Jack is an genius! Apart from being intelligent, professional, and honest, he is super groovy. It was worth waiting two month to drive from DC and take my kids iPhone for him to take care of. I dont miss much Ann Arbor in general but I miss people like him. He is super busy now but chatting with him in his charming shop is a do not miss. I wish it would take him longer to get the phones fixed!

I managed to get soapy water onto my iPhone 10 screen and the phone stopped working. When I powered the phone on, it would keep displaying the Apple logo in a continuous loop.I brought the phone to BestBuy, Apple, and AT&T to see if they could fix the issue and help me retrieve the data from my phone but none of them could. When I came home, I Googled the issue and turned to YouTube to see if I could find a fix and be able to retrieve my data but no luck. I filed a claim with my provider and received a new phone but I was still upset I could not retrieve the data from my broken phone.Then, I decided to hop back onto Google and look for an iPhone repair shop. The first iPhone repair shop I found charged over $300 dollars to retrieve the data and said it was not guaranteed to work. I continued my search and found 911 iPhone Repair. I read all of the customer reviews and found someone with a similar issue like me and Jack, the owner of 911 iPhone repair store, was able to retrieve the data for them. I immediately contacted Jack to see if he could help me and he had me bring my phone in the next day. I told him what had happened and he immediately knew what to do. He was able to get the broken phone on and transfer all the data to the new phone. The entire process took roughly 30 to 40 minutes. I am so grateful to Jack and his store for helping me!!! I have no idea what I would do if I didnt have his help. He is truly talented, helpful, and friendly! Additionally, he did not charged me an arm and a leg to fix my issue compared to his competitors. He really did replace my iphone Xr screen in like 15 minutes! Really cool guy and great service. He reassured me that if i had any issues that I could let him know and he would fix it. Screen looked and worked perfect.

I called ahead stating my problem and the person was able to diagnose the problem from my description. Then when I went in, it took all of 1 minute to take care of and the person said that they wouldnt charge me for it. They did say they liked google reviews though.

He literally fixed my cracked phone in front of my eyes in about 10 minutes. The other store called 110, but he just charged me 85!!! Please go here if you need to repair anything. He knows what hes doing and its super quick, and cheap. Please go here!!

Jack and his colleagues are AMAZING! I took my phone elsewhere for repair (before I found 911 iPhone repair) and the other place butchered it. All I wanted to do was retrieve the data because I failed to back it up myself. I was told by the previous shop it was was a lost cause, I’ll never get my data no matter where I take it to. Took it to Jack for a second opinion and he got all of my data! When I arrived Jack had my info on a hard drive which he helped me transfer to my computer, then made sure the data took and that my phone backed up! He took his time and made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend and have referred coworkers and friends to him.

I recently walked in to 911 iPhone Repair; this is the 3rd time i have done so. as always i was impressed with how quickly my turn came, and with the professional way my phone was repaired. the charge port needed replacing, and so did the battery. Jack replaced both very quickly. he also replaced the (broken) screen protector (left over from my last visit!), and my screen is beautiful again. i have never failed to walk out of this establishment without a smile on my face - in addition to always fixing my problem, jack is just the right amount of friendly.

I walked in assuming that it would be a difficult repair and I would need to give up my phone for a week with the hardware damage it had, but I brought it into Jack and he took approximately 10 seconds to completely fix the issue (he had a special tool that I wouldve never had access to or thought to buy) and he did it at no charge. I would recommend him to anyone. He was nice, professional, and good at his job--a total breath of fresh air from going to Apple or AT&T, in my experiences.

This place is awesome! Jack is a very polite, patient, and knowledgeable business owner and a phone repair specialist. Got my phone fixed in 10 minutes. Also, I was at the office on Saturday but he was not there. He felt bad and offered to fix my camera for free. Although it cost very little but it is still a very nice gesture.His office is also NOT the typical phone repair place that you would think. In fact, it is more like a coffee shop with an awesome vibe. There is cute furniture, whole wood table tops that Jack built himself, Marshall speaker with excellent jazzy Brazilian music. Broke the screen on my pixel 4 which is relativley not as common. They got the parts next day and for a more reasonable cost than others in the A2 area. Quality of workmanship is good and my phone is back to new. Also, the vibe of the repair shop is pretty cool. Would recommend and when I break the screen again will have no hesitation going back.

The service was incredibly fast (I walked in without an appointment and was out within 20ish minutes), the repairs were high quality (new battery plus charging port), and the prices were phenomenal. It was overall an enjoyable experience, especially because Jack was very friendly and fun to talk to. Would recommend to anyone.

