I visited this store back in 2019. My experience was always terrible customer service. I needed a phone recently and the closest store was AG. I decided to give it another try and if the customer service was bad I would leave. When I walked in , it was a very pleasant atmosphere. I was greeted by Amanda , she was like a breath of fresh air ! She worked with me diligently, she was very professional , knowledgeable and was excellent in her sales ability! I am really glad Verizon has focused on changing this store around. and Amanda is a wonderful asset to your company. I will definitely return in the future !

I went into this Verizon store this morning and was helped by William Flores. He was not only very knowledgeable and thorough in telling me all the options available to me but also went above and beyond to make sure the Tablet I purchased for our disabled daughter was completely set up with her contacts and ready for her to use.I applaud Verizon for hiring an employee as capable and kindhearted as this young man and certainly reccomend this Verizon store because of it.Mary Lou Johnson

I have always had good service at this store in the past 5 years..Recently, when I brought my phone in with problems, all they would suggest is purchasing a new phone, each tech giving me a different reason as I went 2 days in a row to get my technical question ansswerd.. Absolutely 5 star service at this store from William Flores on Friday 3/12 . I came in with a multitude of issues to be handled from service plans to new phones and everything in between. I warned William ahead of time that I was NOT tech saavy in the least and usually stayed far away from anything new or “complicated “ with regard to cellphones. He was patient and kind, taking great care to explain everything I needed to know to begin to build a base of knowledge with regard to my phones and plan. Not only building a great customer experience for today, but a better customer for life as I now am feeling much more confident in my own self management of the devices, and the knowledge that employees at this store are there for me when I need a little extra help in the future. Very empowering - thank you.

Verizon customer for 15+ years: upgraded my phone which required a new contract- no problem. However, the sales rep told me that he was setting me up on auto-pay: I would get a better monthly rate that way. I agreed. A month an a half later, I had to pay a late fee because I WASNT set up on auto-pay and I missed my first payment. Also, my sales rep assured me that this new plan he was setting me up on would only increase my payment he another $20 or so. Wrong. It is about $50 more a month now. Lastly, he told me that with my new LG V60 phone, LG would send me a free dual screen case and I would be receiving it in about 2 weeks. That was 3 months ago. After calling the store 3 times about this, is finally learned that i was never registered to receive one and now that promotion is over. VERY aggravated about all of this.

Hello. I just purchased my new Samsung A71 5G at the Verizon store on Rancho Pkwy in Arroyo Grande, CA. The person who helped me was Taylor Grimshaw. He was wonderful. I have had a Galaxy S5 since 2014. It was a GREAT phone that I used many hours every day, but really became time to move into the new era.Taylor helped me find the phone that was perfect for me. He was so easy to deal with, was honest and patient and always polite.I will definitely go back to this store and certainly ask for Taylor. I will also recommend him and this store to others.THANK YOU Taylor!By the way, the new design and set up of the store is beautiful.

So, Google did an unwanted update and my wifes phone started to have app failures. We tried all the resets and re-installs we could think of with no success. We then went to the Verizon store in A.G. and found Trenton. Let me just say this; if you have a problem, SO SHOULD YOU!!! This guy knew his stuff. It took awhile for him to get the phone straightened out so he could reload the apps but he figured it out and got it right. As far as my knowledge with phones go, it was remarkable to watch him do his job. Verizon knew what they were doing when they hired this guy. Thanks Trenton, dont leave...Roy

I had a great experience when I got my new phone. I went in because my phone had a green bright light on it and Frankie Maldinaldo was able to assist me at a good rate. Usually when I get a new phone the process alone takes a good 2-3 hours and from going in, deactivating my phone, getting a new one and transferring my data, it took an hour at most. I would definitely recommend going to him if you need a phone!

My 4 year old phone was on the way out so I stopped at the Verizon store in Arroyo Grande. Brianna Lee was the person who helped me. I always dread upgrading my phone due to the time it takes but this was the easiest it has ever been thanks to her expert help. She even called me the next day to see if I had any questions. I cannot say enough about the amazing service we have received from Taylor at Verizon in Arroyo grande. He has consistently provided extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly service from the day we stepped into the store. He always goes above and beyond and takes care of all of our cell phone needs. He is a gem! I truly hope that he is acknowledged for his amazing customer service. Recently my husband and I both needed to replace our phones 🥺. Fortunately I was served by sales person Tim at the Arroyo Grande store. He was very patient and helpful and even followed up a couple of weeks later to see how we were doing with our new phones. I was very happy with the care and service I received from Tim several times over the course of a week as we had some questions and concerns....On a not so positive note, Im not completely happy with the motorola and wish now I had looked at a samsung and Im still very very sad I lost all my pictures in the transition (through no ones fault). I am still a loyal Verizon fan and will definitely recommend Verizon and Tim in particular. Beth Wyatt

I went in to get help activating an old device that Im still paying for but wasnt using. I tried to do it myself after i was mailed a SIM card and it was giving me issues. I tried to call the customer service number and was on hold for a while. Then i started chatting with a representative that said he can help me and to hang up the phone and then disappeared on me! I called this location and asked if i can go in for help and they said yes. As soon as i walked in, i was helped. It took a while to figure out the issue and get the phone active. For some reason, the representative said that he cant activate the device because theres a payment plan on that line and he wanted me to purchase a NEW device. I told him we are still paying off this device so we should be able to use it and i dont want a new phone. He ended up activating it. I gave it 4 stars because of him trying to make me purchase a new phone that wasnt needed but everything else was perfect! If i do need to purchasw a new phone, i will be back to this location.

