First time Ive ever given a Walmart 5 stars. These 5 stars are only in comparison to the other Walmarts along our journey. This one is big, this one is clean, this one is bright. The grocery selection may be the best of any Walmart Ive visited..If u like my reviews, pls give a helpful thumbs up. Thank u. Trying to win the GI Joe with the king Fu grip. :-)

We had pictures developed and had a very pleasant experience with Jesses help. He was very professional and proficient.

Lowered my rating since over a year ago. This location, since then, NEVER has the products I want in stock. If they do, its not the version I need. Just empty. Seems like they might be improving. Staff has always been great, friendly and helpful! Clean.

One of the best layout or designs of any walmart ive been in, plus the mens clothing selections is the best out of all the amarillo w.m.

This is how they placed our groceries in our car. The man that brought out groceries was rude and disrespectful, he didnt want to be there..I wonder if hed be upset if someone put heavy bottles on his and smashed his groceries..

Usually pretty stocked with what I need or something very similar. Lines get kinda long but always move quickly. Store is clean and associates are friendly. One if the best walmarts in Amarillo

Hometown Walmart. One of my faves. People from out of town even like this Walmart better than their own. Has its moments but usually good products, availability, and sales!

The people are always so helpful, in the pharmacy they go out of their way to help! Great service, and wonderful people.

The constant remodeling of the store Im sure is done so that people spend more time shopping instead of knowing exactly what theyre going in for. However I like the convenience of knowing exactly where what Im looking for is.

Even though I was running late their customer service employee stayed overtime to.assist me..That in itself gave these folks five starsbecause I have never seen any of the other centers do anything like that .Thumbs up👍 too all managers and training personnel ..job done correctly..

I used to go inside and that always sucked. Customer service is nonexistent unless you are there very early when the grownups are working. Still, when asked where an item is located, most of them point you in a random direction to get you to go away.Now I can’t even use the curbside pickup. At first it was great! Now it’s hit or miss. They’re are a couple people who are good but they’ll probably get a better job soon and leave.I guess I’m back to avoiding Walmart again. What a pain!

Never anyone working to be found. Store closes at 11pm but it seems like the department heads or people that have knowledge of anythings only works during the day. Never can find anyone for assistance after 5 or 6pm then they always try to pàss the issue off to someone else.

Always neat and clean when we come in this Wal-Mart!We came here to buy two small ceiling fans for our daughters house. When we found them it was sort of confusing trying to figure out the prices. My husband found an employee nearby and asked if she could scan a few of them. She was polite, courteous and happily came over and scanned a few for us and we found the ones we were looking for.We also had a few food items to get. Since we usually dont shop at this Wal-Mart I had to ask someone for an item I always forget what aisle they put it in and she knew exactly where to find it. Again another polite, courteous and happy to help employee! Thank you both for making our shopping easy and for an awesome experience!!!!

On old Route 66 (Chicago to Los Angeles) from the West, close to the Botanical Gardens and VA Hospital with the large solar panels across the parking lot in NW Amarillo TX, where the terrain is pleasantly rolling.

This Walmart seems to have the most people when you need help with something. My only issue is that they do not have a drive thru pharmacy.This is why I use a different pharmacy. All Walmarts dont have enough people on the registers or enough self checkouts that take cash.

Not enough cashiers! Customer service has good employees very good helpers! Cashiers that they have are very friendly and very helpful as well as the self check cashiers. Sherry is excellent at customer service! Frequently have products shortage! Shelf doctors are friendly and helpful! Many customers are rude in a hurry and almost run you over! Store is very clean! Bathroom up front needs upgraded.

