to reply and they told me there was no tracking # and they didnt tell me what company they shipped it with. You ship something and you dont get a tracking number? Total joke!

Never received my book

My book was not here a month after it was supposed to be. When tracking it it said it was still in transit. With the mail system the way it is there was no guarantee it would arrive at all. I contacted Clean Earth Books by email explaining my book hadnt arrived and they refunded the money with no questions. A few days later my book arrived. When I contacted them again to say the book had arrived they refused my offer of payment for it. I would definitely buy through them again.

Horrible place of business. Theyre terrible to their employees who constantly have to work with managers constantly on their backs, ready to fire them at any moment. Its rather sad, thats why orders are constantly backed up or missing, theyre too busy hiring and firing. The conditions for the workers are dangerous and they fired the employee who contacted OSHA in fear of her safety. Serious racial undertones with white, all male management team. Your products are thrown around, tossed, dropped, surrounded by insect carcasses & clouds of thick dust on a shelf before its shipped to you. I would order from a more reputable thrift book businesses. That 3.3 star rating you see is an illusion and are clearly only from customers.

I ordered a book from this place off of amazon.I was going to give them three stars, because of the extremely fast shipping (it arrived a day before the expected date),But I took one star away because the book had seven(7) pages ripped from it, and when I sent an email and called them about it, they didnt even bother answering back.

Sold me a defective book with 33 pages missing. Definitely a pattern here. They won’t replace or refund. Beware

Bought a book listed in Amazon. It was a 30 page postcard coloring book. One card-stock page was missing and another card was partially colored in. I was not able to leaf through book on Amazon, make sure you do at store.

I bought a used sing along book, frosty the snowman. It didnt work when I got it. I changed the batteries, still didnt work.

Wish I wouldve read the reviews before I ordered a book from here. Its been almost a month since I ordered a book and nothing has happened. Its ridiculous, the only good side being that the book was very cheap and I paid for it with a gift card, so no money was lost. I would only recommend this place to someone I hate.

I needed to contact them about a book that I ordered, but they didn’t respond to my online request (why provide this as an option to contact if you’re not going to respond), and every time I tried to call, all I got was a message saying the voice mailbox was full and could not accept my message. I will never use this store again.

Order arrived 8 days after estimated,which is for me is acceptable. That I received an incomplete (was not listed as incomplete, listed as Good) set (1.5 of 3 movies) for the same price of a full set elsewhere, unacceptable. I believe these are crooks banking on you not following up on receiving a bad product. I feel dumb, not a good experience at all. Kind of turns me away from online purchases.

I purchased my book on-line and received it well within the guaranteed delivery time frame. It was guaranteed to arrive by April 20, and to my surprise, it arrived today, April 6. The book is in new condition. I am extremely pleased and will not hesitate to use Green Earth Books again.

I ordered Night is Coming from this company via Amazon. The book arrived in bad shape. The book is bend so badly it doesnt lay flat. Also the last page of the story is missing. I bought this book as GOOD from Clean Earth Books. It isnt even acceptable.

This place is a joke. Ordered something been playing email tag with them. oh its probably lost in the mail we can try to find another one or send you a full refund. I paid with not only a gift card from a company but a credit card now i feel im going to be out 13 bucks. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. They dont even deserve a 1 start rating.

I ordered two books on Sunday, November 8, my birthday to take on a trip. On Wednesday, November 11, I received an email BOTH books were out of stock. Why did it take three days to discover that BOTH books were out of stock. Thanks for the refund, but I could have them by now, if I ordered from someone else.

Ordered a dvd from this place on Amazon, saying it got lost in the mail, which just makes it more unbelievable that a company like this wont take responsibility for a lost item, and when i send them a message, i get the We will see if we have another one in stock or give you a refund runaround. I already contacted Amazon, and they have issued a refund, and i will not be doing business with this company no longer.

I ordered a used book from them and 6 days later received an email saying the book was out of stock and that I would not be charged, only I HAD ALREADY been charged. When I tried to call to get a refund there was no answer.

Did not get order. CE expected me to go to each of my neighbors to see if they got it by mistake and decided to keep it. CEB lost a customer.

Non-existent customer service. They dont answer their phone ever, and they dont reply to e-mails. No idea how they stay in business. Kinda tough to do business with a company that wont communicate with you.
