Usually they do a great job on my routine maintenance on my cars. This time it seemed more of a, how much can we sell you today job! I called 2 of my mechanic friends they told me I didnt need to replace my brakes or rotors just to clean them and replace my caliper.

Had some bad luck with a set of tires I purchased, that was not the businesses fault. They handled everything in a professional manner and very timely seeing that I need my car fully operational for my long drive to the Chicago. Big thank you to everyone that was involved and had me back on the road in no time. Thank you very much to John and Laura.

I stopped in to have a nail removed from front passenger tire. They fixed the tire quickly and without charge. They were ver professional and great to deal with. I highly recommend this company.

Dont use these guys for any custom work, especially on a classic or performance car. They apparently have no ability to bend or weld or use their brains. I brought them a car that had mandrel bent exhaust. My new headers were a little wider apart so I told them to cut before the mandrel bend and extend the straight part. They instead tried to bend the pipes apart with a crow bar or something which I knew wasnt going to work. Then, when they realized that wouldnt work, they cut off one of my stainless mandrel bends and replaced it with a steel corrugated bend they obviously purchased from an auto store. Then they realized the bend they bought had a wider diameter than the original pipe. (2.5 outer vs 2.5 inner diameter) and they had to stretch out the collector/reducer pipes even more. Then they used the cheapest clamps to hold it altogether. (Apparently welding is beyond their capability). I could have rented a pipe expander and used a hacksaw and done a better job. The connections of course leak and so Im getting strange exhaust leak sounds. Ill need to take this car elsewhere to have it all redone.

I took my car in for a rear brake job and a bad tire. The tire was not staying inflated. They called and told me that the car was 20 minutes before they closed. I was to to hurry in and get it or pay on the phone and they will leave the key in the car. I declined this and went to get my car. Driving home I notice that I was getting a low pressure sensor on the tire they should have fixed. The next day it was flat. I filled the tire with air and took it back. The staff was nice and took the car and and spent an hour trying to locate the leak and could not find one. I left the car overnight. We will see. They called me the next morning. The tire did go flat overnight. They replaced the tire with a brand new one because they missed it the first time. They were awesome.

I sat and waited for an hour for a simple oil change. It took these people half an hour just to pull my car into the building when there is only one other customer waiting. And then when they finally finished my car and got it back to me the inside of my car reeked of cigarette smoke. Terrible service.

Slow service, glad I went that Saturday as they found a nail in one of the set of new Firestone tires, just weeks old.

Quick, honest service! I came in one night less than an hour before closing with a flat tire. They not only fixed it quick, but free and was totally jonest with me about if and when I needed new tires. It was greatly appreciated! Ill be back or will refer anyone to them!

Let me start by saying how dirty it is in there, it used to be such a nice place. Dust all over the tables and a dead bug. Smooshed candy in the floor. Clearly they aren’t doing any cleaning to help prevent the spread of covid. I was disgusted sitting down let alone placing my stuff down. That and there’s nothing fast about this place. Busy or not expect to wait 45 minutes for the oil change. My how the price has went up!

I went there for my car alignment. Left with some noise and warning light which they cant reset the computer and turn off. I was told to go to the dealer. They are there not to fix, but create problem. Disappointing.

I only come here now. The reason is that after the free Keurig was done making my cup of coffee I had to wait to take a sip (HOT!) By the time the coffee was cool enough to drink my car had new tires already mounted and balanced, ready for me to pay and leave. Theyve put new tires on 4 of my vehicles and I always bring my own tires which they are just fine with. Very fast, and friendly. Good prices. No issues

These guys did a quick tire job for me out of the kindness of their hearts. Less than five minutes got me back on the road with no charge. Quality individuals providing quality service. If you need work done bring it to these guys.

I went in because I had a leaky tire, there were two nails in my tire one being in the sidewall, I drive a jeep wrangler so rather than buy a new tire I asked them to switch out for my spare and they did for no charge I am so thankful truly appreciate the generosity and the professionalism, I appreciate that they did not speak down to me being a woman or try to take advantage. They have just one my future business. Thank you.

