Needed some new accessories for new cel.....4 to be exact. Had the phone with me even. Local south Anchorage store had very little inventory and blue shirt agent picked out a hard case he said would fit. Turned out he didnt know his product line. Not the worlds end, just another trip to BB, not my best.

I love coming here!! The staff are always welcoming and friendly. The store is nice and clean. I usually find what Im looking for if not one of the workers here will help show/point me in the right direction. Im very satisfied with this store so far. Highly recommend for best electronic store there is in Alaska!! 😁😍👍

Short staffed, limited selection for the things I was interested in. Decent pricing. Bought a phone protection plan, there was always extra charges for each service; I gave up on ever doing that with them again. I would still shop a priced item, but never something with future charges possible.

The geek squad subscription is total trash. I paid like 200 bucks for the yearly subscription to reduce the amount labor would cost to get some work done on my pc. Geek Squad couldnt work on the most simple of issues and I ended up taking it to a mom and pop shop nearby. The problem was simple but geek squad said they would have had to send the pc away. It took said shop 20 min to find the problem. Additionally, the clerk said he cancelled the subscription for me so that I would only have it for a year, but for some reason Best Buy is still trying to charge me 30 bucks for some yearly plan I never wanted. I paid this place $230 for absolutely nothing. Ill never shop there again and you shouldnt either

Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable, especially with my interactions with laptop computers. Many sections of the store, just like almost everywhere else since Covid, are almost barren, and face a dearth of supplies, especially in computers. Was told right away that several of the computers at the front display were no longer in stock and they didnt know when to expect more, which is the only reaaon I didnt give 5 stars. That said, the staff person showed a range of laptops which were available and clearly communicated the differences between them.

Got the deal of the century!!!!Kid broke our current TV, told the sales rent I had a limit on how much I can afford. When all saaid and done, they saved me $650.00 and my family got a better set up than what I had. Cant wait to pay down my debt and do more business with Best Buy. If youre looking for a local technology store with just about everything then youll find it here at Best Buy. Best Buy has plenty of items in stock, if you find the price online theyll price match, and if there is an issue with your item you can return it to the store within a couple weeks with few questions asked. I personally enjoy shopping at Best Buy because I can handle the item here to see if I really like it. Because of the price matching I dont waste time buying online. There were plenty of customers on Sunday but hardly any assistants to be seen.There was absolutely nobody at the cashier and nobody at the computer department. I wanted to buy a particular laptop.There was only one woman at the customer service who seemed to be stressed out.I know it’s hard for them to stay motivated during pandemic but the CEOs need to raise their pay since they forced almost everyone to be part timers.How are they going to pay their rent, mortgage or child’s daycare?

Once I got some customer service help I was able to decide on a new laptop. Took 20 mins before anyone offered to help or even say hi. They were short on a lot of items, out of stock and very small selection of Samsung tablets.

It is impossible to call the store and speak with someone. The calls go to a national call center. The call center cannot transfer calls to the actual store. There is no way to contact the store to check product compatibility. I cant even call the customer service desk or the manager. Whoever manages this location -- do you really get so many phone calls to your store that they must be routed to a call center?

I have shopped here for years and spent thousands....every year I retain Bestbuys Elite Plus status.This place has had some awesome employees come and go that made shopping here a personable experience. Recently I have had questionable experiences with some of the staff on the sales floor :(The tone of the sales floor has really changed. There are still a handful of good people at this store.Because of my experiences with the customer service counter providing exceptional customer service...I have to give this store a five star rating😅

I arrived about 90 minutes before closing with the intent of buying a mid-range laptop for 3d art, and general home use.Unfortunately everything in the price range I was looking at was out of stock for a week, or more, and my existing laptop has been failing for a while.However, they did have a high-end laptop in stock (Alienware M17), but it was outside my original budget. Michael managed to get me approved for credit, but when we tried to complete the transaction it told him to call a referral line. After several attempts to get hold of someone, and being hung up at least once, we finally got to someone who tried to verify my identity... However nothing he tried would work, even trying to text my cell phone.Eventually I put the purchase on a personal credit card that Id been trying to avoid using because of the interest rate. Through the entire process Michael was pleasant, understanding of my frustration with the referral line and, in my opinion, had the patience of a saint...Its people like Michael who make this Best Buy my go to for electronics, even though I have several stores closer to home, including the other store in Anchorage. To put that into perspective I do a 110 mile round-trip to buy at this particular location.

