My favorite Bagels in Ann Arbor! We love Bagel fragel- ever since it moved to the location on Washtenaw it has been a frequent stop for our busy mornings. The woman who works there is so fast and kind. She alone makes coming back worth it but the Bagels are absolutely delicious too!

Best bagels in Ann Arbor! Maybe in Michigan, but I wouldn’t know because why go somewhere else lol. I love their cream cheese flavors too, amazing variety, although all I ever want is the vanilla cinnamon chip one. So good. I wish it were feasible for them to be open 24/7, the morning hours are tough for me but that’s breakfast life

Found this place because Panera stopped selling sausage with their egg and cheese sandwich, and boy am I glad I did. Small locally owned shop with phenomenal bagels. Looks to be a new location from what I can tell. We got sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel and they were so good we had to start eating them in the car, couldnt even wait to get home. I will definitely be back and will have to try the fragel next time.

Only place you can find this warm soft melt in your mouth cinnamon sugar deliciousness! They also have sandwiches with bagels and drinks but I never get past the one and only Fragel!!! The staff has always been very present and quick. It’s a must stop if your in town!

I visited this place for the second time. The bagel was delicious, but the owner was so unfriendly that I felt bad.You need to be kinder to tourists who do not speak English.

Excellent food, but this place could improve its operations to offer a better customer experience. The bagels, cream cheese spreads, fragels, sandwiches, and other products are great here. However, the shop seems to only be staffed by one employee, and it sometimes takes a while to place an order. Also, if you call in an order for pickup, your order will be made before you arrive; however, there is no pickup counter and you are stuck waiting in line until the customers ahead of you place and receive their orders.

Excellent bagel flavors with an even more excellent cream cheese menu.The garlic veggie was chunky and amazing.I had the 6 pepper and plain, pictured.For under 2.50 for a bagel with cream cheese the price is right so come on down!Will have to try the fragel next time.

Fresh bagels, bagel sandwiches, and tasty fragel’s which are apparently a must try when you are in Ann Arbor - I’d recommend at least getting one! Everything is made to order and tastes fresh. Sooo many spread options which is nice. Service is good too. It feels like a small, locally owned place. Coffee is average.

Theyre not the absolute best bagels in town, but theyre good, cheap, and they dont skimp on the ingredients! Clean place, quick service. Cant complain.

Great place to grab breakfast/brunch. Very friendly service. Went for the famous fragels(fried bagel dough with raisins, rolled in cinnamon sugar). They arent fried ahead of time which is great. For a cold cloudy day, they serve as a great pick me up. Veggie bagel was also made on the spot and served piping hot, except it could do with some s&p!!So overall 3 stars because I wasnt blown away.

Not at all impressed. Stopped in at 8:30 a.m. on a Thursday; bagel was not fresh at all. You could tell that it was not made that morning. Overpriced for size and quality. Just go to Kroger, you will get a fresher bagel at half the price. Just really disappointed.

New to Michigan so I had no idea fragel was a thing and not apart of the name. If you’re not from the area then don’t expect a bagel when shopping here, instead take your two hands and form a circle with your thumb and index finger than divide by 2. The plain fragels are small, compact and taste of what you’d expect to be a flavorless bagel, just bread that has the feel of a bagel.I put 2 stars because I believe 1 stars are for absolute kitchen nightmare situations so barring any health issues this place is teetering between closure and potential

This place is great! Being fans of Bob’s Burgers, we call it “Patricia’s 77 Bagels”, which isn’t at all accurate but that’s how it feels when you walk in. So many options! I’m not going to tell you my favorite because the bagels tend to sell out quickly so get there early and support a local business!

We love this place. Cream cheese reviews: garlic veggie is great! Chunky in a way that you dont get in store bought. The lox cream cheese is great. But the Olive cream cheese is amazing!!! The raspberry & the strawberry cream cheese are both sort of whipped. Its not thick like store cream cheese. We love the everything, asiago cheese & cajun garlic bagels. The chocolate chip ones are great too.

Bagel was tasty but wanted it scooped and they wouldnt do it plus asked for well toasted and got lightly toasted. Buy them and take home so you can fix them the way you really want them.

Bagel supply was low when we went about 10am on a Saturday but that wasnt unexpected. Ordered a couple of breakfast sandwiches on garlic bagels and they were very salty but otherwise tasty. Would like to try again when there is a better selection, but well have to get there earlier I guess :)

A small and friendly shop serving a variety of bagels and sandwiches. I personally recommend the Vanilla Cinnamon and Cherry Almond bagels, as theyre excellent with sweet or savory spreads. Try their breakfast sandwiches as well, as theyve many veggies and meats on tap to fit your cravings.

