Love my results from laser hair removal. Other places require 2-3x the amount of sessions that Avissa does. Their machine is top of the line; fast, quick results. I havent had any hair growth in 5 months. So happy! Meg is amazing.

I go to Megan she is one of the best she takes her time she’s very accurate she really made me look amazing!! I went to see her appoint and they guessed my age at 21 I am 42 and you could tell before I started getting treatments , And now I look flawless. You’ll have to go in and see for yourself. I had a plastic surgeon do treatments on me Six years ago and Megan did better than the plastic surgeons I will keep coming back!!

I received laser hair removal from Megan, specifically on my underarms, which I had heard from others was probably the most painful place to get it done; so I was a bit nervous.Megan talked me through the entire process before we started, including how long it would take for each underarm, what it would feel like, and how often she would take a break to apply cold packs (as is always done during laser hair removal). That really set my mind at ease.Once she started the procedure, she was very attentive, continuously checking in to see how I was feeling. She had cold packs at-the-ready, and was extremely efficient in her technique with the laser; keeping my discomfort at a bare minimum - thank-you!The entire experience was professional, friendly, efficient, and most importantly - effective!Thank-you Megan and Avissa for the wonderful experience. I highly recommend Megan. If you have any concerns before getting a procedure done, she is very knowledgeable and will take the time to answer all of your questions - she did for me!

I never share anything about my skin because I’ve always been so embarrassed. For years I had cystic acne, deep acne scars and extreme hyperpigmentation. A little over a year ago I decided to do something about it and Megan has transformed my appearance. I was just sitting here looking at photos from a year ago and I’m literally in tears because when I took those photos I felt disgusting and now I feel beautiful and I just feel like I need to share for anyone else who doesn’t know what to do or where to turn because I sure didn’t until I found here. It’s a painful and long process but if you don’t start now it’ll just be longer and longer until you get to feel beautiful too. 100% recommend Megan, 100% recommendation this establishment.

I really gave this place a shot. There were multiple times where I would get charged for stuff I didn’t get like underarms or lip. What really had me was when the responsibility and negligence from one of the workers resulted in my skin getting burnt. She forgot the spray which made the process extremely painful. I told her i was in bad pain and she just gave me breaks. She claimed that because I moved a lot she messed up the pattern and resulted in my skin burning. Didn’t ask me about changes in history and blamed my birth control for the pain . I swear to go if I get any scarring on my legs I will sue this place.

Wonderful first time experience!! Very knowledgeable staff and amazing place. Everything was kept very clean and maintained. My treatment was done my Megan and she is fabulous! Absolutely wonderful experience with her, she is super friendly and inviting. She took her time and didn’t make me feel rushed which was really nice for me seeing as I’m a stay home mom. Thank you so much for everything Megan and I will be back!

Let me say that they are scam don’t waste your money 💰 it’s like 15 minutes they barely do much to the skin it’s a mini hydrodermabrasion Emilia is very friendly but the business they lie about being a Hydrodermabrasion waste of money don’t do it at least they should specify they are doing a mini one but no they say it to you when you ask is this it?

April appt: I arrived at Avissa for my laser hair removal consultation. Megan led me back and said she was prepping the machine for the treatment. I was surprised because I thought it was just a consultation, but ok. She asked why I didnt want to do upper lip too. I said I was thinking about it, but wanted to see how the chin went. She then started going over my upper lip with the laser without asking while saying, A little extra never hurt anyone! I didnt say anything because it sounded like she was doing it for free? It was confusing. But no, afterward she charged me for both chin and upper lip. I shouldnt have gone back after that, it was very shady.May appt: Walked in for lower face laser hair removal appt. I had forgotten to call from my car. Megan said, Next time, call from the car. I apologized and said I forgot, then she pointed to the front door and rudely said, Theres a sign on the front door! I was annoyed. She tried to lighten the mood in the procedure room. She was chatty, but dropped a few f-bombs and talking about the skinny b*tches she works with. It was unprofessional and I decided not to go back. I left a negative review on Google and mentioned the service she tacked on at my first appt and the swearing. The owner called me the next day and apologized and offered a free service, which was nice. He said to schedule with Emilia so I could avoid Megan, which I did. I deleted my Google review because the owner tried to make it right and I wanted to give Avissa another chance, and I thought I could just schedule from then on with Emilia. I thought the issue was resolved.June appt: Walked in for my appt, Emilia led me to the room. She left for a few minutes, and when she came back in Megan was following her! Megan said, Hi Cassandra, Ill be supervising your procedure today. She immediately held up receipts for my first two appts and told me I scheduled both for lower face. This confrontation was clearly planned. I corrected her and said my first was for chin only and she added lip without my consent. She said, Well you didnt say anything during the procedure. Wow.. I told her I was very uncomfortable with her being there and that I made this appt with Emilia to AVOID her. Megan argued with me more and referenced the deleted Google review. She told me she had reported my review and Google had deleted it because You used my name in the review, which is illegal. Now, for the record, I deleted the review NOT Google, using an employees name is NOT illegal, and it does not violate Googles policy; she was attempting to intimidate me and it honestly felt a little threatening, as in if I use her name in another review, is she going to attempt legal action? It was next-level bonkers. I had been lying on the table and she was hovering over me arguing in retaliation for a bad review that I had even deleted. I told her this was ridiculous and walked out. Ive never had an experience like this before at any business. It was surreal!Later I spoke with the owner. He apologized and offered a free service. He said he was going to have a conversation with Megan to discuss her behavior, and he said he would call me back to let me know the outcome of that conversation. He never called me back. There was no apology from Megan, nothing. No consequence from what I can tell. But hey, it’s not my business, it’s his.I had initially made the appt for a free service, but then canceled because I just want to be done with this place. The combination of Megan’s aggressive behavior and the owner’s lack of communication was enough for me. There are too many other medical spas in Ann Arbor that provide the same service and deliver with professionalism.

