As a previous Farm Burger customer I ordered online. Today when I arrived this location had all sorts of mask required signage more than most businesses. I walked in with no mask (I don’t wear a mask due to medical reasons). The first thing the lady at the counter asked was if I would put on a mask. I said I was here to pick up an online order. She gave me my order and I walked out with no mask the entire transaction. I refuse to support a business who attempts to have the employees act as mask police. Lots of businesses post mask required signage but they don’t really care and they want your business. This location has decided to demand masks. I will not return.
Delicious food and wonderful staff. We tried the basic build you own burger($) with onion rings and the daily special($$) (chicken burger with goat cheese and peach compote) and sweet potato fries. The portions were very large and you could easily to spilt a burger and fry. The onion rings were very large and covered with a cornmeal like crust and the sweet potato fries were among the best I have ever had. The two meals along with 2 teas rang in at $26.23 but with the portions it was well worth it. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
My husband and I went there today for a late lunch. Yes, I ordered a well done burger, but I did not ask for charred. I took my order back to the register and asked to be refunded. They did refund my money and the cashier even insisted on refunding the money for my husband’s order! Went across the street to Five Guys and it was very good.
My meal was delicious. The only problem I had was that the burgers were a little overcooked, but it was minimal. The parmesan fries were very good, and the signature Farmburger was great. (Be warned, there were lots of onions, so if thats not your thing then order something else) Would definitely come back on my next trip to Ardin.
By far, the best burger joint in the South Asheville area. My go to for a quick, rich and juicy Farm Burger..dont forget their delicious Farm Salad and fries, all which come a la carte. My husband and I sometimes share all 3 because once you add a tap cider or soda to your meal you leave there too full asking yourself, WHY did I do this to myself!?
Great selection of burgers, and I enjoyed the draft root beer. The FB fries were a bit soggy, and would have been better if they were crispier, i think. The atmosphere was smart as well. I smiled when i saw the loft for storage.
They have some of the best burgers in town. With a wonderful atmosphere and kind staff. I love farm to table restaurants, and I really love grass fed beef, which they have. It makes a world of difference when you use a better meat. I highly recommend this burger joint.
Best dang burger I think Ive ever had. Upon looking at the menu, I instantly knew I wanted the Sunny Side Up. This burger is made from their grass-fed meat with a few slices of thick bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a sunny side up egg between two fabulous buns. I forgot to take a photo but trust me.... you will absolutely love the Sunny Side-Up Burger. I almost forgot, theyre creamy aioli sauce is beyond good.
The #1 with house made pickles is my go to order. Fries are good especially if you share with someone else as portion is large.
I had a delicious burger and fries. The fries could have been better. They were kinda limp. My friend also had a burger and was equally satisfied with the quality.
Burger had a good ratio of toppings to meat to bun. Decent flavor. The fries were a little meh -- a bit too greasy. The bbq sauce was not good.
They have the best garlic parmesan fries and burgers
Really good burger and really good customer service! Will definitely return.
Food was excellent and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Salads and burgers were both had lots of customization options. The lack of refills for soda was the only downside but that was a very minor inconvenience.
Incredible burgers obviously made with fresh meat. I topped mine with and egg and it was delicious. Great chocolate shake and crispy fries
Really good. Glad I stopped it. Awesome burger. 👌 Recommend highly.
Quick service and consistently good food. Great spot for a solid burger. Mac and cheese bites are freakin delicious too.
Ordered through DoorDash. Burger was really good but the sweet potato fries were very soggy not even close to crunchy.I feel like some of the add ons are over priced, but having said that there are some really good add ons.
This has been a great burger joint to take visitors, but I dunno what it is, it seems hit or miss on flavors. They have good made in house sauces and great options for toppings, as much as they can is sourced locally. They always have rotating tap and can selections of craft beer, cider and a couple wines. I cant place my finger on it, but something just seems off when I go there. Thats why I give it the 4 stars, cause I really have no complaints.. but still something lingers
Hands down exceptional burger!! Loved it from the first bite.Organic, high quality food! Drinks were also excellent. Very diverse menu!If you consider yourself a “burger connoisseur aficionado” then you got to try this place. They set the bar incredibly high!!
This place is just fantastic. Love the rustic inside, and their food never let me down.
I am typically a lover of this place. But this makes the second time my burger is burned and dry. I also received the wrong salad. At these prices you would expect better quality.I will not be returning to this location unfortunately.
Gluten free bun was spot on. Staff was welcoming and attentive.Great experienceGreat food
So many yummy healthy options and fun salads. I was wrong on my assumption this was just another whacky burger joint. Take out is simple too.
