Patrick, Jimmy, and North Harbor Diesel did an exceptional job with our recent mechanical service. Jimmy was a pleasure to work with, and he was happy to answer my questions without hesitation. He is timely, knowledgeable, meticulous, and he always cleaned up the work area. To say Im happy is an understatement and I would strongly recommend you join me in making NHD your service provider of choice.

Last summer my R-25 Ranger Tug developed a leak where the stern thruster mounts on the transom and took on enough sea water that it got sucked into the engine. I found myself needing a new Volvo-Penta Diesel engine, transmission, stern thruster, electrical work and more. I read reviews of North Harbor diesel and with my fingers crossed I decided to give them a try.It turned out to be one of the best decisions Ive ever made. Patrick and his team were responsive to every one of my concerns, got my new engine installed on budget and in record time and delivered my boat looking brand new.I couldnt be more pleased. Now thats the way to do business!!

My first day out on a trip to Alaska my transmission failed and I had to be towed to Anacortes. In spite of it being a busy time of the year, they found a way to put a mechanic on my boat. Friendly, courteous, and customer oriented. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

This is a Company that you don’t want to do business with. They talk a good story but when it comes down to doing the right thing they are just too greedy. I had them do some gelcoat work for me and the quality was very poor. They quoted me $9600.00 but the bill came to $17,000.00, almost twice as much! I have had to take it to another company to do the repairs. The gelcoat is so thin you can see the wood. Then when the returned my boat they did not notice that it had a horrible vibration in it. When I called them they told me that they had noticed it before and thought they had fixed it. When I reported it to them they flew a man over to look at it. I thought that they would pay for the man but then presented me with the bill. Then Justin told me he would take care of it. For 4 months they kept sending me bills and late fees. I ultimately paid them the $2523.50 to have a man tell me there was a vibration. What happened was that they picked up my boat with a new style of Lift. This Lift picks up boats leaving a large part of the boat unsupported. Boats that were built prior to 2005 were not built to withstand the concentrated weight distribution. My boat flexed so much that it bent the 2 inch stainless steel shaft as well as separate the cabin from the hull. Their determination was that “Navigator boats flex too much” and caused the problem. So I say to you all, if you have a Navigator boat and they pull it out of the water you can’t be sure what you will get back. I would strongly recommend that you find a boat yard that uses a sling or rail system to lift your boat.