Brought in an iPhone X to get repaired. Was un repairable. Came back the next day to pick it up and Jack didn’t even have my name or info saved anywhere. My phone was disassembled and he couldn’t find my battery. He said “even if I find an old one I just want to get it back in there for you.” That was about a month ago. He still has my phone. Whether it’s inoperable, bricked, or whatever, just communicate. I even asked if he could fix my current phone and he said yes and took my info for the second time on a scribble pad. Haven’t heard back since then. I wasted $10 on parking for two days, and kinda had my phone ganked. I mean, broke or not, lemme get it back.. and how bout some communication. At this point it’s not even worth it for me to go back and pay another $5 to park and get the phone. But .. like what’s goin on with the phone .. and the parts for my current phone.. sheeshEdit: He did call me shortly after this review was posted. To his credit, he did explain what I wanted to know, but at this point I said to him that it would be more hassle than worth it to drive 60 miles round trip to have the situation rectified. My main reason for my 1/5 rating is a lack of communication, not having my customer information retained x2 days. I can appreciate that his microsolderist took a look at the phone, and that he didnt charge me, heck I was planning to give the dude a $20 if he had called me back to the shop to pick up my dead phone just because I appreciated his time. I wish no ill will, this is just my honest opinion. Ive let it marinade and Ill give you 2/5.

They immediately discovered that I had broken a charger inside of the port and easily removed it. The whole process took less time than it did for me to park and walk over to the shop! I completely shattered my phone. I knew there was a phone repair shop down the street, and so I went there. I didnt realize that it was an iPhone repair, and I was worried my Motorola wouldnt be able to get fixed.Jack looked at my phone, and said hed be able to fix it. Unfortunately my phone isnt a common phone, so he didnt have the parts on hand. However, he was able to get the needed parts shipped overnight, and like that my phone was fixed in less 24 hours.Jack was also very professional, answered all of my questions, and gave off a welcoming and friendly vibe. I came in to fix my cracked and unresponsive screen. After going to one place my whole life, back where I live, I am never returning to there again! This whole place has an excellent and chill vibe, and the owner (Jack) is a wonderful man. In 15 minutes, I not only got my phone screen fixed, I got to learn about the imperfections and mistakes the last place did (including a shoddy made screen and removing all the screws without replacing them, just to have the screen click/slide in) and meet other people. Somehow less expensive than my old place, I got to come in the next day to get my screen protector fitted for free (none were in stock the day before, when I got it fixed). I would recommend this place to all iPhone users looking for an honest, fast, and enjoyable experience in getting their phone fixed.

This experience was so great that I would buy myself a $200 plane ticket back to Ann Arbor to get my phone fixed here if/when I break it again. Forget Apples and Oranges, forget Genius Phone Repair, forget Batteries Plus. My iPhone XS got randomly stuck in a bootloop. I went to every store in Ann Arbor. They either said they couldnt help or would quote me hundreds of dollars without even diagnosing the problem. I thought it was shady when they gave me a quote without even looking at the phone. Some of the other stores would even recommend each other even though I had already been to all of them and knew they couldnt help me.Jack had me in and out in legit ten minutes at a fraction of the cost. What a great place! I was having issues with the charging port on my phone and was fully expecting to spend $100 to get it replaced, but I brought it here and turns out it just needed a good cleaning, and they did it for free! I highly recommend 911 iPhone Repair and Jake. Amazing customer service and very affordable. Jake is so knowledgeable and such an expert at what he does. He truly wants to help his customers. When I called to ask about a screen repair for my Google Pixel 2 he informed me that a screen replacement would cost close to the price of getting the same phone on swappa. Mind you this information could have cost him a sale but if it was right for me that was all he cared about. He also quoted me at half the price of 3 other cell phone repair shops I called in the area (their screen repairs were quoted at more than the price of replacing the phone!) As he repaired my phone he gave me amazing advice on what to consider when I decide to upgrade my phone including how easy or difficult and expensive it would be to repair different model cell phones. This is extremely valuable knowledge that would have taken me hours to research on my own, but he was able to explain and convey to me in the short amount of time it took him to repair my phone. I am very grateful to Jake and will be sending my friends and family to him anytime someone needs a cell phone repair.

