By far the best place to go when your wanting a new vehicle Christian and Kalli we’re really good at making sure I had everything I was wanting they didn’t try to upsell me or nothing they took their time to make sure they really listened to what me and my fiancé were wanting and for price range payments etc…. Went to check a Jeep Renegade. Asked specifically not to hard check my credit since I am new in the country and still building it. They said they could provide me with an estimate anyway. Went back home and found they had checked my credit anyway even when I had refused to sign a document to authorize them.On top of that, their credit agency offered me to trade my 11k car, plus 3k down, plus 72 installments of 500 (36k). In total, 50K for a 28K car. I know I am building my credit in the US, but those rates are just abusive. I explained I was not going to trade my car after all.Today, I get a text message from the dealership asking if I was still in the market for a Jeep Renegade!

Customer service was great when you spend over 40 thousand for a vehicle , but still waiting for the title ! I can no longer drive my truck because the in transit tag has expired 15 days after I bought it was told paperwork would be mailed by then . Dont really know what to say about this except I live 900 miles away . Driving back is not an option as I live in Colorado

Had an issue with engine revving up and not going anywhere, like it was in neutral. Was told to come in when they open and they will do an update. Since I just bought it they said they would fill up the tank for the inconvenience. I thought that was very generous of them. 2 hours into them plugging it in for an update I find out they are on the road with my pickup. Service person said Didnt you want us to figure out the problem? Since I was already running late for a process I though would take maximum of 30min. I said I need to go soon. They brought the truck washed and NOT filled up. I dont know why they washed it. I asked if they did the update and was told they didnt know what I was talking about and it only gets an update when there is a recall. So all together 2 1/2 hours and nothing got done and didnt get what was promised. Wish I would have known it was going to go like that because I would have just went home.

We’ve given this dealership the benefit of the doubt since before we even arrived. We made an appointment early in the week to come test drive and purchase a truck on Friday 9/20. The sales rep we were dealing with knew we were driving 3+ hours to the appt, he called us the morning of saying they did a last minute inspection on the truck and it needed some work. Cool, I’m sure some dealers wouldn’t have even disclosed that let alone fix it. He said it should be done when we arrive to shortly after. No problem. We got there, did paperwork. Processed everything for our trade in. Ran through financing options and after market purchases (all without even driving the vehicle yet). We went to finance to finalize paperwork and the finance worker was finally the one who was willing to push to get a test drive done. By this point we’ve been at the dealership 5 hours and haven’t even driven the truck yet. Our sales rep Ken was apologetic but would disappear for long periods of time with no update. We waited another hour to drive the truck after being told it was done. Finally drove the truck and signed finalized papers. There was no true compensation for the 7 hour wait. We never complained once.We were told we would be contacted by a locksmith to have a spare key made. Once we were contacted the locksmith told us we would have to drive the three hours back to the dealer to have a second key made and they cannot do mail a key like the dealer suggested. There has still been no resolution to that issue. By now our Iowa temp tags have also expired and we cannot get Illinois plates until the dealer sends the title to the bank and we can take the title from the bank for licensing. This has been going on nearly a month and dealer had not responded to 10+ various phone calls and voicemails about clearing up the title issue or the key issue until today. And even today we are getting the run around, transferred to various departments within the dealership and no one has answers. It’s hard to believe that this is the first time this dealer has sold to an Illinois resident and this has been an absolute mess. All in all our experience was pretty unacceptable from the first phone call about the truck needing “unexpected work”. If the title and key issues could be resolved in an expedited manner that would at-least salvage part of this experience.

The service was awful treated me like I was second place waited hours and still didnt get my car sold or did it get my trade in. the only thing they had was overpriced vehicles with super size monthly payments stay away from this car dealer I dont recommend this to my worst enemy. Bonus they didnt even offer me a water or a coffee.

Loved my van that I bought from Roger. However I noticed that is was very loud when it was idelling, and have Roger a call 5 days after I drove off the lot. He told me to go ahead and come on in and have the parts department look it over. The guy who was helping me let me know that it needed a new muffler before it was sold. Also let me know that the muffler wasnt a part they had in they would order it and give me a call on Monday. On Thursday I called to see if the part had come in, I was told it was in and they can schedule me for an appointment. The appointments going to take 24- 48hrs and I would be without a vehicle for that time. Its going to take me 2 weeks to have time to get a backup vehicle arranged, at my cost. Appointment is scheduled for the middle of the month on a car I have not owned for 3 weeks. I wish this was communicated at the start of the auto buying process, so I could have looked around for a vehicle that didnt need work.

