Matts the real deal. Just a good dude that pours his heart into his work. Super passionate about car audio and super passionate about doing things the right way.I had a 3-way active Audiofrog/Helix/Kenwood/JL install with DSP tuning and custom sail panels. Had a couple hiccups along the way due to my Tacoma head unit not meshing well with the Helix DSP, and at one point, Matt even offered to let me borrow his truck while mine was in the shop. I mean, who does that? He doesnt know me. I couldnt believe it. The gesture spoke volumes about his commitment to me as a customer.All in all, super happy with the build. It sounds incredible and the custom work is superb. I highly recommend.

Thank you Matt And Premier Car Audio for installation of my remote start and backup camera on my 2015 BMW. I’m excited to have remote start in preparation for the winter. While I’m good going in reverse using my spidy senses, it helps to have the camera to see items such as a low yellow pole when I reverse into a parking spot. Spoke to Matt over the phone prior to scheduling an appointment, and he was able to competently & confidently answer all my questions. He was patient, friendly, and provided great service. I wanted to have a remote start installed on 2018 BMW X3. Where everyone else said no they said Yes, and confidently assured me of the quality & performance of the equipment. Install took about 6 hours as previously discussed during phone consultation. Since I already was having that done I said mind as well add some bass to my sounds. So they recommended a great sub woofer that I couldn’t be more happy with. From start to finish the service was great. I will definitely be referring them to all my friends & family.

Matt (the owner) is awesome. He’s super friendly, extremely knowledge, and an all-around cool guy as well. He installed a custom subwoofer and amp in my car and did an incredible job! Highly recommend this place for boat audio improvements. We removed the stock system from our boat and trusted Premier to make it sound and look great. Everything looked factory finish (or better). The sound is amazing even in open air lake environment. Had a lot of fun working with Matt to design this system and it turned out great. Did an amp for (6) 6.5 kickers and another amp for the 10 free air subwoofer. Sounds great!!

I’m very impressed with the work from Premier Car Audio. When I was having an issue with my car battery, we thought it might be due to the remote starter they had installed. Though we quickly learned the remote starter was fine, Matt still spent over an hour trying to diagnose the issue for me free of charge. He certainly went the extra mile with his support. Fantastic professionalism and knowledge. After a bad experience with a shop local to me in Lansing, I extended my search beyond Lansing and chose Premier Car Audio after seeing all of the positive reviews and images showing off past work. Matt and his team were able to fix the issues caused by the previous shop along with performing additional upgrades I wanted pretty much exactly as I wanted them. They also did a great job building a custom box for my sub that fits perfectly into the rear quarter panel of my 5th gen Honda CR-V, so I get the bass that Im looking for while hardly sacrificing any storage space (see picture).Matt also took plenty of time to discuss upgrade options over the phone and via email in the weeks leading up to my appointment. This is THE place you want to go to for a stereo upgrade. Do it and dont look back.

I just had a Pioneer DMH-C5500NEX head unit and IDatalink Maestro system installed in my 2015 Subaru Forester with Harman Kardon. Matt had to spend a lot of extra time to get the automatic dimming and antenna booster working, and address the buzzing from the Metra Floating Kit that held the screen. When I offered to pay more, he just waved his hand. When playing FLAC files from the USB Audio Player Pro app on my phone, the OEM Harman Kardon system sounds amazing! I couldnt be happier.

Matt is one of the good ones. This is old-school, brick and mortar knowledge and customer service that you come running back to when your discount website parts screw you! Open Saturdays, covid conscious, polite friendly and knowledgeable. 6/5 stars.

I was waiting 2 years to get my backup camera replaced. The owner did such a thorough and professional job. I dropped off my car before work and picked it up at the end of the day. I will return for any after market needs.

I went here to switch my sub woofer box and wiring from one car to another car, and it was by far the best decision I made. The owner is a very nice and respectful guy who knows his way around car audio. The sub woofer sounds way better, and was installed more properly than at any other car audio place I have ever been too. I have been to many different places for car audio including, Best Buy and Mickey Shorr, and I was not impressed at either places. Premier Car Audio will professionally take care of any of your car audio needs.

