I had a complete dual exhaust put on an old K5 Blazer. Very reasonable! I had an appointment at 9 a.m. he was done by 12. It just couldnt have been done no better ! seriously this guy takes pride in his work.

I highly recommend Mason Muffler. I called one of those chain muffler shops and they quoted me $2,100.00 to replace my catalytic converters on my Ford Expedition. Mason did the job for $580.00. They are always busy so you may have to wait a few days but it is totally worth it.

My catalytic convertor was stolen (in my driveway right in front of the house!) The dealer quoted just under $3,000 to replace the converter but a neighbor suggested this little muffler shop. Mason did it for just $415 (after originally quoting me $850) and also agreed to weld some junk metal on the pipes to make it hard to cut and steal. Although I had to wait for quite a while for an appointment, Mason did the replacement in a timely manner on the day promised. The car drives quietly now for so much less money. And the engine light never came back on. As you might suspect, Im now a huge fan!

This is the shop you have been looking for. Here I found the best quote in town along with the best service. Here the price was an eighth of other quotes, the service was amazing both quick and professional. Honest people who are not trying to rip you off. Other places were leading me to believe I needed more work than necessary to fix my muffler issues. Here they actually looked under my car before quoting me any prices and offered a solution that both saved me lots of money, and fixed my issues allowing my car to pass inspection.

He does quick, honest work and with great prices. I had gotten an estimate at one place who told me I needed to replace my muffler (quoted me over $500). I went to Mason Muffler and he was able to repair the existing muffler for under $50. I never went anywhere else for muffler work after that. Cash only, so be prepared for that.

Had a hole in the muffler of my 02 Forester, brought it to Masons with the replacement part I bought online. Dropped her off in the morning, she was done by lunch. No nonsense, honest prices, quality work.

Even let me leave and come back after the job was finished with zero hassle, as he only takes cash/check, which i did not have on hand at the moment. Took my 97 Honda CRV in for muffler replacement (turns out it was the resonator). Owner inspected the entire exhaust system and FOUND THAT NO ADDITIONAL WORK WAS REQUIRED. Unbelievable. Quoted a more than fair price for replacing the resonator and an even lower price for just putting a piece of muffler pipe where the resonator should go. He voluntarily offered to REDUCE his own income! Even more unbelievable. I chose the original resonator replacement option as the price was about half of what I had expected. Done in 25 minutes. Outstanding work, great price, fantastic service. I cant recommend more highly Mason Muffler.

Just got back from here. Had this place recommended to me by Dr. Daves on the other side of Haywood and I thought for sure I needed a new muffler. I even told this to the mechanic. Called me back a few hours later and said all it needed was a patch and charged me $20. Truck sounds like new. Tom took great care of my car, diagnosed the problem correctly the first time, ordered the part, it arrived when he predicted it would, and he made the repair. Part of my exhaust broke while visiting Asheville and needed it fixed before going home. This was Easter weekend and no one was open for the weekend and other shops were closed the Monday after.
