Nice family owned operation. My tail light on my truck broke and they were able to find me one at a very reasonable price. They can give you a quote right over the phone and save it in their computer to reference later.

These guys are awesome. Im a mobile mechanic & have dealt with them many times throughout the years. They have excellent prices & stand behind the parts they sell. Ive purchased engines, transmissions & many small parts. Never had a problem. Call them & Im sure they can help you find whatever you need for a fair price.

I recommend not coming here, I asked for a 2017 Ford focus radiator set with a radiator support and they gave me a 2014 set and told me it would fit, later on I figured out it was not the same as the 2017 set at all and everything was different

Sold me a bad transmission that never worked had a warranty to cover it then would not refund my money. Called to talk to the owner/manager to try and rectify the situation and would never even come on the phone and said he was not talking to anyone about the situation. I cant believe a business would handle a problem like this! Will NEVER deal with this business again!!Update on the response below:The transmission was put in by our team ofProfessionals that do this work on a daily basis. The coolant was from the front impact of the car that you took the transmission out of. Since then we have put another transmission in with absolutely no problems. We tried to handle it with you in a professional manner and you wouldnt have it. We deal with a lot of car salvage yards on a regular basis but unfortunately in this case we just dont agree on how this matter was taken care of.

Carey and his crew are responsive, helpful, and well organized. When you think salvage yard you expect to see vehicles strewn about with grass growing up around them. Not here. Everything in rows and catalogued. They offer new parts as well!

Found Mike and his team to be great to work with! They were prompt in calling me back with information about the part that I was looking for. I ended up going with a different yard, but had a good experience with these guys and thought Id share!

I dont know how to say this, because you usually dont think of junk yards is a wonderful place to go! I went in looking for a part for my 2008 automobile and they were very friendly, helpful, and wonderful to deal with! I was recommended to try to find my car parts here and I am glad that somebody told me about this wonderful little junkyard. I would love to walk around to see what kind of vehicles they have behind the fences, as I am really curious. If you need something for your vehicle that is not brand new and you have to get from the dealership I would try Town & country Auto parts!

Staff on Monday went back on a deal I made with another staff member (Casey - who wasnt there on Monday) in person on Saturday (junk truck for a set of rims and tires). When I showed up, they had taken the tires off the rims and one rim had a damaged tpms sensor. When I asked about the tires they said theyd write a $300 check and keep the rims if I had an issue with it. I had already signed over to the title so I was stuck with the rims and they refused to honor the deal. I had written down the details of the deal and showed that to the person at the desk but they didnt care. Will not be doing any further business with them and will not be recommending them to anyone in the future.

People out of the jungle work there. I called inquiring about a part. I got the initial price of 75 dollars, then a was transferred to someone else to see if I can get more discount, they doubled the price instead. When I asked why they hung up the phone. I called again to see if that was by accident, that same person (I think the owner) said (yes, I hanged up the phone and I will hang it again. and he did.. strange...There is no confusion about the store, it was the first one I called and I was happy it was close by in Ann Arbor. I also thought the person might hang up the phone by error and gave them the benefit of the doubt and sought clarification. The clarification was “I hung up the phone and I will hang it again because I pointed out that the price was doubled the time it was supposed to be discounted. Just avoid!!

Decent prices on the parts you need. Honest and informative workers. Reasonable and efficient service. They’re also pretty well stocked and will likely have the part you need for just about any replacement or repair. If not, they’ll order it for you and usually have it in a day or so. Overall, no real complaints on my end. I’d recommend this place Town and country 5stars

Walked in on a Saturday morning to purchase a part that I had seen available through a parts database. I was greeted a courteous gentleman at the counter who verified that the part was in stock. There was a wait time for the part to be pulled. but it was understandable given that it was a Saturday. I was updated on the status during my wait . The experience at town & country was good

Worst salvage yard ever! Gave my driver the the wrong and incomplete doors. Gave me the run around for a month due to them not having the missing pieces, and the Manager Mike hung up on me. Ended up having to buy the parts again. Offered to settle our differences by giving me a part less in value than the missing parts they owed me They refused. Small claims it is.

Customer service was great, had the part I needed at a fraction of the cost. I sent an email request and had a response very quickly. I love the fact they are open on Saturdays! Give them a call first and they will hook you up! Happy to have you Guys in Ann ArborTown and country you guys rockstar

This place is fantastic! Ive been there several times and have always felt they fairly and accurately set prices at or below market value. Mike, the owner, is one of the most honest people I know, and hes one of the nicest people I know too. The business isnt set up to do service work on customers cars but will occasionally just to help someone out. Ive purchased several second-hand cars from him over the years - in fact, my mom is driving one right now - and my brother has bought and driven several over the years too. We trust his cars because we know that he doesnt sell them until they have been completely checked it out and are deemed reliable. He and his father operate that way because its fair, and because they wouldnt want one of their friends or family to buy one somewhere else and have it break down on them. Mike is some kind of mechanical genius too. You can tell that he gets satisfaction out of knowing how things work together to make a car run properly. Over the years Ive called him (trying to stump his knowledge) to ask him about a sound my car was making. Most times he was able to diagnose the issue(s) over the phone just based on my description of the symptom or making the sounds myself. This is one of the old school places in Ann Arbor that represents how business should be conducted: honestly, fairly and with integrity.

