Dan was absolutely phenomenal throughout my entire experience with Carstar. This was my first visit to this shop after my catalytic convertor had been stolen overnight. I asked them to tow the vehicle and the flat bed arrived in less than 30 minutes. They completed the repair in just one business day and even cleaned my car thoroughly on top of the excellent quality of the repair. (I dont think my car has been this clean in years!)I cant recommend Dan & the rest of the Carstar crew highly enough!

I was so impressed with the quality and service the first time, I told myself if I ever needed their service again, I would choose them. And so it happened. Several years later and they still offer excellent results and excellent service! They even made getting a car rental, and dealing with the insurance company, absolutely painless. Both visits they even gave me a little bottle of extra paint “just in case” for a little touch-up. You won’t be disappointed with this place. Very happy customer here!

We are really thankful for the excellent services that Carstar gave to us. We have two different experiences sending our cars to Carstar. Dan, Rob, and their team are awesome. They are really friendly, polite, and helpful. I remembered the first time accident happened about 3 years ago, they picked up our car Nissan Sentra 2017 from our apartment. They fixed it and made it look new and shiny again. The second problem happened with our new Nissan Sentra 2020 car recently. The squirrels chewed up wires in our car last winter, and it caused the damage with the electric power of our car. Again, Dan and his team did their awesome job. A parking lot accident resulted in significant damage to the rear end of our Honda Accord. CARSTAR Ideal Auto Body in Mt. Prospect where our family has had body work performed on several occasions was our choice for the repairs. Brought the car in mid-afternoon on a Thursday and it was ready for pick up Tuesday. It looked like a BRAND NEW CAR! Inside and out! Pristine in every respect. When we dropped it off the interior was overdue for a thorough detailing. Upon pick up it looked like a showroom model. Everyone at Ideal is knowledgeable and an expert at what they do. Also helpful and friendly. Facilitated the use of a vehicle while ours was out of service. Sent us home with a little container of paint for future touch ups. Everything about Ideal says professionalism and extremely high standards. I’d recommend them to anyone. You will feel as though you’ve been given a brand new vehicle when they are done.

I have had to bring my car in for repairs a few times in the past so I am familiar with a foundation for service. Ideal Auto Body went above and beyond my expectations. Excellent staff - extremely knowledgeable, helpful and worked efficiently right from the beginning. They literally took care of everything easing ALL of my stress! Their work is also by far... superb! I fell in love with my car all over again :) I will never go to another company. What a great team of people here!

They work with Farmers and my car was sent here to get estimated and repaired. After 11 days Farmers told me they declared my car as total loss. I was skeptical. I asked for the detailed estimate from Carstar and they wouldnt give it to me. They already have an initial estimate when I brought my car there. They said they have to go through the estimate all over again?! Im getting a second opinion. When I told Carstar Im taking my car back they said they want Farmers to call them first. Why, its my car?! Something sketchy is going on and I think Im being scammed.

Honestly Best Shop! They fixed my rear bumper and it looks amazing. They cleaned it, made my car look shiny. Probably even better then the dealer the day I bought it. The day they gave it to me I was really happy with the results and they even gave me a little bit of extra paint for touch ups.

Rob & Jim are the best. I had a fender bender that needed repair. They were able to fit me into their busy schedule and take care of me. They followed through on what they said they would do and provided excellent customer service.

I was recommended to them by my old insurance company and while my insurance company was a complete pain to work with, this shop was great! They were very quick and super easy to deal with. They always answered the phone and helped me out and answered all of my questions and they fixed my car beautifully. I liked them so much I decided to go back when I needed body work done on my car again and I got the same quick, kind, helpful service that I received before. I dont remember who I worked with last time but this time I worked with Rob.

Having an accident is stressful enough....having these people makes it all better! I cannot tell you how happy I was from start to finish. Dan and the other guys really know how to treat you like family. And wow did my car look awesome! Better than before the accident! Nice to know that I have this shop if anything ever happens to my car again. I highly recommend them to anyone.