This place is awesome. Its fairly small, so when I walked in I thought they wouldnt have a good selection of car stereos, but then I realized that rather than having several boxes in stock of just a few different stereos, they actually have one or two boxes each of tons of different stereos, so its actually a great selection from cheap to expensive. I kept throwing curveballs at Matt regarding my specific install, but each time, he knew what I was talking about and they had what I needed. Dont buy online; support local business. Matt is the real deal and he deserves your business. Go talk to him; you wont regret it.

Matt and staff were great. I bought a dash cam/rearview mirror camera and wanted it installed right with the wires hidden. I also have a radar detector I wanted wired as well. Matt gave me a fair quote and much to my suprise came in about $100 under the original quote. Id definitely go here again if I needed anything done to my car.

I would not buy any thing from this crook ! He took a $ 350 deposit on a stereo job when he had all the parts already and didnt need to order any thing so when i come in at 3 pm he said it was too late I was suppose to be there at 11 am which was a total lie. He said he couldnt see me until october 27 and when I requested my money back he refused. I made a complaint with my bank card and already have a credit so hopefully he wont get away from his bad business principles.

I stopped by for a quote on remote starter on my 2010 RAV4. Less than 2 hours later no longer have to go out in the cold to start my vehicle (I was very lucky another appointment was a no-show). Very pleased with my experience. Highly recommend.Edit #1 Aug 2019 - The Remote in the RAV is still going strong. Also I took my 2006 Mustang GT to have the speaker replaced as they didnt sound right. Matt was able to tune my system as well as find where Best Buy had miswired my Kenwood receiver and now the stock speakers sound great again. Additional now my backup camera works with my Kenwood receiver.Edit #2 Oct 2019 - Had Matt install a 2way remote starter in my 2006 Mustang GT and could not be happier with the results.Bottom line - When you need a true professional for your vehicle electronics this is the place you go.

Matt is the man! Clean wiring install for my sub, amp, capacitor and distro block. Was cool with me bringing in some of my own parts (sub, box, power wiring). Professional, approachable even if you have limited knowledge of car audio. Gave me pricing and options up front and was very courteous and patient with all my questions. Worked hard to determine a wiring issue which turned out to be my alternator most likely needs to be replaced (it’s an ‘01, it’s definitely time). I’ll be back when it’s time to switch this 10 to a 12. I would recommend Premier Car Audio to anyone and everyone. Thanks again Matt!

I was a walk in non scheduled customer and Matt gave me undivided attention, worked me into his schedule that day/evening. I picked up my car first thing next morning fixed correctly. After reviewing the service manual technical wiring diagram for my 1996 Lincoln, Matt improved upon the factory wiring of the signal from the new amp to a myriad of speakers. His technical, personal and value added approach gets 5 stars and would recommend Matt anytime.

Matt provided quick and honest service. My airbag light was on, and he was able to determine what the issue was, removed the signal, and now I can drive on the roads with better safety. I needed to get a backup camera, Nav system, and remote starter installed in my new Class B Camper. Initially, I was going to use Best Buy for all these systems and even ordered the products online. When I met with the installer he informed me that they couldnt do backup cameras in class B vans. So, I returned the purchased products and contacted Matt at Premier Auto. One quick call and he said sure, no problem, we can do that! I took the van in the next day and 8 hours later I had everything installed and working perfectly. Not sure how he worked he magic with the wiring but it was a great install. I highly recommend Premier Auto for any auto, truck or camper install. He does what others cant!

Matt did an outstanding job installing my Pioneer 2440NEX & backup camera. He was very knowledgeable, as he answered all of my questions regarding both items and the install process. Matt installed a remanufactured 1987 radio into my 87 Buick plus new wiring and 6 speakers. The newly installed radio only picked up a few stations so he took it back to fix it but that didnt work. So on the 3rd attempt he installed a new one. Done and done and done with excellent customer service. Im taking my next project to him also.

3 things. 1. I called to see if they sold posi-lock connnectors and his wife said come on down hell hook you up. Matt gave me some free wire connectors that were actually pretty pricey. I was looking to buy but he gave em away.2. Great selection not huge but he has the top brands whole line-ups in store and the prices are competitive to online retailers. I scored a kenwood mini amp for ~100$ cheapest online is 150$.3. Matt let me check out his work area and ask him questions. Looking around you could tell he wasnt cutting corners and was using quality materials.Ill be back for an install in the future no doubt.edit: I came back for an install and once again my expectations were met and then some. This is where you come for peace of mind for quality work at a fair price and a great sounding system.