Great food and fantastic service. I recently placed an online order through Farm Burgers website (to be delivered by Door Dash). The Dash driver screwed up the delivery, being over 45 minutes late, leaving the wrong order from a totally different restaurant and then refushing to answer calls. So totally Door Dashs fault. Farm Burger made it right - they had no hesitation to credit the order and when we re-ordered they gifted us a ton of extra fries and also a gift card. This is a great local place and the food is always awesome.
One of my favorites in Asheville! All of this food was $25! They have an amazing lunch special that goes till 3 (I believe.) The FB sauce, apple butter and candied jalapeños are bomb.com! Always fresh, always delish! Thanks Farm Burger!Ps definitely appreciate you always paying attention to the notes and putting sauces on side! You rock!
Stopped on our way through town and the veggie burger was great. Husband also enjoyed his Farm Burger. Also got an onion ring order for the table and all was solid.
We always share a burger & fries. Just right!
A giant THANK YOU to the amazing catering crew from Farm Burger South Asheville - we had a blast with your team @ our 50th anniversary event yesterday at Point Lookout Vineyards. Our heart was to celebrate well the work this agency has been doing investing in seniors in Henderson County for 50th years with an elegant picnic on the top of a mountain - and you folks helped us pull that off.Staff was courteous, fun, professional, and fit right in. Our guests loved seeing you grill out on site - and we are grateful for you going above and beyond - helping with clean up - helping us set out our dessert - and hauling trash off site as a courtesy to the venue.Top notch job Lisa, Rebecca & team! We appreciate yall!-The Henderson County Council on Aging team
Amazing food! Recommend the chicken burger with goat cheese. Great laid back place with friendly staff and awesome craft beer!
The burger was wonderful. Good price for the quality. Fries were a touch over fried for my liking.
The beef at Juicy Lucy’s, just further down Hendersonville Road toward Biltmore Village and on the opposite side of the road, is muuuuch better!! Definitely a better burger at Juicy Lucy’s. It’s worth the drive.
Dont waste your money. Ive been there 4 times now, so I could give them a fair shot. I have yet to receive my order without something wrong or missing, and Im not making any complicated orders. I can tell that the beef and bacon they use is good quality, but the rest is substandard imo. Also, getting charged extra to get cheese on your burger because they are out of the cheese that is supposed to come on it is pretty terrible customer service. Ive worked in customer service for years and would never upcharge someone for something like that.
Great place for a burger. We stopped in while traveling to Asheville. My wife got the burger. I had the daily special chicken biscuit with pimento cheese. We were both impressed with the choice we made for lunch. Great food and the fries were awesome. The staff were top notch. The service was great, and it was very clean. We will be back.
Awesome burger and fries! First time there, would definitely go back again!!!
Delicious burgers, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Will definitely eat there again when in Asheville.
I stopped eating there a year ago, after seeing there was no soap in the public restrooms. I decided to give it a whirl tonight, only to find that AGAIN no soap (in the middle of a pandemic.) Baffling...
Stopped in on the way to Asheville and really enjoyed the burgers. The classic Farm Burger was really good, and I built a really good burger with their great selection of burger toppings. Really good burger patties and the sweet potato hush puppies were also really good!
Hands down-best chicken burger with slaw EVER—- I asked to go back every day- that delicious!
Food was amazing, servers were super nice. Definitely recommend.
Enjoyed their local made burgers and fries.
The burger was perfect. We also got fried green tomatoes, fries, and onion rings. Too much food, but we ate most of it. Park at the other end of the lot. Wear a mask.
Employees were so great and nice, fries were amazing. Burgers werent very good. Were bloody and just didnt have very good taste.
Great burgers. My husband and I dined here for lunch today. We are from Tennessee so we had never been here. Really great tasting and fresh food. Didn’t seem like they had refills though considering their drinks come in a can. But if you aren’t a guzzler, it’s not a big deal. The staff was really nice and helpful!
My daughter wanted fries, so we stopped in here and she was delighted with how delicious they were. We ordered the Brussels sprouts to share and, once we drained the oil from each, they were yummy as well.
The place seemed like a good idea. Looked and sounded great but unfortunately it was terrible and a huge disappointment. Burgers have no taste and a sad bun. Pimento Cheese fries were Cheese Whiz with Jalapeño slices. Had to send it back as it was a complete mess. They were nice enough to exchange the fries for garlic parmesan fries but these were awful too, terribly burned and soggy. Not worth it for overpriced food.
Not really a five but better than a four. Both the fries and onion rings seemed a bit over cooked and maybe old oil. Burgers were pretty good.