They charged me 30$ to repair my flat tire with a little hole said they used a plug style patch after inspection I can tell it was never touched and my tire is still flat! And dude messed with my seat settings! 10/10 do not recommend Unless you like just giving away your money

Quick service, customer care slacking.

I stopped in while on a long road trip to get some new tires up front so I could safely return home. The process and experience was great, but I discovered in Tennessee that they had installed the front right tire backwards, even though the sidewall says side facing inwards. I had a tremor the whole drive, went away instantly when I had another shop flip the tire. Lazy error, mistakes happen, but shouldnt happen.

Great service, I was in and out in about an hour. Friendly customer service!!! My dad has been going here for 10 years now. Always makes inspections that are related to the work you are there for and make recommendations on future repairs.

Our check engine light came on and our car would shut down in mid gear change. We took our car here and they were absolutely wonderful. They changed our oil which it needed to be and informed us that there was hardly any oil left, even though our car was reading it at 18%. We needed a small part to help with the malfunction and zap now the car works great. Cody the manager is amazing, friendly, and very engaging with his customers. We will be returning for sure. Highly recommended!!!

I have bought several sets of tires and had numerous other maintenance items preformed by this business. But as of yesterday, I will no longer spend a penny at this establishment! I there yesterday to have an oil change and tire rotation on my vehicle for the advertised price of $19.99 dollars. I brought my own oil with, mind you, they did not have to use there own oil! The procedure took over an hour to get done and it was charged almost double the cost for this maintenance. When I questioned them about it, I was told that it was because I used or brought my own oil with!!! Really??? There is no disclaimer on their website stating this!!!! In September of 2018, I had the same exact procedures done for the $19.99 dollars with again, my own oil, at the same establishment!!! Well, I can tell whomever, I will drive out of my way to pay more by any other automotive service business that is fair. My guess is this business could care less about gouging clients, which, I am also good with. I will also make it known to my circle just how fairly I wanna treated! Never again!

The staff was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They informed me that there would be a minor wait for my service which was understandable at the time I was going but the lounge was comfortable and had entertainment available to pass the time. Overall I am happy with the new tires.

Been going here for years and been satisfied, but my last visit 3 weeks ago, I spent over 700 bucks, had them replaced my radiator and other things I supplied my own radiator, they never reinstalled my skid plate found it in my truck bed and I was never told, did call and Jeff and he apologized and I brought it in and then was told the bolts snapped and I didnt need it anyway unless I go off road, that skid plate gets dropped every time for oil changes, thats the weakest excuse and now the bolts need to be drilled out of the frame, I filed a complaint with the corporate office, and shame on you Jeff.

The Antioch Car-X was very helpful over the phone in providing me with an estimated quote for an oil change and replacement muffler. The service was quick for a busy Saturday. They even let me be a pest and talk with the mechanics and ask questions about my car while they were working on it. The facility was also nice and clean and has a Keurig with free coffee. They were happy to run the diagnostic codes on my car when I mentioned the service engine light even though it was pouring rain. Unfortunately the codes were pretty bad news that will require further consulting but I certainly cannot blame Car-X for that.

Very professional staff....great service and prices. Got a tail light replaced for $24. Pep boys from Waukegan was going to charge me $50. Which is outrageous.

This is always a great place to get my oil changed. They will tell you if your car needs work but they are not pushy.Update:I had a noise in my car. They told me it was the control arms. They gave me a couple discounts. These guys are awesome. A top notch business. Seriously, this 9 year old car drives almost brand new now.

I went to get my tire patched because it was leaking air and they charged 30 for for a plug never patched or even plugged it. Total waste of 30 dollars

I have had excellent and poor service in the past. Since Kevin and Alan are now managers, I think things are going to be consistent and better. Last service visit was great. I have been using their services for 6+ years. The mechanics need to pay attention to even the small details. Hoping to make it 5 stars next time.

If you need repairs or new tires on your car this is the place to come. They are very honest, dont try to sell you things that you dont need and their prices are great. They also have the best mechanics. I have been coming here for years and never had a bad experience. John and Laura are at the front desk and are so easy to talk too and the respect is the best from them, they explain everything so you know exactly what went wrong with your car and what it will take to get it back in safe , running order. There was a time when I had to take an unexpected long trip, I called and asked if they could inspect my car before I left and they did manage to get me in, I could go on my trip without worrying about my car breaking down. Don’t bother making an appointment. Car sat for 30 minutes before they took it in. And that’s after I asked “how much longer till you guys take my car in? I had a 10:30 appointment!” Would’ve probably been the same if I just showed up!

