This store is a budget crafters paradise. They have tons of supplies that you would normally only be able to buy in bulk, like buttons, fabric swatches, string, stickers, paper, (and more) and a treasure trove of jewelry sold by the ounce. I got all the things in the photo for less than $2 total. So cheap! It doesnt even seem fair. But Ill be donating some of my own jewelry back, so it evens out 😁 (Note, it can be hard to find earrings with pairs, but thats fine by me cuz I can use them as necklaces or for making hair clips or wear them asymmetrically!) They also have larger items like glue guns, trophies, baskets, bottles, and a bunch of other random things. My friend bought a lap harp last time we were there. Its such an adventure. And its really nice to know that there is a place where I can take my random junk that I decide I dont have a purpose for so that it wont go to waste. It might be exactly what someone else needs to complete their project. How fun!

This is a craft paradise!! You can find ANYTHING for your craft project!! You can even find crafts to do that you never thought about doing!! This is a diamond in the rough!! You can also clean out your current craft room and donate to SCRAP!! I highly recommend stopping by for some fun!! Also, it cost me much less than a craft store!! The people are friendly and if you want you could help out and volunteer there!!

NEW LOCATION ! (As of November 9th 2019). They are no longer down by Costco but over on Washtenaw Ave right next to Once Upon A Child. This is a genius move! I am always stopping into the kids clothing store for things and here is another perfect stop for craft supplies, busy board making, hot glue gun projects, sewing supplies, sensory bins with little treasures, bits of this and bits of that...Go check it out!

The people who actually work here and not volunteer are the rudest people. We were in there for about 30Minutes and the two ladies never said hi at all. When I went to check out the black haired lady with tattoos all over her arms she tried to scam me. The price on the box said 25 cents a stem and she tried to charge me for 3 stems and a large bundle $10. When I explained what the box said she got rude about it and refused to go by what it says. So all the items I had on the table I walked from. She didn’t care. I’ve been to habitat and many places where they honor their prices. This place doesn’t. It’s no wonder they had to move into 1/3 of a building than the older one and all the drip on there is more trash than it used to be. Their advertisement on Facebook is false. Never coming back. Which as the lady at the register would probably say , that’s fine.

This store has a little bit of everything. Things other people might consider junk until you see how the workers have set them up to be cute crafts. You can find lots of paper, old CDs/ vinyls, binders, boxes, canvass and sometimes new stuff too. Either way, worth checking out.

I normally spend a lot of money in your store but my last two trips have put quite a damper on my enthusiasm.Your fill a bag bags have gotten smaller while prices haveΒ gone up a lot per bag. Moreover, the choices in fill a bag area have narrowed quite a bit and youve moved many of the usual items into the individually priced area and raised those prices too - well beyond reasonable for recycledΒ items.Lately it seems you are less interested in getting things recycled than you are in making a substantial profit off donations.I, for one, have decided your original vision has been left behind in favor of profit. This might be why youve seen such a large drop in shopping.

I drove all the way from Grand Rapids, when I heard they needed people to shop to keep it open. When I arrived during opening hours the doors were closed and the lights were off. No sign or explanation. A few of us were out there waiting for a while. We called scrap and sent Facebook messages and heard nothing. Im really disappointed that I drove 4 hours for nothing. I understand that things happen, but at least have a little common courtesy. Leave a note or something.

Im a repeat customer, love this place! The staff are always inviting and helpful. You can find just about everything you need for crafting, or some hand-me-down goodies. The shelves are always rotating with what is donated, so its not a surefire thing youll see the same thing twice. Just think a thrift store, but for crafts!

Our 8-year-old had an excellent birthday party here. Kamron Reynolds did a great job picking an appropriate craft project, inspiring the kids, helping out when they got stuck, and drawing out our shy son. Kids and parents all seemed to enjoy themselves. The Scrap Box made all the arrangements easy and were responsive when we had a couple questions. Wed happily do it again.

I love this store and all of the recycled products they sell. However, the reason Im leaving a 2 star review is because of the staff. Im not sure if its because Im a minority or not, but the staff definitely treats me differently than other customers. I am almost never greeted at the door (only one woman greets me), while customers that follow me are greeted with hellos and smiles. I am not offered any assistance or told of any new products/sales like other customers. When I go to checkout, I am usually ignored until I say something (again, one woman is an exception). I do not feel welcome at this store. I continue to shop here because I cannot find certain products anywhere else, but if a similar shop opened I would take my business elsewhere. I am a cashier, and I would never treat my customers like this. I treat all customers the same, with a bright smile and a hello. The staff at this store could definitely work on their customer service skills.

Incredible store for craft materials and second use craft things. The best deals are paper, cardboard, stamps, materials for projects, fabrics, buttons, ribbons...). Their facebook page has pictures of new arrivals. Great prices per unit (so it might be a place children can buy things with their collection of pennies). Few items are not well priced (almost dead markets as example) tough but you can leave them there or ask the manager for a better price.

My kids and I love this place. I give them a budget and we usually walk out with so much neat things. Its like a treasure hunt for things you probably dont need but want. I love how every time I go in I find something new. Prices are very reasonable on most things. My kids usually go straight for the gems and fill a bag stations. We brought home 3 bags of foam one day and I dont even know why πŸ˜‚. My dog also likes when I go, I come home with tennis balls galore! 😁

The staff at this store are rude and treat customers differently. Im Latina, and they clearly favor their paler customers over me. They never say hello, always question where I found items, and question if the things in my bag are from the appropriate areas. Everytime I shop here, theres a problem with a price or an item was in the wrong spot. I am not a thief, and Im always honest as to where I found items. But the staff always treats me like Im trying to rip them off. Im done with these folks. Ill take my business elsewhere.
