One of my favorite shops and very friendly

After several orders online, I was in town with my wife and in-laws and just had to visit. Wow, this place is amazing. Shauna helped me pick out something special for my students and it just made the visit that much more meaningful. Sutra was in his home, so I didnt have a panic attack, but glad I got to see him.

Tranquil atmosphere with high quality crystals, tarot&oracle decks, and smudge sticks. Super cute macrame dreamcatchers, I pretty much fell in love with everything they had to offer. Ended up getting an amazing astrology prompt journal made in North Carolina (buy a local artist?) with vegan leather and some other goodies. So grateful to have found this gem in downtown Asheville!

Enchanting and peaceful energy, I love how they have tarot and oracle decks on display so you can thumb through the cards to get a feel for the deck prior to purchase. Employees answered all questions I had with a smile. She even gave me a free little clear quartz and some sage to bag with my new crystals that i purchased.

One of my all time favorite shops. Not sure how this shop has anything other than 5 star reviews. The space is huge and beautiful. The prices are amazing. Staff is friendly, kind and helpful. Yes, masks are optional but this is something I love about this shop, especially with having a medical exemption. My body my choice! So grateful to have such a beautiful space to come to for all my metaphysical needs. So grateful for this space!

The store itself is stunning. The vibe and aesthetic is very current. The staff was slightly off putting and distant. They didn’t ask if I needed anything to put the crystals I purchased in and they didn’t even offer to wrap the large raw crystal I purchased.

Earth Magick is a gem in Asheville! Our community is so fortunate to have a place we can go to, to experience real Magick. I love this place and the people that work there are always so welcoming and lovely to talk with. Its my favorite place in town to shop for crystals and all the hippy knick knacks. Especially the soap, just leave some for the rest of us. Also, I really respect the fact they dont require masks, if you dont like it just wear your own. Shaunas dope too

Store workers do not wear masks, beware shoppers! Obviously the store is owned by middle aged Karens who have no regard whatsoever to keep themselves or others surrounding them safe, literally go to any other crystal shop in Asheville, better prices and actually follow CDC guidelines! They say they follow other safety procedures in order to keep people safe however in a building so small there is absolutely no way you can justify not wearing a mask. No amount of cleaning and social distancing can prevent your germs spreading through the air without a mask on.

I am a 30 + year energetic healer and crystal worker. That being said, I came into this store to look at a few polished quartz pieces they had. The employee was very nice and I had no problem with her socially at all. However, she was not wearing a mask and was not terribly concerned with social distancing. Before I left, I mentioned that I wanted her to please stay safe. She knew what I meant obviously, but made a point to laugh and smile exageratingly. Its a lovely store, but I really think you should be more responsible. Other crystal stores in the area respect the public and take the pandemic seriously. You could also.

I visited this place for the first time a few weeks ago. The employee working at the time wasn’t wearing a mask. I suppose it doesn’t do much including that in this review, though, seeing as Earth Magick has consistently responded to valid Covid-19 safety concerns with patronizing and backhanded arguments. However, the icing on top of the cake was that this employee was conversing with a customer quite loudly about a trip they wanted to take outside of the country, and insinuated that they did not feel like going through the trouble of getting vaccinated before the trip. Vaccinated or not, I’d think it wise for westerners that have involved themselves to some capacity with the practice or study of Eastern spirituality to NOT travel to the countries those practices originate from, putting indigenous populations (whose culture you’re profiting from with this shop) at risk. And before Earth Magick responds to this with some lazy legal argument, I don’t care to hear it. This review is simply for the purpose of informing other people that this shop is run by people who do not care about the well-being and safety of their customers, the well-being and safety of vulnerable communities, and the integrity of the spiritual practices they’re exploiting.

I went into this store on July 11 and noticed many people were not wearing masks, as is the law in NC. When I spoke to an employee, she said the owner believed the virus is not as serious as officials say and would not ask anyone to wear one. It is shocking to me that a store that claims an interest in wellness, empathy, the good of the community, etc, would put the lives of its employees and customers—and their respective circles—at grave risk. The store also displays a book by Marianne Williamson, who told gay men in the 80s they could use positive thinking to rid themselves of AIDS. Clearly, science does not exist in the walls of Earth Magick, and I will not be returning.