I traded in my 17 Dodge Challenger GT for a beautiful 19 Ram 1500 Rebel on Friday. My sales rep was Kaylyn, this was the first time I have worked with a female Sales Rep and I got to say its the best experience I have ever had with a Sales Rep at a Car Dealership. She was full of knowledge about the product, She was laidback during the test drive, She answered my questions about the buying process, took me to my bank location to get a cashiers check for the down payment, she washed my truck, cleaned the windows and swapped my plates. Even uses her personal apple computer to help customers more efficiently then a PC would. She has an extreme work ethic. The only con to the experience at the dealership was with the sales manager as he would not negotiate down the sales price but I was able to negotiate the trade in value of my car. Nile in the finance department was really nice to work with, I normally try to bypass as much as I can from the finance department because they normally push to add a bunch of extras but he did his job the best that could of been asked of him. If you are looking to test drive a car and/or buy one please see Kaylyn. She will treat you like family.

Update- After emailing with Roger the general manager, he took care of this matter much better than the person my husband spoke with. I am satisfied with the outcome, even though it did take a negative review, and will be a customer in the future.Watch your tints when you get sold a vehicle from here. Got pulled over and a ticket after 2 years of having our truck and the tint was illegal. Called and they said we can sell it however we want. Thats fine if you want to sell the vehicle like that, but at least LET THE SELLER know that the tint is illegal in the state so that we could take it off BEFORE we got a fine!!!Great thanks! Wouldve done business with them again for a new vehicle but not anymore.

I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee with only 60,000 miles and could not be more pleased. It had most of what I needed like Bluetooth, good mpg, and All Wheel Drive. The dealership had a price they wanted for it and it was in my price range but there were was a few features in particular it was missing.I really wanted a remote start application that could work from anywhere and some security features to protect the most expensive purchase Ive made to date. The sales representative offered to throw in those features without increasing the price along with extended warranties to protect my investmentI walked in needing a car but hesitant about buying one. The representative ensured I was getting a great car because he knew he had what I wanted.

Bought 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan from my dad recently and the drivers side sliding door jammed up, would not open. Usually use more affordable small mechanic but took to dealer for this one since I transport precious heartbeats daily and need to be able to get them out of car seats quickly just in case. Wanted to make sure its done right the first time even at typically higher dealer charges.Made appointment ahead and Trenton was my advisor. Was frustrated it took more than 24 hrs to start work after I dropped it off but they are doubling the size of the shop so cant deduct a star when they are actively fixing the issue.Very clean facility and above avg communication, Trenton called to keep me informed. Good idea for advisor to walk customer to cashier rather than just dumping into another queue with someone with whom we have not dealt. Could be good to add text updates since we cant always take voice calls while we pretend to pay attention at office mtgs.

Amazing experience. I went in not knowing if I was for sure going to buy. After driving the car I wanted I realized I wanted a similar vehicle and was able to test drive that and find out I wanted it more. I then was working on the financing part which took a while however it was because both myself and the dealership worked hard to get the best deal that made the most sense for both of us and I got a better deal than I thought i had agreed upon! Over the past number of months, I had been researching the market for a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. And this is going to be my first new car purchase. When I went to Dewey jeep in Ankeny I was initially looking at a 2021 Rubicon Unlimited. After some initial discussions it was not in a price range that I was comfortable with. Cooper recommended the Willys model, which was more in my price range, however it was at another dealership. But I really wanted the Rubicon. After discussions with that other dealership and that vehicle no longer being available, Cooper asked if I’d be open to the Rubicon model if we are able to get it to a price range that I was more comfortable with. Over the course of the next 5 to 7 days, Cooper was patient, ask me questions, checked other dealerships in hopes finding something that I would enjoy and was in a price range I was comfortable with.Ultimately, I ended up with a Rubicon that I originally looked at and ended up being a price range that I was very happy with. Cooper also assisted me in getting what I thought was the best trade-in value for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler that I wouldn’t of gotten anywhere else. This was my first experience at Dewey jeep in Ankeny, but I won’t be my last. I appreciated the patience and follow-up Cooper had through the buying process.