Cannot recommend highly enough! I have typically gone to Genius in the past for phone repairs, and despite having some poor experiences, when the LCD I got replaced at Genius a couple weeks ago failed (after what wasnt even a bad drop to the floor!) I was ready to go back. It was only because they werent open on Sunday that I found my way to 911 and Im so glad I did! I called them, got an appointment, and within 90 minutes of the phone call was walking out with my phone good as new! Jack explained that the chain repair stores use poor quality parts to save money; for the same price I paid at Genius (actually a bit cheaper because he had a promotion going on for screen repair!) I got a top quality replacement (plus a tempered glass screen protector for free!) and it only took 15 minutes. Genius charges $20+ for the screen protector AND $20 for while-you-wait repairs, so in total I saved about $50 and got a part that will last instead of breaking the next time the phone takes a small tumble. Jack was really kind and knowledgeable, and explained the process and the tests he ran to make sure everything was working. The shop also has a nice atmosphere and complimentary beverages while you wait. Its never fun to deal with phone repairs, but I honestly felt great about spending my money here instead of a chain and only wish Id discovered it sooner! Thank you!

I had a very miserable experience with 911 phone repair. I came in to get my phone repaired due to a broken screen. The first issue is that when you arrive, they require you to call to get serviced. This seems counterintuitive to me given that my phone is broken so I cant call. I was then told to wait while he repaired my phone once i asked a stranger to call him for me. He then tells me he doesnt have the part to fix my phone so he tells me to come back the next day at 1:00 and he will fix it. I come back the next day at 1 and run into the same issue of having to track him down. Once I track him down again, he tells me he doesnt have the part, AGAIN. A full day was wasted trying to get my phone fixed here. Completely unreliable service and very unprofessional.

A headphone jack broke off in my S8 plus audio port. 911 phone repair was the first place I called and they were super helpful over the phone. Said theyd do it for free and that it was totally possible and easy to pull it out if I had the right tools. Unfortunately, I couldnt get there that night and they were closed the next day.I took my phone to 2 different repair shops the next day as 911 was closed. One place told me $30 to pull it out and that Id probably have to buy a new port. Second place said $80 flat for a new port and that if the jack was pulled out or even attempted to be pulled out by me, Id cause even more damage to my phone.I went home after the 2nd shop with a set of dentists tweezers and pulled it out, and it works perfectly fine.Although I didnt end up taking my phone in to 911, Im very grateful that they were the first store I called and that they were so helpful and honest with me. If I hadnt called them first, Id probably have fallen for the straight up lies I was told at the other 2 stores and spent $30-$80 that didnt need to be spent.

I’ve repaired iPhones myself since model 4 so when my teen cracked their screen again on a holiday weekend I thought we’d have to wait. Jack said he had the part, would be open on the 4th of July and in less than an hour the repair was done on the iPhone X at a fair price. Tremendous service I’d recommend without reservation.

Very impressed with this place! I needed my screen replaced on an iPhone 6. Called ahead and they said I could come down anytime. They fixed my phone while I waited and I had a nice conversation with the repair person. The whole thing took 30 minutes. The screen matched the quality of the original. They also give a 90 day warranty, which is great. I highly recommend them!

Wonderful experience! Needed a camera glass replacement on the rear camera, which Apple quoted me $350 for. Jack offered to do it for $30-40, which was immensely more affordable. However, since there was dust in the sensor that couldnt be cleaned (my fault), after spending an hour replacing the camera glass, he determined that the final quality wasnt up to his standards, and decided to charge me nothing for the entire job. Really nice person, really great prices, will come here again if I decide to replace my entire camera or for anything else.

Jack discovered my screen wasn’t cracked but that it was a screen protector with a crack. Since I had left my device with him he could have easily fooled me and I would have been none the wiser. It’s very refreshing to find a business this trustworthy! Definitely worth the trip downtown to work with someone this genuinely honest.

I wiped out on some icy pavement and completely shattered the front of my phone, rendering it totally nonfunctional. Id pretty much accepted that I would have to shell out hundreds of dollars for a new phone, but I rushed over to a nearby coffee shop, took out my laptop, and frantically ran a Google search for phone repair shops. The first thing that struck me was how high the ratings were for 911 Phone Repair. Given my past awful forays into iPhone repair, Ive become well acquainted with the scams seemingly inherent within the business. I know what youre thinking. Is this guy killing off everyone who doesnt give him a perfect review? No! Hes the real deal! For starters, he happily fit me in for a phone repair, even though I didnt call in advance and had less than an hour before my next class. The office looks like something out of an interior design magazine. He was incredibly nice and thoroughly explained that my phone had previously been repaired with inferior parts. He completely replaced the screen with genuine Apple parts and was sincerely enjoyable to talk to. Jack was awesome! We brought in our iPhone 7 that had just fallen and had a cracked the screen. He fixed it within 15 minutes. Was very professional and pleasant during the entire process. Shannon was extremely professional and had excellent product knowledge. I felt very comfortable with their pricingand service.He was very personal as well.