Literally just finished up my laser treatment.....Megan is AMAZING! She educated me and was very patient with my anxiety. I never felt uncomfortable. She answered all my questions, and even my fiancé who was with me wants to get his back done! THANK YOU MEGAN! I’ll never shave again!!!

So I should preface by saying I have been to so many different estheticians and med spas (all over the country). Michelle is literally THE BEST esthetician I have ever met. I have been struggling with adult acne out of nowhere and Michelles touch has tremendously helped my skin. My friends and family have all commented about the difference in my skin. Michelle is literally INCREDIBLE and I cannot recommend her enough. She is not pushy, is very accommodating, and genuinely cares about her clients skin. I am soooo happy I found her and have been recommending her to everyone!!

I want to warn those that care that the staff are not all vaccinated. One person, Emelia, appears to have had COVID-19 vaccine, or at least will answer in the affirmative that she is.

Michelle is the bomb. Very knowledgeable, nice, and pleasant to talk to. She answered all my questions and guided me through the whole (Aqua) facial. She was realistic and honest about everything, and made you feel comfortable and at ease. Definitely recommend booking with her. And whoever the gentleman was (I think the owner??) was pretty cool too!

Had an appointment at 11:15 called to let them know I was here was told to wait in the parking lot and they’ll let me in once they’re ready. Never got a call waited about 45 minutes, I’m sorry if they were busy I would rather have rescheduled than waste my time especially since it was my first appointment kinda unprofessional

I booked a microdermabrasion session with Michelle and I was extremely impressed. She was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. She went above and beyond to answer my questions, explain each step of the treatment, and provide recommendations for my skin. I will definitely be back!

I was not sure if I want to do signature Aqua Facial, but I was amazed how my skin felt ! I am so happy with the results. My skin is glowing now!No pain or discomfort ,...feels so good !The staff was the best ;Friendly , professional and charming. I most certainly doing this again with Michelle.

I saw Michelle multiple times once, for a waxing another for microdermabrsion, and another time for peel. Every time I went Michelle was so nice and incredibly informational! She answered all of my questions and then some! I loved the results I got from every treatment there, I highly recommend Michelle if you come Avissa she is the best!!

Update: Avissa added more soft ice packs and now the treatments are so easy! Looking forward to having my legs done next!I just had my second laser treatment at Avissa and I cannot say enough good things. Michelle G. totally put me at ease and it very attentive to make sure I am comfortable and the process is as painless as possible. The facility is very always spotless and the staff is very professional, but personable. The ability to have the ice packs pre-treatment to numb the area is a GAME CHANGER. Seriously. My only suggestion would be to purchase some soft packs to make the process easier. With the ice packs it was virtually painless and has definitely made me feel like I would get more lasering done in the future. I am already seeing results and I am excited to finish the process and move onto other areas.

Michelle is the best esthetician Ive ever had the pleasure of working with. Ive tried many places in the Ann Arbor area, and no one takes such pride in their job as she does.

We were beyond excited to find this location for our daughter who has allergies to most waxes. When we learned that Tanya has left and they no longer use the hard wax, we were very disappointed. When we called and shared that sadness it was quickly brushed to the side and blown off.

My skin is greatly improved from the microneedling and micro dermabrasion. Loving my results!

Ive been going to Avissa for my eyebrows for about a year now, and I dont trust anyone else! Pretty affordable ($16 for threading) and Shu Shu is the one to ask for!

Got my eyebrows threaded here and by far the worst service I’ve ever gotten. My eyebrows are uneven and now I have to wait for them to grow out to get them redone. If I could rate this a 0, I would because I’m greatly unsatisfied. Don’t go here to get your eyebrows done.