I highly recommend town and country Auto Parts. Called several places looking for a motor for my Subaru Not only were they the cheapest, super clean low miles and friendly service . They were very professional and informative. Could not be happier now that Im back driving my car

I am hoping this review saves someone the trouble of dealing with this business. I am an ASE certified Master Technician that has been dealing with this business for over a month now and they have still not resolved my issue. Our shop had to locally pick up the engine and they gave us a hard time about not supplying the core with timing covers. Later we would find out they had not installed the correct covers on the engine we purchased from them. They also assured us the engine was in good condition. We later found out the timing gears were rusty and the timing components had been exposed for a long time. More importantly, once we inspected the engine, we discovered it had jumped time and bent 6 valves, leading to a very expensive machine shop bill that we were responsible for covering. It has been a month since we last contacted this business about reimbursement, and while they assured us they would respond promptly, they still have yet to make it right. Will never do business with this company again based on this experience alone.

Shady business. I called up and was quoted the price and told the market was down for used alloy wheels. When I arrived and unloaded them, I was told the price they quoted was too high and the owner was unwilling to give me anything for them....but the counter employee said he would give me 70% of the price he quoted over the phone. I told him that was shady business and breaking a verbal contract. The previous owners used to be fair and honest. My experience today was like doing a street deal in a foreign country. Very disappointing.

Only reason Im putting in a review is because Im stuck on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck to take my newly bought used Subaru to a mechanic. If you buy a used car, definitely have it inspected by a unrelated mechanic no matter what.

These people are despicable and will do anything to get a dollar, even if that means risking the lives of others. I was told I didn’t need to bring my own mechanic as they had one on site and had him already check the car out. I asked multiple times if anything was wrong with it and was told it was fine and in good condition. They even kept the car an extra day saying they wanted to make sure the belt was fine and to check the why the coolant and brake lights were on. Since I bought it, it’s been nothing but hell. The lights never went off and I learned because they never checked. I spun out on the highway, almost hit two walls on opposite sides, and did a full 540. Miraculously, I wasn’t harmed and didn’t collide with other cars or barriers. After that incident, I was afraid to drive it again, but I had to take it to a mechanic. On the way to the mechanic, the brakes went completely out and I almost hit two cars, got hit by a truck, and almost hit a pole trying to avoid hitting other cars. Even the emergency brake didn’t work. When I took it to the mechanic he wondered how I had even driven it in the first place and asked if I had gotten the car for free. He said that $100 for that car was too much to pay for. He told me the car couldn’t have ever been properly checked. The brake shoes and drums, wheel cylinders, rotaries, and the calipers were all completely rusted on all sides and it was no wonder there wasn’t a response to the brakes. He said they didn’t even check the brakes because the back ones were terrible. He didn’t want to work on the car because he said even with all of that, it still might not work. He suggested I consult with the people who sold me the car first. I text the woman who assisted in selling me the vehicle and told her of all the problems and she told me to send the diagnostic from my mechanic and how much they would charge me on Monday to her boss. I subsequently requested the diagnostic that was allegedly done prior to purchasing. She said that she was told it was fine and that I’d have to ask the owner. I called to talk to the owner and they said he was busy and would contact me after. I figured after a few hours they were avoiding me, so my father called and inquired about the diagnostic and the owner admitted they had never looked at the brakes and tried to blame me for why they went out. They didn’t want to tow it back and fix what they claimed was fine. They didn’t care that I almost died three times in two days. Do not waste your money.

Called ahead of time to check inventory of a part I needed and they had it in stock (supposedly) went on my lunch break to pick it up and was told 10 mins to retrieve my part .... 45 mins later I agree to pay and pick up after work since I wasted my lunch hour there.Show up 5 hours later just to be told my they could not find my part ! What a waste of time and no apology at all other than tough luck !

Called about buying a replacement rim. He told me that I have a full size spare if I want a single rim, and to buy new aftermarket rims if I wanted a set. In other words, these guys are honest and helpful. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for used auto parts.

Went to buy an air box for my kia soul, I talked to Mike (nice guy) and we agreed on price over the phone for lower air box and vent piece. When I got there the worker (Sam) and I guess the owner claimed the vent piece is not part of the lower air box and charged me extra even though the air box was broken a tab. and I was waiting 30 minutes even though I called before coming!_________________________________________Some one from the Junkyard name Kalad just called me at 4:45pm and he was upset because I left the negative feedback above. He wanted me to return the part I purchased I told him Im not going to drive 40 minutes to return the part . He harassed and insulated me and my family. This is not how to do business!!!________________________________________It seems like the one who replied below is missing the point. Its not about the price more than customer service. Has he called everyone who left a negative feedback and harassed them like he did to me?!!

This place is a typical wrecking yard, and isnt neat or spotless, but if youre looking for a deal on a used part, you cant go wrong with their price or service. The employees here are knowledgeable and will help you find what you want and will offer suggestions. I needed some old tires once and they mounted them for me and charged next to nothing, saving me hundreds of dollars.

I think I just got ripped off. I needed to get hubcaps for my Pontiac vibe and the man here charged me $80 for two used hubcaps. Maybe I shouldve known better, (or got a second or third opinion) but I guess when you trust people (especially businesses) you just expect them not to cheat you, especially when they see that you are a single parent, already struggling to make ends meet as it is. When I was leaving Id asked for a receipt and the man seemed initially reluctant. When he was typing one up for me, another man who worked there said out loud I cant believe you just charged her $80 for 2 used hubcaps and the man who charged me quickly glared at the man who said that and said something about me also getting 4 valve caps for my tires outta the deal. THAT was an awkward moment. And suddenly I felt stupid. But hey guy, if you tricked me outta $$ thats on your conscience now, not mine. WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE. :/
