I love Home Depot! They provide you with an email of your receipt, so you can always look back in your email to find some thing that you purchased there. Also, the receipts are not in hieroglyphics, so you can usually find what you need. Sadly however, you do not get an email receipt when you use the gift card. I wish they would fix that! I also appreciate their help, although it is not as good as Ace Hardware. They do have more items than Ace because they are so huge. I also like to search for things online, and then find the exact aisle and they were some thing is, then I don’t have to ask

Updating review to 5 stars. I was having an issue with an appliance being delivered and damaged. Challenges ordering (same model out of stock) and expediting new installation at rental property. The new store manager at Wadsworth CO location went above abd beyond to sold issue. EXTRAORDINARY service. Please call me so I can get him recognized. Good grief...way to many smiling faces this early in the morning 🤭 My boyfriend paints houses, among other handyman jobs and was mixed 5 gallons of the wrong color of paint...and was not aware, until we was done and customers came home to the majority of their home the wrong color...I cannot recall the name of the lady employee working in paint department that helped getting the perfect color for his customers. Thank you very much🤘Now if we can get the extra labor to go back and repaint (2 coats this time🤔

Rented a truck here and it was a pretty seamless experience. Not too pricey and they guys were real nice and understanding! Would much rather go back here than deal with u haul!

Had to rent a piece of equipment that came to me damaged and needing maintenance. I had to return to the store to pick up parts for it and then put them on myself. They then snuck in a damage protection fee into the rental agreement, I do not know who the damage protection plan protects since it did not protect me from receiving a damaged machine. I will never rent from here again.

No buggies, girl in customer service said they are probably out in the lot, while filling one with returns, didnt offer to get one. No help in store. Every time I need something they say to order on line, can receive 4-7 days. Well Ill just order Amazon and get it cheaper and quicker

Had to go pick out composite decking for my contractor, and he suggested I see Lisa at the pro desk. All I can say is WOW! Lisa was crazy busy but went out of her way to get me a composite I liked. I worked in the retail industry for 20 plus years and this is customer service at its finest! I want to commend Lisa for going above and beyond to help me while juggling other issues at the same time. This Home Depot is out of my way, but I will surely shop this store thanks to the service I received from Lisa. I hope store management reads this and commends Lisa for being such a great employee. Its employees like Lisa that will keep the brick and mortar stores in business for many years to come.

WORST APPLIANCE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! I would give negative stars if I could. If I sound upset I certainly am, because I have been washing dishes by hand for the last 26 days while my new dishwasher sits worthless in my kitchenHeres my situation: I bought a new dishwasher and paid extra for haul away and professional installation. When the installers came they did a rushed job and I couldnt monitor them because I had a web meeting. The installed the washer well below the counter top and crooked (see image). Worst of all, IT DIDNT EVEN WORK. It just flashes an error code when I tried to run it. Evidently the didnt even test it. Very professional.I have been calling Home Depot customer service for 3 days and no one will help me. They just keep passing the buck around saying I need to talk to someone else who can help, but somehow that person is never around. Eventually I went to the store to talk to them in person. They said they would send the installation team back out to fix it. Still waiting. They havent even tried to call to schedule a time. They gave me the number for manufacturer service and I called them, they said they would try to send someone to fix it in 7-10 business days. Perfect, Ill just keep washing dishes by hand since my time has no value.In summary: THEY REMOVED MY FUNCTIONAL DISHWASHER, LEFT ME WITH A USELESS APPLIANCE, AND TOOK 1000$ OF MY MONEY. Next time punch me in the face before you take my money and functional appliance so I can report this as robbery to the police, hopefully they will be more responsive than Home Depot customer service.*Edit* Day 4 of washing dishes by hand. When I called, they said the appliance wasnt delivered to them (of course it wasnt their fault), so they will reschedule the installation. The installation team came again to install a new dishwasher because the other one was deemed defective. During the installation, they stopped and said they couldnt finish because the electrical wires were aluminum instead of copper. Ok, well that didnt stop the first team from installing it! So my house was at risk of electrical fire the whole time!?!?Resolution: I canceled the order and asked for a refund. I bought another dishwasher (same model) from Best Buy for a better price anyway and will install it myself.

The employees always seem to be willing to help you out even if they are not knowledgeable in the department you want. Its sometimes kinda funny but i think its great. The only down fall that they have is when they need to get something from a high shelf, then it gets serious which is also quite funny. They close off the entire isle and take an hour to get one box. I guess that it is fun to watch they seriousness of people who look around 17 or 18 years old. All and all its always a good place to shop and I should have given it five stars.

Outstanding customer support and service! I recently had a truly frustrating special order experience. The HD team was great, but the door manufacturer was awful. The millwork and especially Amy in special orders did a great job at keeping me informed on status as they grappled, on my behalf, with the manufacturer.While it would be preferable to get my door as designed within the ~6 week window stated at order, the HD team did everything that is in their control to make things right. I will certainly do business with them again!Thanks to Amy, Bob, and the whole team at Arvada HD!

Wow, Home Depot is on it with their Lost Prevention Crew, and by on it I mean --totally freaking clueless. .Tonight I watched a young man walk out with a cart of very expensive tools at least 2500$ worth. The register operator said, it happens every day. Being a contractor who buys a lot of tools from Home Depot, I can only imagine who ends up paying for them...wait a second I do know, its the guys who buy everything from them, just barely getting by, while osb is costing 65 bucks a sheet to go along with a side of an 8 dollar 2x4s, and the management tells them not to do anything because somebody robbing that store is an everyday occurrence and the cost is made up by overage...Overage = spending consumer.

