I dont know how, but a supposedly-new pencil sharpener that I bought from here somehow was already used by someone(there were shavings inside it.). Whats more ridiculous is that the pencil sharpener package was sealed with glue and stamps to disguise into a new product. Also, many of their products displayed on the racks were unpacked and taken by customers. They also dont have many things. What kind of stationery store doesnt sell a notebook?????????? This was my worst experience in the US as of now.

This store looks shopped over. Many of the general supplies are sold out consistently week after week. The sales floor is understaffed, and received freight is still on the floor over several days.

So, I went there today with my son to pick up an online order for one item. When I got there, the line inside was very long (all the way to the back of the store) so I waited in line and the line was moving pretty quickly so it didn’t take long. I purchased a couple of items that were on the way to the checkout counter and figured I could ask the cashier to grab my 1 item. She cashed me out then called someone to help me with my online purchase. She then told me to wait at checkout 7 for a cashier to come to the counter. I waited maybe a minute or so then the online shopping worker came up to me and told me to wait on the opposite side of the counter. She asked for my name and looked it up then said, “ma’am we JUST got your order an hour ago and it won’t be ready until after 7.” So I responded, “well, I already purchased it and I know where it’s located in the store, can I just grab one and you can scan it off since I already bought it??” And she said, “we have 30 orders in front of you and the most we can do for you is you can buy it and wait in line again then go online and cancel your order.” Which made NO sense at all to do since I already waited in the line and all she had to do was scan it off quickly after I went to go grab it. So I left the store with my son...not even 10 minutes after I left, I got a text message stating that my online order was ready for pickup!!! Absolutely ridiculous, pathetic and horrible customer service. So clearly, she lied to me and for whatever stupid reason, she didn’t want to walk 4 aisles from her register to quickly grab my online order.

Nice store! Friendly and helpful workers. Lots of items to see, arts and crafts projects, science projects, great for decorations and ideas.

The nicest staff ever!!! Huge shout out to Halley, Leonora, and all of the lovely women whose names I didnt get. Seriously the best craft store ever. Plenty of staff around, all of them knew there stuff, and actually walked me to the aisles to help me find stuff. In addition, when I had some pretty specific idea of a craft, Halley helped me find just the solution.

I wish they would stock faster! But I love this store.

I work at Michaels arts and crafts...we have everything for the crafter no matter what your craft is...I found lots of yarn there...the shawl in the picture is just like the one i knit my daughter

The staff is kind of helpful but theyre not very attentive or looking for you in the aisles to answer questions or provide feedback.The checkout is fast during the times that theres few people there.The woman who wrapped up my gift basket for me was helpful, she did a sufficient job.

Ordered product online and received email stating my order is ready for curbside pickup. When I arrived and called the gentlemen who answered said they dont do that anymore. Long story short is he was very rude and called customer service next. Well they didnt seem to care but did refund my purchase. You would think that employees would be extra caring/gracious during the covid time especially the customer service line. First time last time shopper.

The store itself its fabulous and they always have good deals and sales. DONT BOTHER CURBSIDE PICK UP. they always mess up my order, i order a lot of cardstock paper. Some paper have similar name and they always give me wrong on. they are careless and lazy about it. Its better go to buy it yourself.Other than that the store is amazing!!!

I took something here to get it framed and my experience was very pleasant. The framing people seemed pretty knowledgeable and were very helpful in picking out the frame and whatever other options I needed to pick. Price was pretty standard from what I could find at other stores, and there was a sale so I ended up paying a little less in the end. Definitely a good experience.

Love this store in general but Don’t order pick up because they always get your order wrong !! They never pay attention on details . For example I ordered 2 different named of red card stock and they put same one . And another day the cardstock paper color I needed they said they didn’t have it but when I went to the store I found like 8 packs of same color. Smh it’s no point - just go in and get it yourself . The service is always great. The staff are always eager to help you find what youre looking for and advise on creative ideas.There are usually great coupons online as well. I would advise looking up Michaels coupons before you go to the store. Itll help you save a lot of money at already decent prices. This is a highly recommended craft store.

