I took my 2000 Chevy Camaro SS to Total Collision & Repair for rust repair. They did a GREAT job that made it look like New. The repair paint was a perfect match and they included undercoating to help prevent rust from reoccurring. The work was finished as promised and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely use them again, and tell my family and friends to do the same!

This was my first time involved in a car accident so sure enough I had no idea how to go about this. When I went to go check out the body shop, i was impressed right away! The service they provide is outstanding and they answers all my questions! I did use Total Collision for the repairs. They did such a phenomenal job! I am so happy with how my car turned out!! No one likes to hassle with a car accident, but they took all the stress away!I also want to recommend my friend Juan, he was in charge of the car. Our family recently had a mishap with our beloved 200 series Land Cruiser. The damage was isolated to the rear of the truck and drivers quarter panel but fairly deep in the body work. This shop is not so much a body repair shop as it is a body replacement shop. They are not slamming out dents and sheet metal and slapping bondo back over the wrinkles to make it look ok. They are actually replacing the metal with factory new and fixing the truck the right way. Given that i know I want to keep this truck for a very long time, getting this done the right way was important to me. The repairs turned out perfect and I wanted to give kudos to Total Collision and PDR in Arlington Heights for doing a perfect job in bringing our truck back to the way it was! If anyone has body shop business that they need done perfect, dont hesitate to bring your truck in! You can see from the pictures that the paint was a 100% perfect match, which is not easy in a Pearl white 3 stage paint! They handled insurance the whole way, aligned up the appraiser, the whole 9! Ever since I got my car (RAV4 2020) back from the shop a second time, the dashboard has been rattling and the a-pillar interior covers are loose. The PDR work was not good enough. These issues have not been resolved because the shop has not been responding my emails and voice messages.I had to take my car back to the shop because of a leak on the roof. The leak had soiled the headliner. One of the owners admitted that they forgot to install a part on the roof rail and that lead to the leak. They offered to do the work right and clean up the headliner.I took the car back also to address PDR work that was not done properly. Even after getting my car back a second time, I can still see the dents.The shop also put on a number of scratches on the paint, rear light and plastic trim. They offered to replace a few of those trims, but not everything. They left fingerprints on the headliner both times I got my car back from the shop.

Deducted one star for the orange peel on the back bumper. Otherwise, good shop.EDIT: I spoke with the owner to get this fixed and he says they are prioritizing repairs during covid and that I will be contacted to use the lifetime warranty whenever they open up full capacity. This tells me once you pay them, they are going to refuse to fix and even let you use your lifetime warranty. Never again will I visit this shop.

Excellent and super professional service!I heard about this place from my friend in Naperville and, although it is not close to where I live, I went there to do brakes replacement and body dent removal, and was very much surprised by the professionalism of technicians at Total. The repair was done very quickly and I was pleasantly surprised by their job on the body dents - I thought that they would still be visible but they are completely gone now. The guys are magicians! And the price was great too!So, if you look to do any body work or any service repairs on your sleek steel stallion - I highly recommend Total and will gladly come back there myself! These guys care about your car as if it would be their own car :)

I showed up looking for an estimate for some damage to the clear coat on my car. They looked it over and fixed it on the spot in just a few minuets!This shop is high-end, nice interior and waiting area, and everyone who worked their was friendly and knowledgeable. I will never go to another auto-body shop besides this one again.Also they have a really cool Snap-On fish tank in the waiting area.

Communication could be better. If there is a delay in the parts, you should let me know without me having to call in on the day the car was supposed to be ready.

I had a crease in my door and took it to Total PDR. Yana runs the front office and she knows her cars....but she also is sooo accommodating and customer friendly.She gave me a fantastic price and I came back the next day for my appointment. I said I could wait for my car and sat down. She offered water and some sweet treats they had at the counter. I was then very impressed when she said , hey if you want to run some errands you can take the courtesy car for a few hours. WOW. Outside of the awesome repair to perfection that the guys did on all my cars, what really sold me on this place was they all go over and above. And that girl really takes pride in that business and Im happy to be treated like a valued customer. Im sure Ill be dinged and dented again, but next time, Im bringing the donuts. Thanks TOTAL ! Honest and professional workmanship here. I had a deep scratch across one of my doors that also had a slight dent across. I was given low effort and higher effort/cost alternatives with clear expectations on what to expect with one vs the other (I could either get the dent popped out and try touching it up but it would most likely still be visible or do the full sand/primer/paint work to get it back to factory condition). It was refreshing to hear someone suggest to just try the lower effort route first and if you dont like it you can always get more work done rather than just either not even offer that or get very pushy or condescending as you might find at some places. Really recommend Sergey on any dents you might have. Full suite of specialized tools and knows just where to twist and bend and got the door back flat in no time as I waited, without taking apart the door. Amazing.