It was very pretty inside, the prices were great and they had basically everything I needed. I highly recommend :))

Beautiful store. I picked up a tarot deck and some crystals. The clerk was very nice and helpful, and the store smelled heavenly!

As a local, this is one of my absolute favorite places to shop. They have the best prices on crystals in town by far and a great selection. I have adored every single handmade item I have from here - I have a gorgeous HUGE dream catcher and some amazing handmade earrings from a local artisan. I also love their body products--Love spell oil is amazing. This is the place I always go when I want to find a special gift for someone.

Finally a store with the spiritual fortitude to respect the personal sovereignty of their customers. This store has character and so does its employees. The space is intentional, beautiful, and you can feel the palpable energy right when you walk in. The magick your looking for is right here in this store.

Fake and very over priced. Kitchy

Among other things, this place had a very pretentious, inauthentic vibe about it. If I had seen recent reviews regarding what’s going on in here before I went in— I wouldn’t have. Not only was the employee at the counter not wearing a mask, but a customer came in and mistook the “Kombucha” sample station for a place to wash their hands and the employee scolded her while another woman in the store just stood there and laughed. Rather than understand how confusing it is to have something like that set up in the middle of a global pandemic, she just humiliated her. I couldn’t help but cringe at the unprofessionalism. And to be honest it should have been a hand washing station if anything, why are you giving out drink samples to the public at a time like this? I felt so bad for that woman, she did not deserve to be treated like that. Reading these owner responses saying “We didn’t force you to come in” after people express their concern over reckless, irresponsible behavior in the midst of Covid19, a virus that has proven deadly, is a HUGE red flag. There are other (better) metaphysical shops to visit in the area, I would suggest avoiding this one.

Earth Magick is not only a great place to shop but a wonderful place to unwind from the busy streets of Downtown Asheville. The owner and staff have done a beautiful job decorating and organizing a clean and delightful environment. There is always nice music playing and delicious smells brewing in every corner of the shop. If you’re looking for a unique and locally made gift this is the place to go. They also offer Tarot and Astrology readings in a cozy fort in the back! An absolutely beautiful place!

I love earth Magick! There atmosphere in earth magic feels super grounding and expansive at the same time. I feel at home surrounded by stones and plants and energies, and such a great resource for going deeper into earth medicine practices. The Tarot/Astrology booth in the back is super dreamy too. Feels cozy, inviting and special to get a reading here. I always feel renewed and refreshed after visiting this space

I adore Earth Magick! From their hand-crafted essential oil blends to their locally-made crystal/antler wands, this shop has everything I need to enhance my world. The only thing missing, I would say, is classes. :) Please think about introducing one-day workshops or more in-depth, ongoing courses. I would surely attend!

I live in Asheville and Earth Magick is one of my absolute FAVORITE stores in town. First, its aesthetically gorgeous: it feels like a sacred temple from the moment you step inside. I love their selection of stones, books, sacred items, jewelry and so much more. The shops inventory is curated with care and youre sure to find something you love every time you visit. I also love that they offer in-shop astrology and tarot card readings with some amazing local professionals.

When I enter the Earth Magick store I literally feel it is a magical, peaceful and beautiful atmosphere, with so many lovely things to see. I bought a big dream catcher there originally made in Bali and hang it over my bed. It makes the whole room stunning.

Earth Magick is a beautifull shop. It smells incredible, the energy is calm and inviting and the staff are passionate about various healing modalities. All of the astrology and tarot readers are well versed in their craft, and the tarot booth is calm and inviting. I would highly recommend getting a reading here, buying ethically sourced stones and smudges and many locally made goods.

They have a nice selection of polished gem stones, minimal selection of tarot and Oracle cards, minimal selection of books, large selection of mass produced jewelry, big beautiful dream catchers (I was afraid to even look at the prices). The tarot readings were $2.50 per minute, which seems outrageous to me, where Im from $1 per minute is pretty standard. Overall, its a nice looking store, but doesnt really suit my needs.

