It was a great place to get my windshield replaced after a tree branch fell and busted it. They were very quick at getting me in and it was really affordable. I would suggest you check them out first if you need vehicle windows repaired.

Called to have my glass replaced in my work truck and car, set up an appointment to have them done at my shop. Got call day of appointment and they thought I was brining it to them - was an error on owners side, no worries, owner said tech would be out later in the day. No call no show. Next day I called to follow up and owner told me he would check and get back. Now a week later and no follow up. Ill find someone else.

Fantastic experience, contacted for a quote to fix some rock chips and it was around a fourth the price of Safelite! Total time to get in and out was less than 30 minutes with fast WiFi to keep working while waiting. End result is a much better windshield to look at now, can barely even tell where the chips were!

None of the employees wear masks. In fact they have a sign on the door saying that customers dont have to wear masks either. It doesnt really matter how otherwise friendly or how high of a quality work a place does if they show that much disregard for the lives of their fellow citizens.Is it really all that much to ask to wear a mask if it meant that you might save one persons grandparent?Wearing a mask isnt about freedom. Needed my windshield replaced and got an earful when I asked if “the owner” could wear a mask while we discussed my poor car. Clearly doesn’t care about anybody’s safety so why would I trust them with my windshield?

Had a crack come up in my 2014 WRX windshield over the weekend, called on Monday and they were able to get in a brand new one by Thursday morning. Price was exactly as quoted, more reasonable price than other shops, and install was faster than they estimated! Super friendly and awesome people to work with, definitely would recommend to anyone needing work done.

They were able to schedule me quickly. Quoted price was including tax and everything and was exactly what I ended up paying. I was waiting in the waiting area for them to change the windshield. The waiting area was quite simple but good enough for me. They were no too busy so it took them only about an hour. They were polite, professional and it was all fine.

Got my windshield replaced about 9 months ago due to a bunch of rock chips, just the other day the replaced window developed a crack in it due to unknown issues, All Star Auto Glass replaced it for free for me because it was most likely damaged when shipped and it just now revealed itself. The crack originated in the base of the windshield where it’s a black area and thats why they would not have caught it originally before installing. The crack was in the inside layers of the glass as well.It was no hassle and they had the windshield replaced the very next day from when I went in, service was quick, and the owner is super friendly. Would take my business there again and would recommend to anyone. I believe that their price is a little better the safelite too.

I spoke to my insurance agent and filed the claim over the phone. My agent did it on line.Wasn’t 10 minutes later that I got a call from Eric. He told me to come right over to get my rock chip on my passenger side of my windshield. I said I’ll be in the next day. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Eric filled the one chip and noticed I had another and filled it at no charge for the second one.Totally would recommend All star glass to others. This place is where all true Iowa State Cyclones fans need to get there glass repairs done!Great job to Eric and all his staff!

If you are looking for great service that is fast and polite, you found it. We cracked the front windshield of our 2019 Jeep jku during vacation in Colorado. When we arrived back home we contacted Eric about the crack and size. He was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to our specific windshield. He explained why this style window is prone to cracking more than most and on top of that he recommended a glass for my Jeep that would help with the issue. I stopped in because our windshield was making a strange noise and we were leaving for vacation the next day. The gentleman behind the desk came right out and looked at the windshield. He was able to identify what we thought to be the problem and offered to fix it right there. He was done in 5 minutes and we were on our way. I was truly impressed, will definitely be back if we ever have a need.

They replaced my (apparently super hard to find….) windshield three weeks ago and after installing realized there was a defect right in the line of sight of the driver. Not only did they special order a new windshield and replace for free they also are putting on a rain repellent treatment for free “for our troubles” of having to come back in. Fantastic customer service, very friendly and professional. 100% would use again!

These guys were AWESOME! They were able to save the glass, reseal and replace the windshield molding within a few hours, and was reasonably priced. They even removed some paint that had gotten on the windshield!

They did not vacuum up my vehicle after installing a windshield. I called and talked with Eric and he said he would call me back after he spoke with his supervisor but its been two weeks and he has not called. I paid for a service that I did not receive and now they are wasting my time. From previous reviews Eric seems to have a problem with following through.

The guys were very friendly. Lobby is a little sparse but youre not there to vacation, youre there to get your windows fixed. They had me in and out in exactly how long they said they would. Hopefully I never have to come back but if I ever need a window fixed, theyre definitely my first choice.

Had an appointment to get a windshield put it at my house. Eric showed up and looked at the truck said it was to rusty. Falling apart he said. I took the windshield out myself and did not see any rust. Eric said he would come out within 30 minutes to show me what the problem was. He never showed up or called me to say he wasn’t coming. I called back the next day to talk to him and I never received a call. Monday I called back to talk to him and got the same story from the lady at the front desk. He was busy and it couldn’t be done. I even asked to buy the parts so I could do it myself. Still no call. I did find another company to do my windshield and there were no problems with any rust Eric claimed to be. I’ll never do any business with them again.

Came to Allstar Auto Glass after leaving another auto glass repair shop in Ames, and Eric fixed a 1 mm diameter chip for free. Other shop quoted $100-$125. That is good customer service by AllStar Auto Glass.