Get ready to be over whelmed with so much stuff. They have so many things for you to pick from, depending on what you like in the flowers department. Dont be in a rush, go when you can take your time.

The store experience was nice enough. Unfortunately they did not carry what I was looking for. I needed fine tipped dry erased markers. They had a very small section of dry erase markers. It was probably like 4 or 5 hooks worth of markers. And the only difference between them were the brand. The colors, the size, how many were in the package. I do enjoy their section of pens though. There was not an associate anywhere on the floor for me to ask to see it they had any online or in back stock and just decided I would leave. The store itself is very nicely set up and clean. But this trip was not successful. It put quite a damper on my opinion of the store. Especially since I found the dry erase markers at Walmart.

My perspective on Michaels is a bit unique because I worked there as a kid and Ive shopped there as an adult. I like the variety of choices for art supplies and crafting. Michael builds floral arrangements and wedding gifts. They frame you art for you. #canvasandcoolers art party this Saturday! 4pm

This is Michaels to its finest. They have everything you could ever need. The staff is very helpful. I had an issue with a gift card purchase and they cleared it up very quickly for me. Very friendly and very quick to help if you need it

I ordered for pickup and the woman at the counter just wanted to get through me and talked so fast I could barely understand her. It would make sense if they were busy but they were not so I felt a bit pushed off like they had more important things to do.

This store features a convenient location and ample parking. The selection of picture frames is very good. The art supplies available will get you started and of okay to good quality. The place where the store lacks is in selling supplies for more complete do it yourself versus partially done projects. For instance, the option of matte board, foam core board, or mounting boards are limited in type and size, at least that which is available on the rack, on line options do exist through them.

It was great. I stopped in for a work project. I found what I needed right at the door in the first two isles. Jess the cashier was very helpful. She helped me setup a rewards account. Ive alreay received a welcome email.

A great craft store. Always fully stocked and they have fun classes/activities. My husband and I went to the Valentine making classcand had a great time!

Michaels is a great hobby and craft store. Their selection is great and prices affordable. Finding a store like this is getting harder these days, and this is a real gem in a town that prides itself on the arts.

This store has some of the most friendliest staff ever, and thats accounting for the fact craft stores are usually a friendly community. I like that there are sales and coupons, but man, things tend to ratchet up the bill fast. Thats a problem of the brand though; this individual store does its best to be helpful despite the cost. Thankfully, staff always seem to know what Im talking about when I dont have the exact language for it and also know exactly where it is, despite the size of the store. This is my go to place for when Im feeling craft-y.

Not many stores still have paper for scrapbooking so I was glad some colors that should work.

Nice location and they have different merchandise then the Brighton, MI store. what I liked is the way the lines are not one big winding line. People dont realize how difficult that is for people that are handicapped to walk through to get to a cash register when there may be no one in line.

The sales were great and I got a 20 percent off that. The staff was more than helpful. By joining the members club, I got the extra 20% off.

Staff is a mixed bag of wonderful and meh. Its frustrating for the web-site to say it has product and for it to not be available in the store. I wish they would remember they are supposed to carry a better supply of art supplies than the other big boxes.

This store recently got a much needed overhaul. Its good for deals on art and craft supplies, but I never know for sure that theyll have what Im looking for. This is my favorite place to buy frames. Frames are well organized, come in a lot of sizes, and the quality is decent, ie, theyre wood and glass, not plastic and plastic (Im looking at you, Ikea)!

Fun place to shop for crafting supplies. Always want to start new projects every time I go.

The quintessential craft store, this Michaels is known for their staff always being present and amiable. Ive gone to this Michaels for many years, special ordering wood pieces for projects or just stopping in to pick up crafts. Theyve always had what I needed.

I have had multiple bad experiences with cashiers here at A2 Michaels. I come in here every week for my job, we spend lots of money at this store and I have had multiple cashiers give me a hard time about using our tax exempt form. I don’t understand why it is so difficult to be polite and courteous, when we spend $1,000’s of dollars at this store. Please encourage your employees to treat all customers with kindness and understanding rather than frustration at having to do “one more task”.
