Amazing customer service. Very knowledgeable staff. Offered help the moment I came in. One staff saw me reading through every single label of vitamin c, and kindly came over to explain everything in detail and recommendations for what I needed. Went above and beyond! Had smoothies here on a few occasions during lunch time. Prefer to order ahead to pick up, was delicious, convenient.

I contracted the obvious “ick” aka covid-19. One of my friends called the store and talked to a guy named “Gary”who was super helpful and so kind. He set up a walk out pick up order since I couldn’t go in the store due to covid. It went flawlessly and I got what I needed to treat the symptoms I’m having. 10/10 for customer service and just an overall amazing experience. Thanks for being there for the community.

The prices are much higher compared to other stores nearby. The strawberries get moldy quickly. Questions or concerns are handled poorly and angrily by staff. I I feel more comfortable at Trader Joe’s, Ypsilanti and Kroger- all close by!

I stopped by today, I had a great expierience. Melissa helped me find everything. I take several supplements and they are priced competitively compared to other health food stores. They also have Raw juice available made with all Organic products. I will definetly being going back, everyone was very helpfull and friendly.

As a loyal Whole Foods patron, I was reluctant to give this place a shot, but it was well worth it! You cant beat their ample protein bar selection, and I love their paleo/sugar-free bakery options in the cafe. Ive also found that the friendly and knowledgeable staff go above and beyond in helping you find the best deals/discounts around the store (and there are a ton of discounts to be had). In a competitive grocery store market, Better Health does a great job of setting themselves apart. Big fan!

The staff is always really nice. But the selection is kinda limited, and a lot of stuff is very overpriced. Once I was going to buy a bag of grapes, but they rang up at $13.50, which is just insane. I had to ask the cashier if I could remove them from the order. Today, I bought some kombucha that was marked with a $1.50 price sticker, but realized when I got home I was charged regular price ($3ish). The 30% coupons they mail out are kind of misleading and useless because they don’t work on sale products, but most of the store is “sale” products which are marked mere cents down from very high prices. You can get the exact same products from fresh thyme a mile or two away for considerably cheaper.

Beat small market variety in town.

This store is great if youre looking for something strange like arrowwood powder, liquid aminos and tvp. But its very expensive so I wouldnt recommend getting essentials like rice, beans, eggs, etc from here. The customer service is fantastic though. Their hot bar always has great options too!

Clean, brightly lit store currently under soft opening in preparation for grand opening tomorrow at 8 am. The benefit here will be easy parking with a quick in and out potential to be capatalized on. Customers will love the clean new smell of operations in a new mall with large windows and a corner dedicated to sit down deli fare. The staff have give away bags for the big opening prepped, and ready to go. Being used to the smaller better health stores, I was encouraged by the wider selection of all normally stocked items. If you are able, drop by to support them. As usual, I dont know them and receive nothing from them.

Love this store - great products & attentive staff. Stopped by today and was assisted by Emily M - friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable in answering my product questions. Got everything I needed except for one product I usually purchase from them. They didnt have it in stock but I knew that going in from calling ahead. I left there knowing when the product was expected and will call ahead of time to confirm its arrival.

Generally a good experience there with helpful staff, but, it varies due to employee changes throughout the week. Also, I’ve noticed over the last year frequent permanent employee changes, which I interpret as not a good sign. I miss some of the staff that was there over a year (and longer) ago as opposed to the newer staff from this past year. The past staff seemed to be more engaging, helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and not as stressed and rushed as the newer staff. More employees (that are well trained and educated in nutrition and alternative health care) may help with that with the stress, irritability, impatience and lack of knowledge I’ve noticed more recently. Also the “sales” that get advertised and sent to us through notifications are somewhat deceptive if you don’t understand them. Most products that are popular and sell well do not go on sale but are advertised as “already” marked down. So I find I shouldn’t get too excited about when I see “sales” going on since they often don’t apply to the popular brands I frequently buy anyway. Sometimes it’s worth it to look for those same products, then, elsewhere — like on line on Amazon and other Health products websites (not always, but, sometimes). I do wish the Ann Arbor store had more variety and a wider selection like the store on Eureka Rd. in Southgate (which is more like a “Health food grocery store” with more choices).

Always loved this store! good health store for healthy people. they got great stuff on sale and they got free kombucha samples!

Never stepped foot in this store. Called four times, two of which were answered, “Better Health, please hold.” After several minutes on hold both times the call was picked up and then disconnected. The other two times there was a message stating that the number was not yet set up. I was calling to see if they had a product set that I didn’t have to drive to the store. Not sure when I’ll actually set foot in this store - I love the Plymouth location and was hoping to have one closer to home.

On July 1, 2015 I stopped to shop at the Better Health store in the Lamp Post Plaza. I have been a customer of this store for many years. On this particular day I had to ask if I could use the restroom. The sale girl said we do not have a public restroom, you will have to go elsewhere. I asked if she understood the differance between a paying customer and some guy that just walked in to use the reatroom. Being a senior citizen my need was not going wait long. She stood her ground, and I stated that I would no longer shop in this store if they couldnt show a little compassion for an old man. I now shop at the Vitamin Shoppe near Arborland, which incidently allows its customers to use their restroom. I will never spend another dime in the Better Health store again. Any senior citizen that boycotts this store will have my support.Frank from Ann Arbor

It only gets 4 out of 5 because there are times when theyve run out of products and not gotten them for a week or more. And when you take the bus, that can be majorly annoying.

Crappy customer service 💩 .And this cashier wouldn’t give me the guess internet password.said she only makes $9.25 hr and that I should talk to Management for password,I WANT HER FIRED NOW !!!!!!
