I love this place! I moved to the neighborhood recently and was so glad to find this little locally owned cafe so close by. I’ve been there several times now. I am so grateful for how committed they are to COVID precautions. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and efficient. They have Barry Bagels—best in the area—and I’ve loved trying all of their creative breakfast sandwiches. I’ve only had drip coffee there but it’s delicious. Such a cozy environment too—and an adorable wraparound patio with lots of varied seating for when it’s nice. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Quaint restaurant with comfy outdoor patio. I prefer to make my purchase and eat outside here but you are able to consume your food inside as well (there may be procedures in place, but its an easy courtesy for me to wear a mask when placing an order).I have only asked for the Chicken Pesto wrap here because I enjoy it so much! Personally, I have not found many tastes like it unless going to a place with Halal Chicken. Wrap, chips and a pickle! The wrap stays warm & juicy throughout consumption. The only thing I would request is to watch the seasoning on the chips, sometimes it is too strong and overpowers the rest of the food.I did also really enjoy my Cold Brewed Coffee from Moonwinks, tastes different than other places I have been!Definitely will be going back!

Food: All around decent food, a little pricey$$. Tuna sandwich on sourdough bread did not look or taste like sourdough bread. They forgot to put the pickle that was supposed to come with the sandwich. Minestrone soup had too much of an aged parmesan taste and it was a bit cold. Lox Bagel had maybe 1 whole slice of salmon could barely taste it. I consider myself a coffee connoisseur, Latte was probably a 3/10, the espresso tasted old.Service: Staff very apathetic and dry. If youre dining in youre allowed 30 min. One of the ladies asked a group of 4 people to start packing although no one was waiting for tables.Cleanliness: 4/5. The tables were clean. Bathrooms were clean yet no paper towel in the dispenser.Parking: big parking lot with tons of parking.

I get a Lox bagel sandwich ever couple of weeks. The quiche is also great, but they discontinued the one I liked most. The food and service is always everything you expect. The prices are very reasonable, and they have been a part of the community for over 15 years. A great place to meet up for coffee, a light breakfast or lunch, and even ice cream.I also admire them for taking a stand to protect their employees and customers during this difficult time by requiring masks when not eating.

A delicious gem worth a stop! My friends who grew up in the area insisted we visit and Moonwinks did not disappoint. The cashier - who’s name, unfortunately, completely escapes me at the moment - went above and beyond to ensure they could honor our gift certificate, which was older than their new system was able to recognize. Friendly folks and tasty offerings!

I’ve been going here since I was young. This cafe is amazing! The sandwiches and bagel sandwiches are very good, the coffee is great (love the dirty chai), and the baked goods are very good. All of the ingredients are very fresh as well (you can definitely notice the good quality in the taste). Prices are great. The owner is very kind as well. This is one of my favorite local businesses and is a staple of our community. A must try!!

I knew I was going to enjoy this place when I first drove by. Now that Ive been inside they dont disappoint. First lets start with the Cinnamon chip scone. Its so soft and fluffy its like a muffin top. Its also delicious. Hyperion coffee brand is one of my faves and the decaf brew didnt disappoint. They also have a bunch of games and kids books. I love the retro uno cards. The only little bit of trouble is they isnt a ton of extra space to get around between the tables so someone with a wheelchair would have a big challenge finding a spot. I didnt actually notice if they have an accessible entry. Ill update the post when I find out. Also staff are super nice. theyve got a few salads on their menu I cant wait to try next. And they serve Barrys bagels.

I had a massage at Balance Massage Therapy and Moonwinks had the perfect post massage coffee! I stopped in for my favorite there- the mocha and it was delicious as always. This is a cozy cafe that gives you a warm and welcoming feeling. Their food and drinks are fresh and the service is outstanding. The baked goods are amazing (from SugarBeet) and I honestly didnt know they were vegan the first time I tried them. The owner is really nice and I love that it is locally owned. The biggest issue I have is when they are busy on weekends. The food takes a really long time for stuff that is pretty boring. It all seems decently fresh and tastes fine but I wish there was a little more variety or interesting ingredients. Also, who doesnt offer avocado on a wrap?

I have been coming here for years. Love the ladies that are serving. I do have one compliant, the coffee cups and lids are terrible. I can appreciate sustainability efforts as I own a company to helps companies with sustainability for commercial buildings, but when your loyal customers who comes in everyday are complaining, it should not be taken lightly. Since new ownership of MoonWinks Cafe, I have noticed quality begin compromised. My husband coffee lid spilled coffee all over his shirt, right before a meeting. This happened to me yesterday, coffee spilled all over my dress. I did not want to write this review, as I have verbalize my compliant to the owner and some employees. It has gone on deaf ears. I hope this changes, if not, I will no longer get my coffee from MoonWinks Cafe.

I had a not great experience when I visited MoonWinks and wrote an unhappy review about their poor customer service. The new owner of the cafe, Josie, contacted me immediately, listened to my concerns, and went out of her way to set things right. I may not have had good service while I was in the restaurant, but I know from my exchanges with Josie that they are working out kinks and have a solid plan for training and improvement. I was very impressed with the follow through and attention to detail shown in her responses. I will definitely visit MoonWinks again in the future.

I stopped at this place today coming home from Ann Arbor. I ordered a tuna sandwich to go. Being extremely hungry and more errands to run I ate half of it in the car. It was so dry I had to wash it down with water. I said I was very hungry. After I finished my errands and returned home I opened the other half of the sandwich and it was just DRY tuna No mayonnaise mixed in the tuna and not even on the bread Just lettuce tomato and cheese.I have passed this place many times and thought Id like to stop. We went to Moonwinks for lunch. It was a cute place and we sat outside. Sitting there was pleasant and we had our dog with us. You go inside to order and they call you when it is ready. Two of us had salads and they were good. My son ordered a sandwich and asked for it to be hot, and the cashier said okay. But when the sandwich was ready, it was cold. It had not been heated at all. He went back and told them, and another worker told him they never serve that kind of sandwich hot! So he was disappointed and ate the cold sandwich. I think they could have heated it up for him, they had the ability to do so. The coffee was very good, though. I think the best thing to order there might be the ice cream sundaes and malts.

I was pretty excited to experience this place because of the good things I have been hearing, however, it seems that the cafe is under new management and it seems to have changed quite a bit(?)The cafe menu was very small for a coffee house - only about six or so drinks listed. A lot of items did not list the price and to be honest, the menu(s) were just a little confusing. So its probably just not a good first impression, the menus are probably being tested and revised from the new ownership, so its hard to give a definite rating as of now.In a few months I will revisit to when things are more steady and complete.

I got the poorest excuse for a sandwich here a week ago. Old ripped bread, a small dab of mustard covered by a small half slice of under ripe tomato, two small pieces of flavorless cheese, and chunks of bland turkey not slices. The turkey was reminescent of packaged salad turkey from the grocery store. The lettuce in the sandwich was a slice of the dark end of a Romaine bunch. This is the part I cut off and toss. The sandwich piece was ripped and bitter. I had requested no onions and the sandwich was loaded with them. I got this sandwich to go and was unable to go back to the cafe with it. I threw it out. I believe I paid $7.00 for the disappointment.
