Although Im not a runner, Kaitlin treated me like a track star, worked with me on my cheapskate budget, made sure I had the right fit, and ended up finding me a great pair of Brooks on sale.They look snazzy and feel great. Im walking much faster now- feel like Im walking on air. The shoes are well-made, good grip and provide great arch support. Very pleased with both my purchase and my shopping experience. I love the crew at Get Fit. The staff treats all souls - (I believe working with soles is one of their specialties!) that walk through the door with the same enthusiasm and professional service. You will get great advice too from the owner Karen on nutrition, types of shoes etc. She is a humble athlete herself that runs Ultras! Get Fit is Active in the community and supports a lot of great causes! When I have clients moving to town I always highly recommend Get Fit!

The women here were so courteous and friendly. They let me talk their ear off about all things running and even printed out an upcoming calendar of all events in the area. I wasnt there to buy anything and they gave me their full attention and time. Beautiful facility and very nice inventory, though!

My son had not changed out his cross country spikes on his shoes, they were jammed and stripped, we tried everything from youtube to fire. Called Get Fit they told me to come by, Gabe took over and made it his mission and took them home and brought them to our house ready to go. It was truly a blessing and Gabe went above and beyond. Wonderful store for runners or anyone wanting to have someone help you find shoes that best fit your feet. They have a great selection of items to help with aches and pains as well. I have gone in with a few different issues in the last few weeks and they have been able to steer me in the right direction every time.

I have the privilege of being an elementary PE teacher at Arden Road and I am active and on my feet all day long. I have also hit my 50s and continue to exercise and remain active knowing how important it is for my health. Therefore, I trust my feet to Karen and her crew at Get Fit!! I currently had an issue with a purchase because of back order issues with a particular shoe company. I cant tell you how much I appreciate the way management handled my situation and made things right. Karen went above and beyond to make up for the issues with ordering and delivery delays and I find myself wearing one of the best pair of shoes Ive ever worn on my feet! I really want to buy local, and support local businesses.I really wanted to LOVE my first experience buying shoes from Get Fit Amarillo.I really wanted to write a raving review about how wonderful and efficient they are.But thats not going to happen.I came in and the service from Marci was great. I was patiently sized and fitted, trying several different shoes. I finally settled on the one I liked but the color/style I wanted was out of stock so I was told they would order it. I paid and left. We went on vacation two days later. When almost 2 weeks had passed without hearing, I called to check on the status. After some confusion, I was told that it somehow had never been ordered at all, but that it would be that day. I waited another week and called back yesterday. I was told by Beth that they hadnt come in, that she would contact the company because usually theyre very quick getting out order. She rudely told me, I cant order what they dont write down!I told her I was about ready to just cancel the order since I had lost that warm, fuzzy good feeling about the entire situation. She requested I wait until today so she could contact the company and talk to a live person to find out the status. I agreed.Today around 2, I called and she told me she would contact the company and call me right back. I waited about 45 minutes and because I had some errands to run, I called back. Jason answered the phone and very curt and rudely said, We have a FULL store, I am sorry we are busy and couldnt call you right BACK. He interrupted me every time I tried to say something. Finally I said, Im tired of the excuses, and I just want to cancel the order. He said FINE! Ill tell her, and hung up on me. Beth called back about 20 minutes after but I reiterated that I just wanted to cancel the order and get a refund. I havent checked with my credit card company to make sure this has occurred.This business is chaotic and disorganized. had I not called to follow up on the initial order, it never would have been ordered! Some of the employees seem to have issues accepting responsibility for mistakes, and Jason is flat out rude and should find a job that doesnt deal with people because he seems incapable to doing it in a reasonable and polite manner.Next time, Im sticking with Amazon. I found the same shoes for less with free shipping and guaranteed to receive in 2 days instead of 3 weeks and without the condescending attitude of employees.

I went in for the first time on a Saturday afternoon and it was extremely crowded. I couldnt get anyone to assist me. Im disappointed in my experience here as I was expecting the service/experience raved about in the reviews.