I stopped in because I had some vibrations on my drive home in my car.. Cody at the desk was very helpful and had the tech take a look, while waiting a lady came in, one of her windshield wipers wasnt working, Cody went outside and fixed it himself when she tried to give him a tip he declined and just fixed it for free.. Then when my car was finished he said some ice just unbalanced the rim .. and I was all good to go.. Ill be calling the manager its things like this that keep me coming back

FastTire in Antioch is a great place to bring your car for service. Everyone working there is very friendly and knowledgeable. Theres usually coupons available if you are just getting an oil change. Ive bought tires there as well and have had filters changed many times and they are reasonable. They have computers you can use while waiting and great coffee too.

I had a tire on my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport blowout. I called to get a quote for a new one. They said they would have it the next day. Excellent service, and professional people who work there. I will be going back there, and recommend anyone to go there.

I have lots of car experience, and have always found FastTire of Antioch a great place to do business. Reasonable labor pricing, and most maintenance/repair items can be resolved by their staff. Speaking to others who can purchase that part for thirty bucks but cant turn a wrench, much less buy one, your local mechanic (not just this store) has tens of thousands of dollars in that big shiny toolbox and another ten thousand dollars worth of training, education, and certifications. Tearing down an intake manifold on a 150k plus car is a can of worms at best. These guys only sell you what you need, Kevin does a great job taking care of me, my friends, and family. Got my truck back from my alignment with a very noticeable amount positive camber. i am very displeased with thisi brought my old jeep there to have the alignment done after lift and tires and went great other than being slow.this is not okay. after this is resolved me and my family will not come back.

Started out great. Good answers and prices on the tires. Great waiting area. Problem is that for the 9 am appointment it has now taken almost 5 hours. Fast tires no way... SLOWWWWW Tire.I wont be back. Better off going the route or tire rack and someone small local shop.

I caught a screw in my driver side front tire. I came in to get the tire patched: $32. I show the tire to the 20-something year old service tech kid. He glances at it: I need a new tire! Now, I have been driving probably longer than he has been alive! I have had nails, screws and even large bolts embedded in tires in the past! In each case, I did not have to buy a new tire and they have held up for quite a few years! Immediately, he starts going on about estimates, and they can order my brand (Who doesnt carry Bridgestone?), etc. He starts going on about how it is a quarter inch too close to the edge of the tire and the patches are not very big (Funny...I thought tire patches were made of flexible rubber.) and then he uses a scare tactic: I cant legally put a patch on that tire. Long story short: I went to their competition and got a patch for about $5 less. I give it 2 stars: 1 star for service, and 1 star for the effort put in for the sales pitch.

I had a oil change, 4 new tires, new front brakes, all done in 1 1/2 hours. Very courteous and not pushy.

Stopped in to have them check a tire. Had a small nail in the tread. When roadside assistance took the tire off and put the spare on they let me know that the repair was very simple, no damage to the sidewall .However when I brought it here, they took a look at it called me and said unfortunately I would need a new tire because I had sidewall damage. I picked my car up and drove it to my Honda dealer. I should have done that first. They repaired the small nail hole in the tread confirmed there was nothing wrong with the sidewall and was also done for free.They saved me $300.00.

Was really in a bind here with a flat and a time crunch. They were extremely accommodating over the phone and in person. Top notch fellows.

After years of going to this place, I was hoping to get better service. I had called in a day ago to setup an appointment for an oil change. When I went in, the store manager checked me in. I gave her a coupon which was for a free 21 point inspection and tire rotation, which she did not even look at. I was waiting for 45 mins before my car was pulled in. It took another 45 mins to service my car. When I got into my car, I checked to see if the tire air pressure had been checked to fill air. Two of my tires had low air. This was not done. Also, the tires were not rotated. They are doing false advertising by issuing these coupons but not really providing the service.