Look, we love Farm Burger and I hate posting reviews. Had there been a follow up email after our online order I would have said this there rather than leave a public review but that was not option. We ordered pick-up food tonight and scheduled it for pick up at 6:30. We received a text message at 6:18 saying that our food was ready for pick up. When we arrived, at 6:29, and said something to the person working the counter she flat out told us that we were wrong. She claimed we got the text because the “system always sends out the text early”. She went and talked to the women working the pass who made a very disgruntled face that we would even question the timing of food being made. They rudely asked if we wanted it re-cooked, in a way that implied that it would be quite inconvenient to do and that the food had only been under the laps no more then 5 minutes. We declined to end the experience and go home. When we returned home it was apparent that the food was under the laps far more than 5 minutes; 10 minutes after pick-up the food was barely lukewarm. My partner and I collectively have about 35 years in the restaurant industry under our belt (both front and back of house) and you don’t treat people like that. You should take pride in your food and care about the experience people are having with their dine out, especially during COVID. It would not have been hard to re-cook those burgers and would have cost next to nothing to remake. In turn you would have made up for a mistake rather than make your paying customer feel like they were in the wrong.
One of the best veggie burgers Ive ever had + an amazing selection of toppings and extras. I got a side superfood salad and that was amazing as well. I got it to go but honestly the atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing.
Consistently delicious food! Try the specials - often interesting tastes. Great milkshakes too!
8 out of ten times consistently really great burger. Sometimes undercooked if you manually order medium rare. Their ingredients are always fresh and their new lunch combo is downright a great deal for the price. I feel like it used to be more expensive but at the price it is now I will be going A LOT more often! Smart business move lol
By far the best burger I’ve had in such a long while. I’m on vacation from Philadelphia and I’m so happy I made this stop. Using local farmer and breweries is such an amazing thing! Loved my visit here and I will surly be back!
Burger and fries were good but gf bun was a little on the dry side but grateful they have them. Love the variety of options. Not sure why they dont list all of the the locations nationwide (like those in CA) on the landing page-kind of strange.
The best burger I have ever had...the gluten free buns were amazing...the availability of local brews...the fg sauce...the fries...the onion rings..all top notch.
My bf and I just stopped by for a bite because we’re in Asheville for a couple days.... we both got the sunny side burger and parmesan fries. IT WAS AMAZING. If you’re in Asheville or wherever else, you NEED to try this place. I’m a picky eater and I give this place a 10/10.
Third time coming and I’m still not impressed with this location. The downtown location is great but at this one the staff are just rude and the food is always not good. My burger was extremely tough. Shocking that fries were mushy. For 30+ dollars for two burgers I’d expect way more. disappointed. All I wanted was a good burger. Now I got lock jaw from chewing this tough burger.
Hands down the best burger you can buy. You can taste that its grass fed and fresh. They have gluten-free buns and lettuce wraps as well.
Great vegan burger and sweet potato fries! Good price also.
Great food. Wonderful service.
One of the most flavorful burgers I have had. The fries were great too!
Great burger! Taste amazing. Good hand cut fries. Good beer selection. Friendly staff. Eat Here everytime we come to Asheville.
I’m vegetarian and tried the Beyond Beef burger with my sister yesterday and we both loved it! The Farm Burger Fries were awesome and not too soggy. It was so good I had to come back a second day in a row. The employee I talked to was very nice and gave me extra sauces. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
Me & my husband always enjoyed going here.. yet lately the food just is not that great. Guess we will look for a new burger place. Wish yall did not change your quality of food.
Food is good and fresh. Plenty of draft choices. French fries are awesome but the onion rings are lacking. Good place for a quick bite but nothing worth writing home about
The service was good, and we got our food relativity quick! I just got the farm burger with a side of FB fries. I was very pleased.
Got food to-go. Small portions for side items. But tasty.
The best gluten free burger ever!
Amazing burger. Had the Double Bacon Cheeseburger with a large fry and a side farm salad. Salad was great and so was the burger. Only problem I had, personal issue, is the fries were over cooked and quite hard. Which is why I took off one star. All in all though will try again in the future when visiting. From Fredericksburg Va, visiting Grandfather at Givens weekly.
Great staff, delicious thick hamburgers, and tasty fries. Enjoyed a porter beer with the meal.
Best hamburger in Asheville. I like to get the double burger but they also have good salads, chicken sandwiches, and pork sandwiches. I like the south Asheville location because there is parking and the restaurant is very clean and has big windows that allow for a lot of light. This is a great place for lunch or dinner.
Excellent place to eat. Very clean and the burgers were awesome! The fries could have had a little more flavor but I would go again for sure.
I am not a food expert but I thought the burgers were great. The fries and tea were very good as well but didnt stand out like the burgers did.
The beef is delicious, five stars on it, the rest is three stars.
Staff are awesome!!! Food has lost a little in past couple years!