Today I drove into the dealership with a friend, just to browse. There was a gentleman walking in the lot, so we rolled the windows down and flagged him down. He was eager to make a sale, but 100% not pushy. Christian readily shared tons of information about the vehicle I was considering, without me having to ask too many questions. The finance lady, Stephanie, also was great and super friendly. I truly felt like they were trying to help me, more than push a sale. Will definitely recommend. 2 stars is for the Pacifica we bought that we love from here! After that our experience here was very disappointing. First of all, our salesman gave me the impression he hasn’t actually had to “sell” any cars recently. I get in 2021 most people find the car they want online themselves, and with the limited availability of vehicles to purchase a lot of people are just handing over their money. But, our salesman was a train wreck. His communication was horrible, after we purchased the van he promised a quick fix on the body (which took 4 days) and promised to have it detailed (never happened- he texted me saying he overslept and was sent home for being late to work so it never got done). However, the service group was awesome! Very communicative. Financial lady was great as well! Just expected a lot more quality of service from them after writing a pretty large check. All in all I would just not recommend this place to friends or family due to our experience.

Found the advertising and integrity to be lacking. Asked staff if advertised list price was valid. Only after getting to final stage of completing deal did they reveal I did not qualify for all the rebates. Believe it or not because my credit score was not below 600. Told staff credit rating was good and ready to pay cash. They had ample opportunities to explain rebates and did not even though they had the information to know we would not qualify for one of the rebates. So, result was 2,000+ surprise literally at last second. Not the way to do business and I did not appreciate the shady underhanded manner in which things were handled. Trying to get you in the door then work you over left me dissatisfied and disappointed.

Went to dewey dodge for an oil change in my 2017 ram at the end of last year. Everything was going as normal.... until the walk around with the service guy to check for any damages to my truck. And right in center of my passenger boxside was a dent. They told me we will take care of you and get it fixed. They said they would be in contact with me and never did I finally just gave up on it. A simple oil change turned into over $1000. Ive bought 3 new vehicles from dewey over the last 8 years and I can guarantee there will not be a 4th.

I don’t recommend using the Chrysler EShop process with this dealer. I completed the EShop process (online) including trade in valuation and credit application. I was then asked to take my trade into the dealership to verify trade value, etc. (this seemed off right from the start… most dealers just ask for a few pictures). When I arrive at the dealership they claim they are not members of the EShop program and act like I’m the first person to have used it (even though they knew my trade value I was given through EShop). They proceeded to waste over two hours of my day making phone calls to who knows who trying to figure out the value of my trade. After this long wait they presented me with a trade in offer that was $3,660 less than what Chrysler guaranteed through the next week. Bottom line what a waste of my time… the appraiser didn’t even look at my trade… just made phone calls based on the numbers they should have already had. Also, at least two sales managers were involved (sigh). Currently trying to determine if the Chrysler Credit app will transfer to another dealership. You’ve been warned.

Bradley did a great job keeping tabs on me until I finally had time to come in and look at some cars. I was able to easily change my mind and check out several cars before choosing. Then Nyle worked hard finding me a deal closer to what I had walked in wanting. We all know you never get quite what you imagine when you go car shopping. I was never talked into looking at more expensive vehicles than I told them my cap was and never pressured to do anything I didn’t feel like. I was thanked multiple times for just being nice and having patience. Y’all, remember to be nice to people. They’re salesmen, not sharks, and it’s not their fault if you can’t defend you financial decisions against them.

Way to many things to list. Lie after lie. Schedule service to find they hold my vehicle all day to tell me they couldnt fix because they didnt have the part. Has happened twice. Never hear back from them to let me know the part is in. Lied to me about a major upgrade they made before purchasing a jeep to find out they just did a cheap upgrade. Then when we went to make the upgrade we thought we already had, found out they made some major mistakes. Will never step foot in that place and will continue to tell others to stay away.