Complete disappointment!!! I have rated this store 4 stars many previous visits. This visit still has me in awe! It was late, probably 1030pm, close to closing time, I entered the store with the intentions of purchasing printer/copy paper. I had recently purchased a used printer for the use of my job, which requires ALOT of printing and fed ex can get expensive. I picked up a few other items while I was there and made my way to the office supplies. There wasnt much to choose from and nothing seemed to be in the correct place according to price tags. So I picked up what I thought to be generic paper. Then proceeded to check out. One package of paper rang up 10pack for $33.?? The front end csm rang it up again wirh her hand held scanner and sure enough same price. I asked her if I could run back real quick and get different pack of paper because it was last place to buy it before everything v in town closed. She kindly gave me permission . On my way there about halfway to office supplies i was stopped by who i believe to be the night time manager he told me The store is closing and I needed to go to the checkouts. I attempted To explain to him what had happened with the printer paper and what the lady up front gave me permission to go get a different one. He rudely interrupted me motion me towards the front and said maam You need to leave the store we are closing. I said But the lady at front told me that I could get that I need them for tonight for work could you go get it for me please. He again ruley repeated himself and said no maam you need to leave the store as tourist closing. Meanwhile over the checkout my friend had about 30-35 worth groceries and miscellaneous stuff. I told the manager he was going to need to return all the stuff my friend had rang up because I wasnt spending money in that store anymore. Also asked him if he would talk to the lady at front end has occurred he more or less ignored me shrugged me off and turned around and keep walking back the same direction where he just came from. I told my friend come on im not spending any money here . I didnt believe that he didnt want me to spend the extra money there in the store and that he let that sail as the groceries go to horrible customer service Even worse management!!

8/15/21Self checkout sucks! Can i.get a W2 for the cashier work I have to do at self checkout? If I wanted to self checkout I would stay at home and shop on Amazon.com!

Ive stopped shopping in person when all the self checkouts came. Can,t get help from anyone. Always have to ask people if they work there, even the ones in vest. And always the best answer is Its not my dept.Now its waiting to see if groceries are left at the right address with specific directions from NEXT door

Come here all the time for grocery shopping. Today had to get some paint and there was no one in that department had to ask few employees to have some one help me, took them maybe 20 minutes to get someone. As soon as someone showed up everything went quick. Has everything you need at very good prices.

It was the night before school starts and the shelves and hanger were worked over but its still a great place to shop

It is a better place to shop if you are on a budget or not. I get tired of ringing up my own stuff but I at least know I paid the incorrect price when it is wrong and it happens more often in their favor. Never in mine. Imagine that. It takes forever to shop for large amounts and lately they are out of a lot of specialty foods. The prices have gone up exponentially as of late and I cant believe its all just inflation. Maybe on their part but not so much because of gas. You will save money just be wise.

Online shopping and drive up pick up worked very smoothly.

Went to get movie collections to watch while we are waiting for out internet to be set up. Found great choices for great prices. Got 6 full movie collections for under $100

Today I went in with my disabled Aunt in regards to her grocery pick up order. We came into the store a little after 8pm so we went to the customer service counter to see what options we had on getting her order. I did not realize the order was a pick up or we would have been there sooner but since she has already paid for the 4 items she ordered we werent sure on what we needed to do. Debbie was working the counter tonight and when we asked her about it she instantly got aggravated and seemed like we were inconveniencing her. She snapped at my Aunt telling her like I said. Wouldnt give us options on what to do or anything. Was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! We left deciding we would just call in the morning. Her attitude just rubbed all over me so I went back to see what her name was and she was trash talking me and my Aunt to another employee!!!! I am beyond upset and will be contacting anyone I can to make sure this is handled. She had no right to be so rude. If you run into a Debbie at this location do not even try to get help from her she is VERY RUDE and will ruin your experience at this location. If there was an option for negative stars she would have got it. She doesnt even deserve one!

I can find what I need at affordable prices and the workers are helpful.

Just got to Love Wal-Mart

This Walmart has went downhill severely. I dont know who doesnt put out wet floor signs when someone is waxing or mopping but common sense would be a necessity in future hired employees.

They have stuff marked on clearance and you get up there to pay and they wanna try and charge you the regular price. So you tell them its clearance and there are other items there just like it and they refuse to sell it to you for the clearance price. They took all the cash payments from the self checkouts so you have to stand in a extremely long line of the 1 or 2 registers that are open for about 45 mins. Come on Walmart get it together. On top of all of that a lot of the employees are rude and will not help you..

Convenient but the shelves could be better stocked

Its walmart. You go in, you get your stuff and try to get out... if you have time. 1 register open in the whole store folks. But then again, that common for walmart. Give us your money and get out!

They need to put the checkers at their lanes. Not one lane was open, just the self check outs and even then there was a waiting line.

Stockers in the way and they wont move to let you shop, shelves empty and employee talking in the middle of the aisle.

I love this Walmart, its always so clean. The only thing I wish for is more cashiers instead of tons of self check out machines.