I stopped by here with my wife and kids. We all got something a little different. All the items were delicious and we will definitely be returning.

Just tried to go and place what would have been a large order, and when I got to the door, the one customer already inside was NOT wearing a mask. The staff there was continuing to wait on him and chatting with him.The store is a small enclosed space. Im new in the area and was looking for a new bagel shop, it wont be this one. If they arent even attempting to enforce the mask mandate who knows what else they are letting slip through the cracks.

Friendly fast service every time! They have a bunch of unique bagel flavors. I love trying a hot bagel sandwich flavor combo each time I go. However, nothing beats the fragel, with or without one of their sweet cream cheeses. I cant leave without one!

Everything here is delicious, the woman who runs the show is a bagel angel, here to bless us all with amazing bagely goodness. fragels are always hot and fresh, great on a cold day especially. If there is a line its worth the wait. I highly recommend the dill garlic cream cheese.

I have loved fragels all my adult life. I dont live in A2 anymore but when Im in town its where I go. For fragels. It also used to be for their tuna sandwich but they dont have that anymore.

The fragels are delicious and true to the original taste from the 1970s.

I generally prefer a more dense bagel than what is on offer here. Still, they have a wonderful array of flavors (only wish more whole grain/whole wheat options). I also really like the flavored cream cheeses. Their bagel pack (13 bagels + 2 tubs of cream cheese) are a great option for sharing with your work. Do call ahead if you want to count on this: sometimes people come and clear them out, especially on Fridays!Their sandwiches are also quite tasty.

I was back in Ann Arbor for a visit and hadnt had a Fragel since I was a kid. So good! My only critique is that the sugar coating needs more cinnamon. Otherwise just like I remember!

Was not able to try a fragels, so the two stars is for the experience, not the food.Their hours list 3:00 p m. as the close of business, however they do not apparently take orders for the last hour. I get that the process is may be time consuming, but please dont list hours for when you arent taking orders, it is misleading. Drove a bit over an hour only to be told I could order bagels/fragels for the following morning.Quite disappointing.This may be explained somewhere, but for someone just looking up the shop by name and rushing to beat the posted close of business, it would help if the hours indicated a close at 2:00 p.m. instead.

Bagel Fragel is a beloved institution here. But their rent has been arbitrarily raised and they are searching for a new location. I really love Bagel Fragel and I hope they relocate to be very close to my home so I can go there frequently.

I’ve loved this place ever since I moved to Ann Arbor from the east coast, where there are famously fabulous bagels. LOVE the bagels, LOVE the cream cheese (my favorite combo is vanilla cinnamon chip cream cheese with the vanilla cinnamon bagel 🤤), and the idea of a fragel is just genius. The day they deep fry one of the vanilla cinnamon bagels I will die because I will eat 50 of them and explode. Also the staff is beyond friendly. We went there today and there was this little family of baby ducks 🦆 and it was so cute how worried the staff was about them being around cars. Anyone who feeds me and is nice to animals is an A + person in my book.

They have really good bagels and breakfast sandwiches. They microwave the egg with the meat, but it doesnt taste microwave, the egg is usually quite good and not overdone. The ownership is very kind and friendly as well.

Ive been coming to Bagel Fragel for years. I didnt even think I liked bagels that much until coming here, now I always find myself craving one of their bagels and will drive all the way across town to get them. Seriously no other bagel compares!!! Staff is always really nice and the food always tastes amazing.

If you want really fresh bagels this should be your stop. They are wonderful... Puts Panera to shame!! And its right across the street. $13.00 for a dozen bagels with cream cheese!

Had my first fragel about 30 years ago, and still love this place!

For two weekends in a row, I’ve come here during hours that they claim to be open. Both times they were closed with no explanation in the door. Is this place even in business? I’m done. They obviously don’t need my business. Never going back. Complete waste of my time.

Love bagel fragel they have a great selection of bagels and cream cheese, Their smoothies are delicious I recommend the strawberry one sad to see this place close but hope it re-opens soon.

If you have never eaten a fragel then you arent a true local. A treat that no one outside of Michigan has ever heard of, and a great treat. It is a raisin bagel fried and coated in cinnamon sugar. Very messy. I have been known to drive 20 plus minutes just to get a couple. The bagels are good too, and they have many cream cheese and bagel sandwich options. It is hard for a bagel only store to stay open, and it is a testament to the staff that it has been open so long up against major chains.
