20 min wait no joke and the same customer was still at counter, nobody could get gas or anything.Think they were cashing in tickets but the cashiers didnt say sorry about wait or ask the elderly couple to wait so the customers could get gas I saw 5 people walk out and line was 8 people deep at time

This was my first visit to this restaurant...The smothered burrito was fabulous (needless to say I had leftovers 😳) and the halibut fish and chips were cooked to perfection! Portions were ample. Also indulged in a piece of chocolate pie and a chocolate chip cookie.Service was exceptional and wait time was minimal. Prices were surprisingly lower than expected.Restaurant opens early (6:30am) making it a wonderful spot to have breakfast; however, was thrilled to learn the rather extensive breakfast menu is available all day, every day.Such a cute restaurant with easy access and only a few miles from Deception Pass.I highly recommend and will personally be back several times as I work my way through the menu.

First of all I read the reviews before coming to this restraunt and thought okay I will try it. Come to fimd out this is NOT the best place to eat. First our waiter gave me a salad with bad tomatoes which fine I thought nothing of it. then came a new salad with hair on it. I also ordered a medium rib eye and I got an over cooked steak. Im not coming back to this place and I caution you to beware of this place.

My husband and I enjoy the food and service here.Last time we ordered the grilled salmon dinner. Not only were we able to split the entre, we ordered a extra side of vegetables.The mashed potatoes were perfect, a few lumps that let you know they werent instant. They split the meal for us, bringing them beautifully presented on separate plates.

They say they are open till 2:30am but its 10:47 pm and they cant get me wings fix ur hours so you dont disponting a customer thats trying to get ur food during that open have goodnight but just know I wish I could fo wildwings or any dinner near the north west because I saw u see my call come in and u didnt answer..............

The Best Diner!Quality food. Good prices. The fish is fresh, solid and crispy hot. Thefries are fresh and crispy and hot. The baked potato is perfectly done with all the fixings. Steaks are tasty and done to perfection. Salad is fresh and dressings are delicious. Clam chowder is chunky and tasty. I would give it 5 stars but there is a but of a rushed vibe, getting the main before finishing the soup or salad.

Atmosphere is a 2 on a 10 scale. The people who frequent the place also is going down in brain power rapidly in the last 2 years.

For an affordable, filling, DELICIOUS breakfast before you catch the ferry come here. Im quite picky and I found my eggs to be cooked perfectly, pancakes light and fluffy and crisp (not over cooked) bacon. Will certainly stop in next time Im in town.Speedy service too. Never had to worry about my glass being half empty or half full. Good job guys and gals at The Corner!

Nice little place to stop off on your way to or from Deception Pass. Although the drunks outside were a bit annoying LOL. The waitress Charlene was incredibly attentive and friendly. Probably the most attentive I have experienced in many years. Wife absolutely loved the which is real corn beef. The burger is well your average worker and the potato salad was really good also. I also would like to say the beer battered fries were very good.

I dont know what it is about this place but its just cozy and familiar. Its become a regular thing for us to drop by for Sunday brunch. The hashbrowns are crispy and the biscuits are perfection! Fish and chips are also a favorite with some of the most yummy crispy fries Ive ever had. Down home country vibes with a very casual look. Really nice people, even when things get crazy and busy, theyre always polite and friendly.

If you have complaints about this restaurant, then the problem is you. I have never met such a kind a polite group of employees. Every one of them has been so kind and helpful, not just to me but to every customer I have seen them interact with. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent food in a nice setting. Whenever we visit Anscortes this is part of our plan. Not a great view place, and not an exclusive vibe but pleasant staff in a welcoming environment. The only problem is the food is so good and the portions so generous it is a hard stop enjoying the meal when you arr full. (Take the leftovers they are still delicious the next day.) One last thing conversation is easy as the ambient noise is low.Two years and Covid-19 later. Still excellent food, pleasant staff, quick service, big portions. Loved the taco salad, everything including the shell is fresh. And the view really is pretty good.

What a great place it was to hang out what a good night the crowd is awesome people are welcoming.Its a great environment.Both bartenders Heather & Star are friendly and work their tails off.The bar has enough room to dance and enjoy the fellowship of local people.This bar provides a nice outside smoking area, where you actually may eat if you choose so.The food is good, love the chicken wings (orginal) crispy, spicy, yummy...The Nachos oh yeah!, Fish & Chips so good, breakfast all day, all day...thats right pancakes or biscuits & country gravy all day long along with all your other breakfast favorites.The Onion ring are amazing, 8oz Ribeye is a favorite as well. A standard breakfast stop for us when starting a long trip as well as a quick dinner stop after a long day. Service is good, food is low cost/standard fare and the cookies are incredible.

Worst firewood I’ve ever bought. Thought it would be better to get firewood here than right outside the gate at Deception Pass. Wrong. After 2.5 hours, 9 (!!!) fire starter packs/logs, paper + wood kindling, a roll of paper towels as kindling + a pint of charcoal lighter fluid, the wood died out and is still damp.

We picked this place based on the 4 star rating and food variety, but disappointment was all we found. After waiting 15 minutes for a table, we waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Then about 25 minutes for food. Nobody refreshing coffees or waters that whole time. Half the food was good (chicken fried steak breakfast), half was lame (overly greasy fish & chips with too many sides that just went uneaten). I guess Sunday afternoon is not a 4-star time of week for them? 🙁