My car was hit n run today. Going to have the store manager review the camera. I was in n out of this store , walked to my car and was completely shocked. Somebody had to see this, besides the tapes

Three staff member’s went out of their way to help a dehydrated baby bat during these fire smoke storms. It was a positive thing to witness and one of the workers is making sure the baby bat is properly taken care of and taken to proper care

I love this The Home Depot. Bob at the front door is awesome ... knows where everything is in the store. Seriously, he saves me time. Always well stocked. Parking lot is usually crowded and Arvada decided to make it so its hard to egress if you want any choices other than south or west. Not my preferred THD due to popularity.

My past two experiences here have been negative with the exception of the garden staff. First, I was looking for something and was repeatedly ignored by male staff who would only help other male customers. Today, I went to the rental section and had some questions about a rental item and one of the staff members looked physically pained that he had to answer my questions and show me how the machine worked. After he sighed and rolled his eyes and said “I don’t know” I decided I was done being treated that way and left. I have never been treated so poorly as I have with some of the staff at this Home Depot. On a positive note, the garden staff is always kind and helpful.

There was a lot of action going on in the garden center! Lots of customers, maybe not as many HD associates as were needed to assist with that number of customers. Overall, they seemed to be doing a great job keeping the inventory stocked, and kept bringing in more while I was there. The checkout got a bit backed up, but I think thats to be expected on a weekend at Home Depot!!Lovely selection of flowers and other plants, and everything you need to get your garden going this time of year.

Home Depot is the Neiman Marcus of hardware, while its hard to find someone to help you, when you do, they help you. I love these stores. Their competitors just say where something is, if I dont find it on the first look I leave and go to Home Depot, I never left a Home Depot empty handed...Dont particularly like the CEO politics, and he should not be public about them, hes intitled to his opinion. The staff and managers of all of the stores in Denver, CO and PG County, MD are superior. So I still shop there. You should too.

Experience was very good. Floor personnel were helpful. The best experience was a very helpful &friendly young male customer. He was so nice and even days later we speak fondly of him. Please require customers to have Covid vaccine. It needs further long-term testing. I remember back in the 60s a sleeping Rx called Tholidamide that caused horrible birth defects. Please research this

I have had nothing but horrible experiences here. bought an a/c and it was broke and they refused to refund me at first. then ended up charging me three times and refused to help. employees have no idea what they are doing.

Solid Home Depot. Overall the selection seemed good, but they were missing the 3/8 impact wrench I wanted. While parking is usually plentiful, getting in and out of the actual lot can be a challenge, depending on time of the day, due to traffic!

Went to get interior doors. As we were looking an employee came up, helped us find them all in the size and direction we needed. He got everything pulled and ready very quickly and got us back in our truck, headed home. Awesome experience with helpful and friendly employees.

In general, this store had most of what I needed. However, the selection of wood finishing products seems to be always getting smaller. There are fewer of the truly high quality products available. I went to Ace Hardware and they had what I was looking for.

I ordered a grill online and chose the in store assembly option. This grill was a grill i had gotten my husband for fathers day. Sadly when i got home i realized that i was sold the display grill. There was several pieces missing and the grill was rusted. It was so disappointing giving my husband a grill he couldnt even use.

Nice store. Easy layout to figure out, plenty of in stock items and team members every other isle to assist you. Went in looking for replacement LED bulbs to get rid of CFL lighting and the associate helped me with a conversion of wattage/lumen output that would be sufficient for the use I was wanting. Found what I was looking for very quick and was in and out in no time.

Tamara at the customer service desk was absolutely amazing. After being bounced back and forth between other associates, Tamara stepped in and went above and beyond to help me and boyfriend. Her customer service skills were outstanding.

I have ordered a washer and dryer and a bathtub from this store online. The washer and dryer was back ordered two months. When the estimated delivery date came and went I called the store and they said the order never went through to the manufacturer, even though I was charged. I had to wait another two months to get the same one. I ordered a bathtub that was supposed to be delivered two weeks ago. I have been calling daily to get updates, and each time I call I get told they dont have any info. That is not how you handle customer service, and I will never be shopping with this company again.

I have tried to shop here several times recently as I’ve just bought a home. This is the last time I will come to the store or this chain. Three times today I was in different departments waiting patiently for an associate, who then went to the first man standing near me to ask how they could be helped. The young guys in the paint department were especially rude to me and two other female customers. All studies show women control most money spent in households, even for so-called male items. Associates at this store need to be better trained on good manners and customer service, especially toward women. Took my $5000 list to the blue store next door and will NEVER be back. Lost sales for a lifetime of this very busy FEMALE DIYer! 😠

I have given Home Depot so many chances this past year - and they have botched every single order. I learned NOT to order online because there is no relationship to what you can order and what they have. And that is not related to what gets delivered. this is like 5 or 6 times this year. I waited for about 4 months and gave them a try again - NOPE. Online says they have 26 in stock, I CALLED instead of ordered and 26 was confirmed. Delivery was supposed to be yesterday by 4, I began calling and holding at 3:45. Finally at 7 it was determined that it was not going to happen on time and by the way, there are only 13 in stock anyway. If you need anything for business that has any kind of deadline issue, just say NO - go somewhere else. The price doesnt do any good if you dont get it. (this is even with my PRO account that was supposed to mean something)

Home depot is the one stop shop for home improvement bar none. They now have electric mowers and other electric equipment for home improvement. Also really cool flashlights and other items.