One of the most unorofessional and worst interviews of my entire life. My resume was not even looked at before the interview which if they had viewed it they would have already seen I had business experience and make myOwn herbs, essential oils, crystal necklaces.. I would not have applied at a crystal store if I did not have knowledge on said crystals in store!!Instead I was asked like a child if I knew what a a “rose quartz was”? Etc they were completely unprepared and making up questions on the spot.The “manager” seemed to be 18 with 0 experience and clearly didn’t trust herself. She was filled with straight anxiety and seemed like the type of person who projects her stresses into others therefore not seeing things clearly. Seemed more concerned with herself and her newfound position than actually conducting a quality interview. Semi immature.Don’t remember her name but she had teal blue hair.I am eclectic spiritually and have been receiving readings since I was a kid. The “tarot reader” they have their does not actually channel energy but just pulls and reads cards which anyone can do. The reading I recieved was not great in fact my mother had to have hers refunded as “nothing came through.”🧐If you are looking for quality readers I would recommend, a man named Chris at Cassadaga as well as a woman named Chelsea who owns aura healing mysteek as well as a Wiccan tarot reader named billy reeves in Orlando. AllOf these people not only read cards but also channel energy and have made major predictions in my personal life.This all was a disappointment as I am a deeply spiritual person and would have enjoyed making a contribution to this place! The products in the store are nice and all things any Wiccan or spiritual person would utilize although semi overpriced. Management and interview was thoroughly disappointing. They could have done much better.Will most likely being going somewhere else from now on

Obsessed with this shop! Its a modern now age shop with crystals, dream catchers and more. I found the prices to be very reasonable and their selection of products and merchandising much more curated than other stores selling similar items in that area.

A beautiful store with two divided sections: one for clothing and jewelry and the other for spiritual and metaphysical products. The clothing was exceptional, though a little pricey for some things; the style represented that of steampunk, perhaps gypsy or bohemian. Lots of jewelry, bags, belts, etc; great variety for both men and women. The other section of the store contained beautiful gemstones, tarot cards, decorations, and much more. Very excited to go back!

Asheville changed so much in the 3 years I was away, but I am here for it 🙌🏾. Found this “on accident” when I was talking with a woman at Over Easy and I mentioned I’m going to a used bookstore on Lexington and she mentioned she was heading to Earth Magick also on Lexington after brunch. Since I couldn’t renew my meter I decided to drive to Lexington to find a spot and lo and behold I park right in front of the store without realizing it ✨ I . Am. In. Love. ❤️. The vibe, decor, selection and prices are great. I bought some gifts for others and a little token for myself 💝. I love the reading area, and they have multiple people who read from the shop (their cards are by the sign up sheet). Love this addition to downtown asheville 💖.

This was a beautiful store. It is like a minimalist, new age shop. It is very light and airy and not over-crowded like most other stores. When we went they didnt have a whole lot that I needed, and most of it was pricey. They sell the same things other stores similar to it sell..polished stones, tarot cards, handmade bath products, etc. Most of it you could probably find cheaper online. It is worth it to go in and look at the wall of dreamcatchers! The employees are also very friendly and helpful. Next time I am up this way I will stop back in and see if they have anything new!

I had the most incredible spirit reading with Ayla last week!! The insight, clarity and knowledge she gave me about my life, my purpose, my struggles and what the persistent messages from spirit were telling her during our session changed my life. We never even opened the cards, after a guided mediation of chakra balancing and energy flow she asked me what I wanted to know. After handing her my rings she began to share what the guides, divine and spirits were telling her. “They just keep telling me you’re supposed to be working with women helping them build and grow their true self confidence, the kind that comes from connection with spirit the everlasting your bucket is always full and you can help others kind of confidence” the things she knew about what I already do in my jobs and how how difficult life experiences would be the magic allowing me to connect with and inspire others also struggling to find true inner peace.I can’t wait for my next visit!!!

Earth Magic is my all time favorite store in Asheville. I will drive all the way from my home in Etowah just to shop there passing up several other shops in Hendersonville and Asheville. Its really worth the drive. The staff is knowledgable and amazing. The products amazing quality and well priced. Worth more then the 5 stars I can give. A must see
