Let me start by saying I love Jack! He is kind, personable, and affordable. He also does fantastic work. He is the the feel good, go to mechanic you are looking for. My entire family uses him.I recently brought in my truck to have work done and was beyond satisfied with the work that was conducted. Everything that I needed done happened efficiently and with ease.Fast forward and the reason I am not able to give a 5 star review. I had an appointment Friday to have work done on my car. I arrived and was told they couldn’t take me because they had more cars than expected. They asked if I could come back on Monday and promised they would take my car in the morning so it did not have to be left all day. I love Jack and was understanding in the matter. I also emphasized the importance of this appointment because my emissions test was due one week later.I sent a text confirmation on Monday confirming the appointment that had been reschedule. I was once again told they couldn’t take me because they had 3 cars towed on to the lot. The lot is small and space is definitely a factor in their ability to have high volumes of cars on the lot at one time. However, tow companies also require you sign for a tow and prior appointments should have been considered before accepting additional vehicles. While the representative did attempt to reschedule me, I never received an apology for this inconvenience and was left with no choice but to take my car to another mechanic due to my work schedule.I truly hope this is a one off thing and my positive experiences continue in the future. But, felt it important to share my experience and frustration with the recent matter.

Liar cheat. Sold my family a used Mercedes knowing we would be driving to FL w it. Had no consideration when it broke down in Charlotte left us stranded. Had to use our insurance for a rental for our trip while the car he guaranteed was sold for scrap.

Great man with good work and fair price

Jack is an excellent mechanic and one of the kindest people I know. As someone without mechanical skills, I have had my share of disappointing experiences with people in the automotive industry: being dismissed, condescended to, or taken advantage of. Ive never experienced this with Jack himself or with any of the folks who work with him. He and his crew do quality work, address issues in a thorough way, and resourcefully keep costs down-- always throwing in extras when possible.When Jack tried to retire a few years ago, his absence was definitely felt. Now that hes back, it is again a joy to take my car to his shop. I recommend his services without hesitation for projects big and small.

Could be more honest with your customers. But the over all work that was done was good. Price was good 👍.

Jack and his guys were incredibly professional and top notch with customer service! My vehicle was extremely challenged but they were able to make it perfect with a little time and care! I have been going to Jack for years and I am very happy with the service and work that I get. I am not related to him, nor do I work for him. He is an honest small business owner. He does not try to you sell you on something you dont need.And best of all he does not overcharge and he will work with you on the price.

Great shop that is honest and fair. They have the best prices in town and dont recommend unnecessary work. They give you an upfront price and will work things out with you if needed on a case by case basis. It is a family business and they do speak another language, but it doesnt bother me, If they fix my car for a good price, they can talk in whatever language they want.

Such a terrible place, the jerry rig your car to work for a short amount of time only to bring it back for the same problem.. I was charged nearly as much as the car it’s self to have them not check over my fuel line or outing everything back how it should be.. had to take it somewhere else because jack the Greek just wanted my money and nothing more.. complete rip-off

I am roommates with Jacks nephew so I was expecting things to go well. I was in an accident and brought it to his shop. My insurance paid almost 10,000 dollars. My alignment is still sonscrewed. Has to be turned to the right in order to go straight. My airbags did not deploy during my accident but Jack the Greek took my air bags out of my car. They refuse to fix my car without me giving them more money. Liars and frauds. Thieves and cheats.

I take all my vehicles to Jacks. He will definitely work with you on what is needed and does not recommend unnecessary service. Relative to the one negative review on here, sometimes things happen, even right after a repair. Ive had instances when I was taking my vehicle to a dealership service center for routine maintenance, only to have to return within a few weeks for a very significant repair (which always seemed a bit too coincidental). And while I am sure that happens occasionally, at least I know Jack will focus on the issue and charge a reasonable price (often half of what I would pay at the dealership). Additionally, Jacks Garage does body work/paint, and they recently did a great job on a rear fender/quarter panel repair. I am not related to or employed by Jack, nor was I asked to post this review. I just feel that someone should address even the one negative review that is here and provide a strong recommendation.

I only take my Mercedes to him. He works on my wifes ford as well. Never over charges. Great guy and family there.

My sons car broke down. It was towed to Jack The Greek. He charged me $200.00. We picked up the car , and it broke down again, around the corner 5 mins later. I called JACK THE GREEK, after 5 hrs for a explanation of what he did for $200, that the car broke down again... He started lying to me about some bullshit short circut to the computer fuel pump memeory. When I told him Im a certified Auto tech , and what he just said .. is Bullshit. I live in New Jersey, and my son broke down in MD, is why it went to any garage, dont lie to me .Basiclly , the car left ... and broke down a second time. JACK THE GREEK...in my opinion... is a liar,he lied to me several times and dosent know what they are doing.Secondly.... I see 3 of the other reviews written, are too much Prasie. It Is Obvious , that JACK THE GREEK , wrote those reviews himself...LOL! .. how sad is that...

I always take my car to Jack the Greek, even though it is very far from me. He is reasonably priced, and guarantees his work.
