We are first time UTV owners. We checked different dealerships in Anchorage and in the Valley. We ended up closing a deal with AK Cycle Center. We were really pleased with the time and professionalism that we got from them. We got there a little bit before closing time and they were still patient in helping us and willing to answer all questions we had. The manger Rob Webb is really knowledgeable guy in a really modest way! We are happy with their customer service and are hoping the UTV will get here soon. Totally recommend AK Cycle Center :)

Very good service from Alaska Cycle Center. The sales team was honest with me when the bike I had money down on wasn’t showing up ( due to shipping with covid) I thought I’d get a better deal at A different Honda shop. When that deal didn’t go thru just like they told me it wouldn’t. I felt like I betrayed Alaska Cycle Center in a way. I went back to the shop they were still very nice and helpful, and I walked out of there with a new motorcycle (not the one I first wanted but am still very happy with it) what’s really awesome is they offer a REFUNDABLE down payment. NOT all Honda dealers in the state do that apparently. I learned that the hard way by being impatient... but the team at Alaska Cycle Center made it right for another Honda dealers policy.Go see this team in Anchorage, be patient with the effects of covid on shipping and parts.

Sales manager Robert Webb is disrespectful and unprofessional. While helping a friend list his used Honda motorcycle (purchased from ACC) online, Webb took it upon himself to harass me over the listing price. After confronting him about how his comments were unprofessional and intended to publicly humiliate a customer on a social sales platform he responded by saying “the comment was made at 6 shop closed at 5 pm”. Instead of simply apologizing he blocked me.If this is standard practice for your business and employees, I can’t recommend anyone shop there. As I told him, I’ve never heard of another reputable Motorsport or Auto dealership using emotionally manipulative tactics to publicly humiliate someone trying to sell off their used items.I’m not looking for anyone to get fired or disciplined. An apology will be fine. Until Robert or Alaska cycle center privately reaches out and does the right thing my review and respect for your business stands as stated.

I recently visited the shop and was greeted by a gentleman named Logan. He was very helpful on getting me on the right track on which 4 wheeler best suited me. Gave me a list of options and was not your typical pushy salesman. He didnt try and up sale me or my wife which we appreciated. I will be coming here more often for any services in the future and highly suggest it for anyone else in the market!

Went in today to get service on a 2006 wheeler they have been servicing for over a decade. The new service manager told me, they no longer service machines over 10 years old. He told me to try Eagle River, they will help paying customers. So, maybe, upgrade, buy a new machine every 10 years and they will continue to support you. Sad.

Pretty unprofessional operation. The sales staff seemed friendly enough, but the service department is terrible. Bought a new ATV and was promised MULTIPLE times that it would be done by a certain day as we needed to have it finished by that time. Finally the day came and even after being promised by multiple employees multiple times it would be completed, shockingly it wasn’t done and it would still need a few days. Would’ve at least been nice to have received a warning or an apology for them not fulfilling their promise but luckily we were able to back out of the sale.

Pre ordered a honda 32 snow blower in August . They were quick to withdraw the $500 down payment , but 2 weeks ago I was called and told they did not receive enough . Was told , maybe the end of December . I told them nevermind , just refund my deposit . I was told itd take 3-5 days to get put back on card . Well , its been 13 days and multiple phone calls . Still waiting . Not impressed 😕

Unprofessional. Wanted to buy tires for a motorcycle, so I sent an email. Never got a response. So I called, and got told to wait because they were “very busy.” You don’t have 5 minutes for a customer to order some tires? Ended up going to Harley Davidson, so my Shadow has HD brand Dunlop’s on it.Needed parts, ordered them online through their website. Never received them. No phone call. Nothing. I called several times and could never get the parts counter to answer. It was only about 20$ so I took the loss and used Partzilla instead.I’d like to buy another Honda motorcycle in the near future, but I’m never going to give you guys business again. Shame.

Just bough a 4 wheeler from AK Cycle Center and had an all around great experience. Everyone in the shop was friendly and helpful. Morgan, my sales rep, was extremely knowledgeable and had answers to any question I had. He gave me his honest expert opinion on things I did and didnt need which is awesome, especially for someone buying a 4 wheeler for the first time. The walk around before we loaded up the machine was also very detailed and informative which I found very beneficial. The finance department was also friendly, quick and helpful in getting things taken care of the same day.I would definitely recommend AK Cycle Center! Talk to Morgan, he knows his stuff.