I was looking for a newer phone and he was able to describe all of my options. He took his time explaining differences between sizes/models and payments that I felt very well informed. If I can give a minus 100000000000 i would. We went in the store to ask a question about my moms bill who is disabled and got the worst customer service. Mind you this store is hit and miss with any kind of decent customer service. Every time we go in there is always someone new and its their first day. They try to help but they have no idea what theyre doing. Once in a while we get an adult who can help us. This time we were in line for help and skipped over 3 times. We asked why and they said cause the others were asking a question and will be a few minutes. In fact they were buying phones and thats why we were skipped so they can help them instead of us because we had a question and they were spending money. We confronted them about this and they didnt care. Dont waste your money or time with this store. We and everyone we know and told about this is never going to this store again.

These are the worst hours, I work daily from 7am-7pm. Im better off driving to santa Maria where their customer service is way better. About a year ago when I came in to check out speakers for my husbands phone they looked at me as I was going to steal something. Id rather drive out of town to be treated with respect and deal with someone knowledgeable that can help me when needed. The santa maria location always helps me decide on what devices is best for me and my family.

The employees are conceited and ill-informed. Every time we go in there to reduce the insane bill, theres always some new reason why its so high. Literally found some hidden agreement on my now broken phone so I still owe them for a phone that can barely dial out. Save your money, buy phones directly from the manufacturer, and go with T-Mobile or Google Fi. Im done with these guys.

I was super unsure about coming to this establishment solely based on the good reviews to bad reviews and considered going to another neighboring store in another town miles away just to have a positive experience. Though it turns out I only had to go miles down the road to have that very same positive experience i was hoping for. As soon as I walked in the store there was 3 females working the floor all attending customers at the moment. I was not greeted by anyone but understood they were preoccupied with other customers. My girlfriend and I sat down on the bench for approximately five minutes until a rep by the name of Josh came out and looked around and saw us sitting and immediately made contact with us and made us feel welcomed and attended to as a business should do. I came to the store to setup a no contract plan with a previously used Verizon phone to save on having to buy a new one. The whole process took less than 10 minutes and they even gave me a free SIM card which was super chill. Josh was more than professional and is a great representation of how a employee should represent their business. Will be looking forward to do business here again in the future.

I went in to simply transfer my line to a new phone. Ray Sanchez took care of me and not only did he handle the transfer quickly, he also noticed that I could save money on my monthly bill. Dropped my bill $20 a month and doubled my data with no extended obligations or fees. Left very happy.

Since Verizon first started in Arroyo Grande theyve had some problems however I feel they have come along way. There is always a wait...but then to me Verizon is the best everyone wants The Best. Im willing to wait for The Best! The staff has always been ready to greet me take my information and be has helpful as they can. No one is is perfect ...but AG is my FAVORITE Store. Went to the store after speaking with Verizon customer service about replacing my daughters malfunctioning phone under warranty. I give two stars to Verizon corporate for making the process incredibly difficult and convoluted, but five stars to Nati the employee who wouldnt take no for an answer and worked the phones to get my exchange processed, even after the first Verizon rep hung up on her! So four stars overall. Nati deserves a raise and a promotion and Verizon should know that service like hers is what will keep customers loyal.

If only there was a minus negative 20 to infinity. DO NOT ever GO HERE 😠🤬😤🤬😠🤬 All of the managers, especially Hugo & other managers, LIE a lot. Oh, no bathroom, they dont mind if a disabled veteran has to wait there for hours, to no satisfaction, cant leave or would have to start over, asks nicely, but then, theyre, especially Hugo, is okay with a disabled veteran peeing their pants. Went to troubleshoot phone issues for months, deleting apps, changing cords and chargers, even got cell cases broken, did the warranty/ insurance plan Verizon manager & customer service came up with only to find that, oh, oops, they lied but thats okay to them. A Verizon employee was helping transfer from old devices to new phones, said shed be right back, we waited, waited, finally went looking for her, found that shed left for the day, got ushered out for the day, the manager said shed help & would fix things after her weekend, then she said she couldnt help us. They kept trying to get us to upgrade - AKA buy new phones. Saw them repeatedly trying to sell accessories people didnt want, heard their employees talking about their quotas. Saw someone waiting over an hour just waiting to pay her bill. There was way, way more horrible things to say... So, at this Verizon, customers mean nothing & LIES are okay 😠🤬😠🤬

They sent me to collections for 80 something dollars even though I havent been with them for probably ten years and if you do not pay by midnight they shut you off instantly. I had automatic withdrawal they still claim I owe them money which is impossible. I dont think they understand their own rules and dont care if they ruin your credit due to their errors and theres no communication. Beware of all the negatives, false charges and lack of respect for a persons credit.