I had a collision repair at the Total Collision center and was very impressed with overall shop appearance and staff professionalism.The office is clean and smells nice. I took advantage of amenities while waited for an estimate. A friendly Representative guided me through a list of items needed to get the work done. They were detailed and patient answering my questions and offered alternative choices.I felt like I was treated fairly and I was respected as a customer. Yana and the staff appear to be very knowledgeable and experienced in their craft. They fixed the rust spot on my door and the bumper damage from a minor MVA. They worked with insurance directly so that I did not have to do anything on my end. Although we had some bumps on the road - no pun intended - they quickly resolved it to my satisfaction on a timely manner while maintaining professionalism.

My experience started with a quote via Yelp. I worked with Ryan and he helped me with the cost since I was going to pay out of pocket. He was very helpful and provided a detail breakdown. Extremely transparent with the cost and making you understand what you are getting. My next experience was with the young lady at the front desk, she help not only keeping me posting but also provided some scan test that I should address with my dealership. I came in for what I thought was an estimate but Rob said he had time to do the PDR work now. I had a dent on the driver door that I saw every single time I went to open it. The crew there is top notch. The team at Total Collision is fantastic, very professional, well priced and very understanding. I have taken my wifes Honda HRV and my Lexus IS 300 to them in the past and the work they do is truly art. Granted I have only taken my automobiles there for door dings / creases caused by careless people. However both of those have not been a problem for this team. I plan on taking our cars there again this weekend to have two more removed.

Sergey came out to me and removed what I thought were impossible dents on my passenger side fender. Impossible because they were deep and on the body line. This is a real art, getting to dent from inside door without removing door panel, professionally done by Sergey. Had a shelving unit fall on the back half of our landcruiser and smashed the whole back end of the truck. Took the truck to total collision upon recommendation from a friend and the experience was flawless. Handled insurance, replaced panels, not repair them! Big difference! When in for a estimate on addressing some rust. Rob was straight with me and didnt recommend spending a lot of money on rust that will just keep coming back, unless a spent a ton of money. He told me how to keep the rust under control and avoid wasting cash. Love the honesty you normal dont see often in the auto industry.Then I had them look at a door issue on my 09 Maxima. Their young Body kid John looked at the door which wouldnt open. He took the door apart and fixed a bad door lock cable. It was an hour of time and they didnt charge me! I still threw the young man some cash for his time. These guys have a new customer for sure!

The entire experience from start to finish was amazing. They repaired my Lexus GX after the front end got brutally smashed up by a large deer. I had about $9,000 in damages. The car looks brand new and they were able to get OEM parts for most of the body. Responses to my inquiries were always quick, status updates were very frequent and informative, their interactions with my insurance company was smooth and invisible to me, and quality of work was exceptional. In particular, Brenda was awesome to work with. Thanks, Brenda! I was out of the county while the car was in repair and during that time, I felt like never left because Total Collision gave me daily updates. By far the best experience I have had in dealing with a car repair!! I had gotten into a car accident in December 2017, and waited until October 2018 to repair my car due to the absolutely horrifying experience I had with a previous repair and insurance company~ My father actually recommended Total Collision to me, after he worked with Rob Stuart after his car was damaged after a hail storm. At first I contacted Total Collision I was extremely anxious, however Rob sensed this- and I after I explained what had happened to me previously- He was so absolutely amazing at dealing with my anxieties, and was sure that I didn’t have anywhere near the same experience that I had before. He was so patient, calm, professional with me- as was the ENTIRE staff at Total Collision. Rob kept me updated daily with where they were at in repairing my car, and what the next steps were. They even helped to assure I was secure in getting a rental/loaner car while mine was getting repaired. I can honestly say when I dropped my car off on October 15th, 2018- that I hated my car. Not only did I feel worthless and horrible about driving my car around for 10 months with half of the front end missing, but everytime I looked at my car it just reminded me of horrible experiences with it. I picked my car up from Rob Stuart and his team at Total Collision on October 31, 2018 and I was in complete disbelief that the car they were giving me was mine!!! It was absolutely gorgeous!!!! They not only waited and got the best parts for the job, but really took the time to be sure my car was safe, comfortable, and clean- I had also arranged when I got the repair to have my car weatherproofed and detailed, in preparation for the winter. I have had my car almost a week, and I still am in disbelief that it is the same car I left with them, and I am slowlu falling back in love with my Honda CRV. I went to Dentway PDR in Arlington Heights and Carnica in Des Plaines before finding Total Collision... Both places told me how hard my dent would be to repair and gave insane dollar figures for repair.Ryan at Total Collision took one look and confidently quoted me a cost and time to repair. He was spot on and not to mention - a friendly dude! Just got the work done and couldnt be happier. Plus... Total Collision was 1/4 the cost of Dentway and Carnica!Go here first!