I contacted Alaska Cycle Center in regards to a used motorcycle inspection. The overall experience was fair, but the customer service was subpar. Richard, the service representative I engaged with, was very short during conversations and didn’t provide a comfortable or professional experience. It was fairly difficult to coordinate and work with this location.

I was actually headed to a different shop to purchase and mount a rear tire since they didnt currently have a front in my size. I hit a red light when I found this place and stopped in looking to see if they had tires. They had the ones I was looking for in my size for a substantially better price than the other location. The associate john was tremendously helpful. Ill stop back by next time Im looking for something for my bike.

“Working with Justin & Tony was a great experience. Both were very knowledgeable with all the machines in question. Decent service and accommodating to walk-ins.Very friendly folks.Parts and services are overpriced.I was charged 1.5 labor for swapping the rear tire.I strongly suggest you order your parts online, especially tires. Tires are roughly $50 dollars more in house. Another option is to take the rim off yourself and have them mount the new tire.

Went today with trailer in tow to buy a new Honda knowing they had one left after a brief call to sales. After trying to negotiate, and by that I mean throw in a helmet or a cover or SOMETHING to pitch in on their end, they said nope. Their setup and destination fees are higher than everyones and they hinge on the $200 rebate that the factory is giving back...not them! They lost a sale over a $99 helmet that cost them less than that! No problem...just put a deposit on one at the Honda dealer in homer. Over a $100 less ( including the 4 hours drive time each way in fuel) and they are putting on a recoil start NO CHARGE! Thats how you win a deal. Not by being an arrogant fool stating: we just have no mark up...really? Then how do you pay yourself a commission along with your salesperson? Dont bother with this place, waste of time.

Had a great experience, low pressure sales, easy buying experience, and Tony worked with me via text and fax and phone for the most part which was perfect for me. He had everything set up so that when I came in, everything was ready to go! Not a ton of street riding gear to choose from, and they forgot to give me my rear seat, but then, I forgot to get my rear seat, so just as much my fault. Clean show room, nice folks, made it all easy and painless!

Tony, the owner/manager, was approached with a list of options to price a new UTV. He claimed to be: not a salesman, and referred me to a lower echelon employee. Tony, chided me for shopping for price, and gave me a lecture on the magnificence of his store. This guy has a self inflated ego, as big as the solar system. Tony, has an arrogance and I did not like the demeaning treatment. Watch out for the service section: labor for a repair was quoted at one hour verbally, but upon pickup, the rate had swollen, to 2.5 hours. The Honda store in Palmer, has reopened; maybe check there first.

Honda Dealer Anchorage. Purchased on 05/2018, a 2018 Honda Ruckus for Family Fun and to get around Seward. On 07/2018, battery went dead, possibly child left key in on position all night. I had a poor experience when I was shopping for a side by side. But this review is about another poor experience. I went in to pick up a mirror I ordered, and asked about fork seals while I was there. They had the parts in stock, and I was told to check with the service department for the cost and schedule of when the work could be done. I was informed that they do not work on bikes older than 2000. So the Honda dealer, would not do a basic for seal on my Honda bike. Thats not very reassuring for anyone who expects them to work on what they sell... What a joke.

This is not a company that stands by their work, I had them fix something and then it broke not even a month later, instead of owning up to the fact that they messed up and eating the cost they asked for $800 more to fix what was actually wrong with it. So having no other options I went ahead with it. They tell me they are a week out and not very busy, 2 1/2 weeks go by I call they say, “oh the part is on back order”. They say it will be here on January 6th and they will get it done immediately. January 11th comes, I finally call and they say they are working on it right now...Not a company I will use in the future.

It was a horrible experience. My sister had a motorcycle with a one inch scratch on her cover. She went in to get it fixed and they said Well get that done in one to two weeks. At that point we asked Is the motorcycle going to be put indoors? Immediately the person said Of course it will. I thought that this was going to be a wonderful experience, her being a person with her first bike. TWO MONTHS LATER, they said that nothing was done to it. NOT ONLY THAT, but it was stored OUTSIDE!!! Im not an expert, but Im pretty sure that the battery gets shot if it is exposed to cold weather ESPECIALLY for TWO months. Thats at least another visit to this wreched place. We dont have the money to keep there mistakes at bay. My sister actually cried because they acted like it was our own fault. Like we should have brought our own tarp and known that this was going to happen. Thay didnt even know that it was there. It was casted aside like a price of trash. If I were you, I would stay away from this hell hole they call Cycle Center.

