This shop has gone down hill avoid at all cost. I previously had exhaust work done and wanted to upgrade it. I set an appointment a week ago. I get there before 8 am just to be asked to leave my car all day and they would look at it at some point through the day to see if they can do the work. They will never get my business again and I will gladly tell anyone and everyone I know not to do business with them in the future.

Had my Rav 4 fixed in 1 day. Service was good and everyone was friendly. They took the time to answer all my questions. I highly recommend it 👍

Always really nice, and always give me a straightforward price quote. I dropped my car off to have the AC repaired and they called before they did anything to explain what they wanted to do and give me a price before they did it.The only thing is they don’t do appointments so you have to drop your car off before 8am the day of service.

Dropped my Lexus Is350 off at 8 am, they had it done by 1230. Had a very leaky aftermarket exhaust system put on poorly by previous owner. Custom exhaust welded it up and had me back on the road very quickly! All at a very affordable price (Sub $50).

They fixed my brakes when the dealership gave me false information. Were very nice too

Who doesn’t work based on appointments? I have showed up 2 days this week and once last week and I was told to show up the next day early? You open at 8am and I was there at 8:20am and still can’t take care of me? I have taken off work 3 times to come drop off the vehicle to not get anything done. Thanks for wasting my time.

I have experience with doing auto repair and I have been bringing my vehicles with problems here for over ten years. I tend to bring technical questions/ opinions . I have found them noteworthy for their listening, openness to questions, transparency and their awareness of what they know and what they do not. Their willingness to step into unfamilar territory has served my well. I see the team as worth their weight in gold.

This place was extremely busy when I went in there and they managed to do a complete inspection and have me out in 20 minutes great staff

These folks are beyond nice, perform great work with old school knowledge & customer service. I drove from Burnsville and got there 23mins before they open to find I was number 2 in line already for their 8 am opening. Moments later number 3 pulled behind me.There is a reason these folks are so busy. They are down to earth friendly, capable, they care about the customer vehicle and the customers time, as well as very reasonable.I have a 2020 RAM truck with less than 15k and had brake squealing. The dealership wont cover brakes over 12k under warranty and they wanted an exuberant amount to machine the rotors scuff the pads and regrease everything. At that point I was almost resigned to just replace the rotors and pads w performance parts. Instead I searched reviews then phoned in and spoke w Jim. After him taking a good bit of time to speak with me never rushing me even tho I could hear in the background they were quite busy I knew this was the place I would trust my new truck.They opened the doors right on time anddid good work for a reasonable price.After watching them operate and Jim interact with both staff & customers I will absolutely return & have already recommended to a friend on the ride home.

Called to get information on glasspack mufflers for my truck. One answered told me to hang on, next one to answer was rude and sounded Like they didnt even want to be talking to a potential paying customer. I just got my stimulus money and have been wanting to do A LOT of work on my truck. I am very big on first impressions. I guess Ill find another shop that has employees that are more curtious and considerate of potential customers, especially ones that have money, CASH, in hand and looking to splurge on their vehicle. If an employee isnt willing to even talk to a customer then Im definitely not going to want them to touch my vehicle...suck for them. They must not need the money...🤷🤷

I was stressing about the brakes on my car and my friend recommended Custom Exhaust and Brakes; after calling around for quotes this place had the lowest price locally by a couple hundred of dollars. I have someone in my house who is immune compromised and I was satisfied with their amount of safety. They put all new brakes, routers, and calipers on my car within four hours of dropping it off. They had such positive attitudes! Thank you!

The guys at this shop are great at what they do. I had an issue no one else could figure out except for Custom Exhaust and Brake. They are my go to guys for car repair. Never a disappointment. They are straight forward and they dont try to rip you off. They have done work for me on all my vehicles over the years. This is the only place in town that I will allow to work on my cars. They are the very very best!

I moved from Michigan, and this is the only place that I’ve been to that I have not been haggled as a woman and treated as though I know nothing about mechanics. I brought my vehicle in to have my muffler repaired because I didn’t have the means to complete the repair myself. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone, Zack, was very polite and responded promptly to every question I had. I decided to give them a chance and I’m so glad I did. Jim, the guy I spoke to when I arrived was very quick to determine a solution. I did have to wait about 45 min to an hour but he kept me updated throughout the entire process. Will definitely recommend! Lovely customer service! You guys are doin it right!

This is the only repair shop that my wife and I use. We have been going to this repair shop for years and that is because while other shops in the area add on to the repairs you request or need or in one case do a unnecessary repairs to raise the value of their ticket, Jim and the crew have on more than one occasion mitigated the cost of the repair by providing less expensive alternatives prior to doing any more expensive repairs. Even if ultimately higher cost of repairs are necessary as they sometimes are in older cars, this way of doing business has saved us hundreds of dollars!

Excellent place to go for any automotive needs. Had them do a muffler delete on my mazdaspeed earlier today and they did a perfect job on it. Welds are great and the tips I had put on look amazing. Be sure to give these guys a visit. This is where I’ll be going for all my exhaust needs.

I was passing through from Pa to Fl and they provided excellent service! I had an exhaust leak and they found a way to squeeze me in that day with no complaints. They knew exactly what was wrong and I was only stranded for an hour. Before I went here I visited 10+ other places just looking for someone who could get my car in today, but no one had the time to welt a pipe back together. It took Custom exhaust 5 minutes to do. Great customer service!

My husband needed a new strut on his Jeep and the dealer quoted us $150 to replace it. We took the truck to Custom Exhaust and asked them to look at it since we were buying new tires there anyways. When they noticed the brand of strut, they knew it was covered under a lifetime warranty so they called the manufacturer and had them send over a new one. They replaced the assembly and only charged us very minimally for labor. I consider this place the most honest mechanics in Asheville and would recommend them to anyone!

Hidden Secret in Asheville! Subaru quoted me about $500 to replace a resonator in my exhaust. They recommended Custom Exhaust and Brakes.Since the resonator doesnt affect emissions I wanted a straight pipe put in to replace it. I drove up to CE&B around 7:45am on a Saturday and was the 5th person in line! There is a good reason for this line... The staff were so fast and so in tune with one another that everyone in line was taken care of at the same time. Even in that tiny little space!I met with the mechanics and explained what I wanted and they knew right what to do. The quote was AWESOME and the whole repair took about 20 minutes. These guys are awesome! Dont just take my word for it; read the other reviews, meet them yourself, and when youre at their shop, take time to read all the cards people have sent them.Top notch shop thats a rarity to find anymore. I will take my car back anytime!Thanks a lot guys!