Generally I have good luck but the employees are not the most informed. Not a place I go if I need to get information. Today I asked for 3 micro sd cards. Employee reached into locked cabinet and handed me three cards. Went to the checkout and asked if they were micro sd cards. They looked big and I could not see micro printed anywhere. They assured me they were and that they looked big because they were inside a case. I have also had a couple of other incidents where I caught them telling me something incorrect. I have never felt intentionally misled and have had great help at times. I now tend to buy over the internet and only go in when a product is needed quickly.

It was my third time experienced a lot of issue with Bestbuy curbside pickup.I had to wait more than 20 min, no one came. I went to the store to pick up the item in person; there was a long line and only one person handle online pick, return, and ...I did not want to wait, so I went to find the item myself but the bestbuy was like a desert, more than half of the shelf were empty and it was not the firest time that I could see empty shelf. It is a normal situation in bestbuy in Diamond mall. I could find the item,so I came back in the line and after 20 kore min of wait finally I could get the item. I know Bestbuy does not have any contender in Anchorage and it is a monopoly situation for them, but they should atleast take care of their brand.

Incredibly picked through and difficult to find a staff member willing to so much as look you in the eye. Today they didn’t have a single check out lane open. Customer service were the only people doing checkout, they were doing returns, online pickup and in store purchases in the same single line. Staff was rude and probably overworked, I was only in the store for 30 minutes before dropping evening I picked out and left but I could tell morale was terrible.

Great customer svc. The loss prevention employees are a little over bearing and clearly need more training, since theyre obviously not doing a good job. Following the wrong individuals, who dont do anything that would suffice having loss prevention following them and then failing to follow the right individuals who are definitely shady and in need of being watched and followed. However, the products are of course always on point, up to date and they seem to always have a decent amount of each diff item. Thanks Best Buy.

Unable to reach a real person on the phone as the Dimond location no longer takes phone calls. The replacement is a voice prompt system that is too sensitive in picking up noise (which causes long pauses, reiteration, and inaccurate information to be used).You can try the website live cha for “support”. Why provide a phone number if you are NEVER going to answer it? Ive been on hold for an hour and 17 minutes. I have spoken to no one. No expected wait time. No X number of calls ahead of you. No high call volume. NOTHING! I did get some really bad elevator music to listen to while waiting which did nothing but get on my nerves. It can be a little hard to find an associate to assist and they dont always have everything in stock, but their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. And part of the stock issue could easily be due to Covid-19, so its not a huge deal. I still enjoy Best Buy and recommend them if you have any home electronic needs.

It was Best Buy...nothing special. You can tell its after Christmas because the shelves are half bare, new inventory is sitting on pallets in the middle of the store and associates avoid you like you have the plague. The cashier was the first associate I spoke to, and I was in the store for 30+ minutes. Please dont think Im bashing them. Im not.... the Christmas rush really takes it out of retail staff and it takes some time to recover.

I shopped for a dash cam yesterday. After questioning the functionality of the Cobra SC 200D Front & Rear device and purchasing it, I find out that we was lied to. And I quote:Yeah, the rear camera is wireless. There is a battery in the rear camera, youll just have to plug it in to charge it every few days...I got home, read the installation instructions just to find out that I need to run the supplied wiring to the rear camera for any sort of connectivity or functionality. The REAR CAMERA IS NOT WIRELESS.And again, disappointed with this place. I say this because Ive also tried to use their online ordering service for a $1,400 product which I never received even after 60 days of wait time being told it was on either on back order, shipping, then on back order again. And in another instance was told over the phone that a product was in stock, plenty available and made the trip there to find out that they didnt have it in stock.

Delivery is horrible. They give you a six hour window for delivery. We even called the day before to see if they could limit that. They promised to get back to us later that day and never did. It wasnt until the delivery day that we started to get any information and that was basically we will be there in 15 minutes.Then when delivery arrives, they wont install the dryer.All in all a very bad experience, if you can avoid them, shop somewhere else. We had a delivery from Loews, it was great, a two hour window, with text messages updating arrival time, best buy stinks.

Us Alaskans are kind of stuck buying appliances there. I bought 2 Bose speakers at two different times (one was a bluetooth speaker, other was a sound bar) about a year apart, they both broke within a year.I dont think they get the same level of quality sent to their store. I think its a ploy to get people to buy the extended warranty.If you need basics, perfect, but if you want high end, Id consider ordering directly from the manufacturer.