A special shout out to Gail who has sold me, a lawn mower, a snow thrower, generator and a weed eater. Very special employee! I know she does parts now but has always been prompt and courteous getting me those too!

James Bailey front counter at service was very unprofessional and rude. He has a bitter attitude and is very hostile. After two months I went to go pick up my four wheeler for an estimation which my insurance was covering. He refused to fax payments to my insurance so they can pay the cost (he said they were included on the repair order invoice). I initially did let him know I had just gotten off the phone with my insurance specialist that was waiting by the fax machine for an invoice so she could pay the estimate. He then has my four wheeler put away back into storage and ignores me while touching his computer. Note also its 11am. Im the only customer in the entire shop. He refused to simply fax the papers to my insurance specialist. Also while all this is happening the entire time he has an attitude and was behaving very childish and snarky. 30minutes passed. I pay the $165 estimate out of pocket and leave with my atv that he had put back into storage.James Bailey I hope you find your inner peace and use this review as constructive criticism. Normally I do not question management on positions however, your position as front desk receptionist is very questionable. You do not value customer service and always have snarky comments that make you very snobby. I understand you are mechanically inclined but, management should reconsider your position as customer service. As a loyal customer who has purchased equipments and regular services from Alaska Cycle Center I will have to say I am no longer a customer. I do not recommend Alaska Cycle Center.

I sincerely cannot believe that these guys are still in. Business. I buy 10+ machines every year this was the absolute worst dealership I have ever dealt with. Started off with the salesman telling me that a machine will be done so I can pick it up on the day that I asked when I called to tell them I was on my Way, Pham for me that the machine will not be done until the following day. Their finance manager got on the phone with me and I am not sure why, and the whole time being rude and telling me I don’t know what’s going on. They said they would do if they could to get the machine done on the day that I needed it but then I received a call and inform me that they actually did not have a machine in stock at all!! Are you kidding me!? I was told for four days straight that this machine will be ready for me to pick up and they didn’t even have it. Once again I sincerely do not get how this company is still in business.

On a 3 week trip riding my CBR600RR from California to Prudhoe bay and back I was forced to stop in Anchorage to find brake pads to replace my severally worn ones. Michael Vance was the parts specialist who helped me and he did everything he could do to get me back on the road ASAP. He helped me with part numbers and told me a few places in town to contact to see if they could get me the parts any faster. The parts I needed ended up being ordered through these guys and they expedited them and got them to me the next morning. Thank you Michael for helping me get back on the road! Horrible service department. had mike in last spring for tire replacement and service. Took them 7 days to get my bike back to me. Then i go to do my oil change this spring and find every bolt severely over torqued !! Broke two strap wrenches trying to get the oil filter off. Oil drain plug was over tighten and I find the final drive fill plug rounded off..... Dont let these people work on your bike EVER

Bad customer service, last year I had bought a lawn mower here and it was like pulling teeth. Then two weeks ago I go in ask for a quote on 2 4 wheelers to bring to the bank and they never got back I have called and its really tough to try and do business with someone who doesnt want your business. I called eagle river Polaris and they were about the same. Then I happened to find hatcher pass Polaris in Wasilla and it was a godsend Chris was awesome she handles it all and made it a pain free easy transaction without any added set up or dealer fees like in town. I will definitely be going back to hatcher pass for all future business.

I took a motorcycle there to get repaired and I felt like I was a burden. The customer service was spotty at best. If I have any other issues with my bike I rather leave it on the side of the road and have the homeless people dry hump on it then take it back to this repair shop! Never again will I step a foot back here!

This issue has since been resolved with the help of Harla, Cycle Centers general manager as she was outstanding on addressing the communication issue I had been experiencing. I would happily contact them in the future for any inquires.Absolutely terrible customer service and very poor product knowledge. I have contacted Cycle Center three times this week for a simple vin verification & service history report on a machine I recently purchased. During each and every conversation I found myself having to direct the service rep on how to do their own job! Being that they are the only dealership in the state for the product I purchased this is extremely disheartening as I would gladly give them my business if only I could simply get some help to establish some sort of trust with them.. Very disappointing.

Waited 30 minutes before someone approached us. We knew which motorcycle we wanted and what we wanted to pay as we were pre approved for a set amount. Almost before we stated as much, the salesman simply said no and that they wouldnt make money if they didnt sell at a bit more than 500 over msrp. Please. Rude and utterly unwilling to deal at all. They are not the only game in town so unless you are fine with paying their asking price, dont bother.

