I got one of my wheel bearings replaced because it was super loud. Ruddy was able to do it within the day (could have been faster but I didnt need it super quickly) and my car is quiet and feels so much better now. Very satisfied and a reasonable price

One day I brought in a Honda Odyssey 2014. I have them replace timing belt around January 2019. Today, year and a half later, timing belt broke. Timing belt was used instead of new as promised, half of the parts have not be replaced as promised either. Timing belt tensioner is missing a screw. It damaged our 2014 Honda Odyssey Elite engine which we had to get replaced. Not on only that, my family has 2 other cars that have got an engine replaced because of their mistake. Never coming back. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Easily the best mechanic in Utah county. They are very honest and have great customer service. They arent going to sell you parts or work that you do not need. My family and friends have been going to this shop for many years.

One of three least expensive shops around. That means theyre always really busy, as in you might have to schedule for a week later to get a repair done. Good people. Spanish is everyones first language, so either speak Spanish with them or be prepared for a thick accent.

This guy is awesome! I had A/C problems in my SUV that I couldnt figure out. I had heard that Edgars in American Fork was fair and did good work. I called and made an appointment for him to look at my car. I dropped the car off in the morning and by early afternoon they called and said it was ready. When I picked it up, Edgar said he couldnt find a leak. He recharged my A/C and said to drive it for a couple of days. If no problems, great. If it stops working, come back and Ill figure it out. I asked what I owed him for the recharge and he said nothing. The A/C died again the next day so I brought it back in. He had found the problem, ordered the part, and finished the repair in less than 2 days! He even charged me less than I expected to pay.If you have car problems, I cant recommend Edgars enough.

Best in Utah County. As the father of 5 Lone Peak Students I have experience with student cars (typically 10 years old with issues)and with non-dealer repair shops. World Class Class is pretty quick and competent but the business model is to find everything else wrong and typically estimates $1500. Nice driving service to work after drop off. Greenwoods does a great job but takes a week or two to get in. Edgar does a great job of figuring out the problems and keeping the cost low. Plus Edgar is a legend.

Best mechanic in the area. Edgar and his crew consistently surprise me with how inexpensive they are compared to other mechanics. They will go to the junk yard and get parts for my kids cars when I tell them I do not want to put lots of money into a cheap vehicle. The staff are honest and will do their best to minimize costs - depending on my instructions. They communicate well and call me if unforseen issues arise that cause my repair to cost more than their initial estimate. I trust this mechanic with my parents vehicles, my kids cars, and my personal automobile. If there were 6 stars they would deserve them all.

They treat you like family here. Give you good prices, but may take a week or two to fix the issue. (assuming you dont have an appointment). Sometimes they are only scheduled out a couple days, and other times a couple weeks. Turn around time is great when you have an appointment. Quality work too. I highly recommend Edgar.

Fair prices that dont veer from the estimate. Work is done well and when promised.I recommend providing a written list of things to be checked and work to be done. Also specify call before doing the work instructions. They missed a few items i wanted looked at the first time and did work on an item i only wanted an estimate on the third time i went there.They are very honest and very busy. If you communicate what you want in writing for their reference you cant go wrong with them. .

Ive been pleased with the work and the prices here. Ive been impressed with Edgars ability to locate the problem and fix it. I agree with G2 reviews with the process. Its good to specify exactly what problem youve brought the car in for, and Ill ask to be called if the fix is over a certain price point. They welcome texting, which is nice. Ive recommended this place to my sisters and several friends. Theres no reception area, which some people may find awkward, but Ive found no comparison to the quality, price, and people at Edgar Automotive.

I made an appointment took my car there had my parents meet me there so I could have them drive me home. Then was told he had to many cars when I got there. Ive heard great things but dont waste my time like that.

Best damn mechanic I have ever had. Eddy is very nice and will NEVER over charge you for the service you need done. He is the cheapest guy around and does a great job. I go to him to get my car licensed and registered, and to get it fixed. He sometimes even does it on the spot without me having to set an appointment. Highly recommend him and his guys.

My family goes to Edgar, almost exclusively for all automotive repairs. He is very honest and does great work at a reasonable price. Hes always busy so be prepared to leave your vehicle for a few days but it is well worth the wait!

Had a head gasket go. Everybody told me to replace the engine. Edgar said I should replace the gasket. I think he saved me at least $2500 by doing so. Car is running great. It did take him a while to get it done, but it was well worth it to me. He will only tell you to do something if he really believes it is right.

10+ Months without my car! He ignores my calls, lies all the time about this and that. Took 1 month to give me a quote, 4 months to break my car. He wanted $1000 for not even doing what we agreed on. Got the car back and they did repairs on things that werent broken! Now those things are broken!He tells me that I have to find the parts for my car when I dont know where to look. He lies about getting things done at a certain time, its just one lie after another. Wont pick up my phone calls, speaks Spanish in front of the customer thinking they dont know what he is saying when he is talking bad about them in a different language.I have brought my car to him for years and yeah he got things fixed before and not taken this ridiculous amount of time to do anything. Also the repairs that he has done before in the past werent the best, I had to rig things to make them stop making noise after his son fixed things on my car.To this day we are 2 months away from not having my car after a year over not so big issues. I have gone there multiple times to find out what is going on because he ignores the calls, and text messages I send him. I get lied to every time without fail. My car isnt even there anymore when I request to see it.... He might of sold it for parts or sold it to one of his friends for all I know.EXTREMELY SHADY, not trustworthy! I was a loyal customer for 10+ years.... If I EVER get my car back, Ill NEVER go back there again!

I have had an air conditioning unit replaced here and brake jobs. Very reasonable prices. Always busy. I have recommended to friends and family. Good experience. Hard to find parking. I get the feeling they annoy their neighbors. I wish they would upgrade their shop, though it would then probably have to cost more.

Edgar and his team take care of you for the best price around. They won’t throw unnecessary repairs your way. Sure it takes a few days longer than the other guys but for the price who even cares? Edgar isn’t there to charge high prices for things you don’t need. If you go in and say you only need to pass inspection, he’ll get you there. If you need to replace the bearings on one side, he won’t do both unless you ask like other places.He has helped me out of a jam with many of my cars and has our business as long as we live around here.

Edgar is a straight shooter. You can trust his diagnosis. He only had 2 bays so is always backed up, so may take a little longer, but youll always get a fair price. And its close to McDonalds so nice waiting area.