So there I was, Weds morning. ....ready to defend like I was once back in afghanistan when it happened. The doors opened, there was a rush, and the scramble, wrestle, stampede if you will began and the smell of hope and fear filled the store!!!!! When we approached the aisle the separation started. I felt overwhelmed with separation anxiety but the power of independence overtook it and gave me the confidence to go in my own! Without permission from anybody I purchased anything I seen fit for a beast in the wild for I was in the best clearance aisle of the city!!!!! And the bathrooms were clean.

They have a good number of checkout lanes. Most are self checkouts with just a few cashier lanes. The store is typically clean and well organized, but some aisles do get cluttered. They dont do a good job of having people keep their kids from running a muck.

Its a Walk Mart. Items may or may not be the price under it, because things gets mis shelfed or prices change and the store doesnt change the price. Most employees are really nice!

Has anyone else noticed the shelves are emptier, prices are higher, and staff is harder to find? BEWARE family packs and larger quantities, (typically cheaper) are now often more expensive than the smaller packages. Sneaky way Walmart is making more money.

I literally just had to pee on a road trip after sleeping in their parking lot. Although I must say, for a retail store, theyre a top notch bed and breakfast. Only issue is its B.Y.O.B.

I went to the pharmacy it was easy to get in and out not a long wait time I was told how to use my medication when to use it and how to store it the proper way I also stopped and got my blood pressure checked and found out I had high blood pressure which was good because now I can get the proper medication to fix that. The staff was very courteous and very helpful.

Closes at 11PM Customer Service closes at 8PM. Has self checkout. Groceries separated area. Seasonal area. Handicap parking available.

As long as you dont rearrange the store I found everything I went shopping for I got, In-N-Out was quick

This is a good Walmart, I have not used the pharmacy or the car service yet. They have a lot of self checkouts open thats the majority of their lanes, especially late at night . They do close at 11:00

RV FRIENDLY WALMART OFF AMARILLO BLVD - This Walmart store has the largest parking lot of all the four Walmarts in Amarillo, TX. It is RV friendly. All rv classes fit. Several shade trees to park under around the fringes of its parking lot. Gas station walking distance. Abuleo.

Its just another Walmart, nothing stands out nothing g memorable.

1 or 2 cashiers available. All others are self checkout. If we are expected to ring up our own groceries, consider giving your customers a nice discount! Probably going elsewhere for groceries.

Very nice staff. But very few lines open at 3:30 in the afternoon., when people are coming in after school and starting to get off work. Older people do not like the self checkout. We want people.

They helped me. I wasnt happy with the initial results but the guy at electronics and Stephanie helped me out at the end... still have issues with walmart.com however.

Horrible, we were the only people in the bay area where cars are pulled in and it took more than an hour to put 4 tires on. It took four guys to put those on anyway the little Mexican girl that was at the counter was rude you would think with her being a person of color she would be nicer to other people of color. Yet a little older gentleman had to let her know that our keys were in the window and to give them to us so we could be on our way. She saw those keys if it had not been for the older white man she would have continued to ignore us. Maybe she thought she was better because she was a cashier, wrong. I think she forgot without the customer she would not have a job.

This no cash allowed at self checkout wont work if the 1 cashier refuses to check you out with cash she told me to go to customer service. That is so wrong you need to put cash allowed on some of the self checkouts. This happened around 520pm today

Pretty good selection of stuff at this one. I was able to find everything on my shopping list with the exception of erasable pens...

They were out of all kinds of stuff all over the store! A week ago and there were whole sections completely empty!!Today was much better! Although i only went in for 3 things they were out of 2😕

Staff is normally very friendly but had a hard time getting anyone over to sporting goods for help getting pellets.

Went to get oil changed in my car. They were understaffed. Cashier was busy on her cell phone. There was 1-2 guys working in the garage. One guy said he was already on overtime and was leaving. My car was 2nd in line. Took over an hour to get it changed. They didnt reset my car or place sticker to show when next one is due. Girl at register kept coughing all over as well. Very disappointed, will not go back to this one. The one at Coulter is hands down the best one Ive been to in Amarillo.

I usually make out pretty well when I venture into Wal-Mart. Went looking for inexpensive bookcases and found exactly what I needed at a very good price. We always check the clearance racks in the girls section for my daughter and she got 6 dresses for $12. I hate going there but you cant deny the values.

Food is standard diner fare, unremarkable but definitely decent quality. The staff is what makes this place a favorite. They are always super busy, but find the time to be friendly and talk to you.

Decent Walmart has e everything we needed.