“I loved how easy it was to purchase my Honda foreman (atv) from this place. I was sent the papers priority to Kotzebue (to a remote area). I had my pull start installed with them and was sent the windshield which I did myself. I pulled in to the shop unannounced with leaking fork seals on my Africa Twin. Richard, the service manager, was most helpful, checking if they had parts, then he rang around to see if anyone else local had parts. No one did.He then rang Honda, organised a warranty claim, overnighted the parts, including brakes, which had oil on them.As soon as the parts arrived, they had them fitted, and notified me.All the guys I delt with at the shop over the few days this took were friendly, helpful and professional. I totally recommend them.

I would not recommend this place to anyone that is human. This is a place that has really bad customer service and has no respect for there customers. When I walk inside this shop I do not feel welcome at all. Im not sure why, but I believe that I am not the only one that has encounter this. When they talk to you and you ask something, it seems like there pissed off at the world like your question was a threat to them or something, but it was just a question you would like to know about there products. Stunningly terrible customer service experience.I tried to buy a brand new 13K Victory motorcycle in October after first snow. Had the downpayment and financing pre-approved. They needed me to schedule the time to buy it because they have meetings with their ducati rep, other customers and other appointments and want to make sure they have time for me.I got irritated and pointed out that I am giving them $13,000.00 dollars and they should be more concerned with my schedule than their schedule. When I tried to explain why I was irritated, the general manager interrupted me and asked me if I have a problem like this in all my business dealings.When I said No, I do not. But I am concerned because if I buy a bike from you, you are the only place to get it serviced and buy parts from he told me that i wasnt the kind of customer they wanted to add to their dealership.I couldnt believe that this guy was making it a hassle for me to give him 13K and insulting me. I decided if they are this bad before I am customer and have other places to choose from they are probably an absolute nightmare once I have a service issue, or need parts, or need warranty work etc. and they are the only place in town to get it.So I picked up my cash down payment off their desk, left the paperwork unsigned and told them they didnt have to have me as a customer.Another point to note is there was no one else in the store both days I was in there. It was not a situation where I was demanding attention at their busiest season when they have a line of customers waiting.

To the General Manager of Anchorage Cycle Center:My son bought a new Polaris from Murita Sea n Ski then a week later they abruptly closed down. Murita filled the oil tank 1/4 tank with Polaris Blue. My son added Polaris Gold to the tank so it was then 1/4 Blue - 3/4 Gold.Anchorage Cycle Center (ACC) charged my son $146 to drain the oil that was in the tank and refill it with Polaris Gold. This was in a 2017 Polaris Pro RMK 800 155.If I understand my son correctly, ACC told him that if the oil wasnt changed out that should he have an engine issue that Polaris would not honor the warranty.We all know that is pure BS!To make matters worse, they said they threw the old oil away and if they had know that my son wanted it they would have kept it. Id bet $1,000 that his old oil is sitting in a container in the shop somewhere.Murita Sean n Ski closed down. One would have thought this is an ideal time for Anchorage Cycle Center to take care of a potentially new customer and have him spread the word about the service there.You took advantage of a young man who bought his first ever snowmobile. Forget about the fact that it was my son, but you took advantage of a United States Air Force soon to be Staff Sargent who is proudly serving his country.Beware you USAF and Army folks up there! Let your wallet do the talking!

I had my quad being fixed and was in there for a month and a half I get it back and the air box didnt have the clamps down so it was open to water my brakes for whatever reason are not as stiff so I really have to the have hold the brake lever down for it to stop they got oil all over the machine I mean holy crow nice people but their mechanics are retards

If you ever want to buy a 4 wheeler and want good customer service DO NOT go to Alaska Cycle Center....to be quite honest if we woulda had more time in Anchorage we would have gone elsewhere....In the door took a rep about 15 minutes to even come over to talk to us and actually I think we finally went over and approached him...came back the next morning so obviously we are interested at this point and the sales rep is too busy moving their razors around the show room to approach us once again...We went to speak to the Parts person, whom may I say was very helpful, and he got the sales rep over...so yes we did purchase the 4 wheeler but as said earlier if we were in town longer I woulda walked outa there after about 5 mintues of walking through the door. Obviously they are in the business of selling 4 wheelers ...razors...and whatever other equipment they have there but you would never know it by the POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