Took my truck in morning of 6-25 at about 10:15 had an appointment for a recall at 10:30 on a gas tank bracket estimated it to be a 2 1/2 hour fix and I informed them to do a full vehicle inspection, for the extra amount I was willing to pay for out-of-pocket, also knowing that it would take a little bit more time than just the original 2 1/2 hours. Everything was fine till I got a call about 2 hours later saying they needed my truck over night which was weird but I was ok with, next day came got a text around 1 saying my truck was done, I showed up about 20 minutes before closing, talked to them and they said they “had issues because of my rubberized undercoating” which makes some sense. They eventually handed me all my papers and I was going through them and 1. they never did a full veichle inspection I was going to pay for and expected, 2. Took from 10:30-close Friday through Saturday till an hour before service department closed next day, so they had to take about 8 hours one day and 6 hours the following day to do a “2 1/2 hour” job and still not get the actual thing I was going to pay for done. And 3. The free 27 point inspection they gave me was so off it was funny reading all the things they said were “in good condition” when I knowww for a fact some things didn’t even work that were marked as perfect. Possibly one of the biggest wastes of my time and energy going here!

Terrible scheduling amd communication! I called for an appointment to get a recall fix. The person I called looked up my vehicle and confirmed the recall and scheduled my appointment. I arrived and the service guy mentions they dont have the part and there is a year long waiting list! Are you kidding me? You couldnt have mentioned that when I scheduled and made arrangements to drop the car off?! Not to mention the recall was to fix my sons Jeep Grand Cherokee from stalling randomly while driving. Huge safety issue! Weve been dealing with this for over a year. Jeeps are junk. Chrysler is horrible has not been anything but helpful.

I had a very uncommon issue with my car that another dealership was responsible for. Instead of sending me back to that dealership (which is 30 miles away), the staff at Dewey handled this issue with patience and professionalism. They made sure I understood what happened, contacted the other dealership to handle the payment and were very kind about the whole situation. Although it took a few hours to resolve, I would highly recommend this service department. They seem to really care about their customers.

A young, thoughtful salesman named Isaiah showed us the car on Friday and answered our questions. There was no pressure as we told him it was our first day out looking at cars. We returned Monday and were assisted by another young, helpful salesman named Cooper, who rode along as we test drove the car on I-35. we appreciated his patience with our questions and concerns. We bought the car, but there was only one key, which was a disappointment to us as these types are not cheap. Cooper followed up with the former owner, who brought in the second key the next day. We are happy with the car and the good service we received.

I had a great experience on 8/13 buying a manager’s special Ford Explorer! Didn’t have an appointment and was still welcomed and greeted within seconds! Mario was super personable and knowledgeable. It makes it more fun and easier to buy a car when the salesman treats you like a friend and not money. Alex was my moneys guy and he was super duper nice as well! Don’t think I can express that I’ve had the worst experience with this dealership. From day one it’s been a headache. From the paint being messed up on a brand new jeep and they all playing the blame game on who’s fault. Then to going to get the oil changed and making an appointment online and then being told we shouldn’t have been able to make an oil appointment online. The guy said it’ll be a 2ish hour wait and was just plain rude. We live 2 hours away and got the “free” oil changes with our service contracts and now they are worthless if that’s what I have to deal with. Just disappointed all around. This is what you get with the big city dealership. The only thing that was a plus was the body shop did a great job fixing the car after the run around trying to get it fixed. Will never buy from Dewey again. -1 star.

Oil light warning came on as soon as I started it up right after I purchased, has a serious outstanding recall relating to the vehicle not slowing when cruise control was engaged and brake depresses, mats were thrown in a pile in the back instead of being in their correct location, only one key fob was received. I didnt expect to have to call for services/repairs to be done the day after I bought it. (I was told they closed at 6 so I waited til the next day) Vehicle was used (3 years old), 22K miles, appeared clean when I received it. Salesperson was friendly.Just contacted them on the key fob programming since they didnt get back to me. $80 for programming and no guarantee it will work. Guy was kind of rude as well.UPDATE: Dewey Dodge general manager contacted me after reading my survey. He has offered a complete clean and provide a key fob for me. The oil change was completed; however the system was not reset. The recall remedy will be completed on my scheduled appointment. My faith has been restored by 2 points.
