Wonderful clothing shop! I try to only wear natural fiber whenever possible especially in the summer to keep cool. Lindsey’s selection of hand made in shop items are sure to please. She even does custom work. My new green cotton dress is my new favorite. Thank you Lindsey!

I absolutely love the clothing and Lindsey! Recently purchased a Plum Duster with hood that ties in the back like a corset.. Such femininity... unique and sexy! Shall I say Renaissance?I feel beautiful and confident wearing this Duster and its not like clothing anyone else has ! I have more clothing than that by the way fron Sacred Empire and plan on more ! Such a creative soul in Lindsey Love this store and her creations .Ladies I receive compliments every where I go when wearing clothing from Sacred Empire . I am happy! I have never written a review on google, but I felt like it was necessary after seeing the few bad reviews! Ive only been in here three times but every time i am SO SATISFIED with everything... customer service, products and even the prices! I find that small boutique style stores with local artists work can be very expensive but sacred empire has such great prices with great quality and beautiful clothing and jewelry. So unfortunate people didnt see that too. Definitely check out the place, they always have awesome styles that are hard to find in most shops!

Sales associate suggested I try CVS when I didnt seem interested in the jewelry they offered.

Poor customer service. Never answers their phone or returns messages to help customers with orders that need alterations as they say the will do. Think Ill take my money elsewhere next time to a more professional business who actually is there to serve the community.

I love this store. First started buying her designs at Summer Arts Fair in Garberville over 10 years ago. I still have the first dress I ever bought. Met my husband in that dress. When visiting Arcata, this place is a must see. Great prices, especially for handmade and organic.

Love this store. Best prices and best selection in town. Picked up a graduation dress for my daugter and a dress off the $20 rack. We always make it a point to stop here when in Arcata. Its become a tradition for us when Im in the area.

Giving one star because the owner messaged me accusing me of posting another review on here I did not post. I did however not get phone calls back from the store. I was told by the store clerk that they do free alterations with tekki. I promised Lindsay the store owner I would prove to her that my google account has my name on it. The one thing I like about the store is that at least half of the stuff is made in america and that the store contributes her own clothing line that is made locally. The staff is snobby though. Because of her accusations I dont shop here anymore.

Rude staff. Stuck up owner. OVER PRICED CLOTHES. NEVER returns calls.
