Such friendly and helpful staff! I was holding several air filters... And dropping them on my way to checkout, when a young lady took them off my hands and walked me to her register. She even offered to carry them to my truck for me. These people are always helpful!

Its a small hometown lumber store and they got pretty much everything.... Its just cool to back up the mom and pop places. They took a tornado back in 74,75 or 76 but they rebuilt and theyre still there.That tornado hit a house down the street from me then jumped up in the air and went over me and then came back down on PATCO

I was in search of a gift for my husband..Waited till the last minute, every place I checked had to have it ordered online. Went on Ace website saw it was available at Patco..just down the road!! Called and Jennifer assisted me on the phone telling me they had a few in stock. Drove down of course I couldnt find them..Anyways girl at the key station saw me wandering and helped me right away! Jennifer rang me up ..so sweet.. Will be back!!!

Was kinda strange when all 4 people were talking to a man about hurricane straps while l was already at the counter trying to check out and was told l am multi-tasking. Well not to good when l done told her non-treated wood and she charged me for treated wood. Just to say try paying attention next time. The man in the back was very helpful trying to get a couple of boards that were fairly strait because l needed them for a doorway.

November, 2020, price-gouging ammo. (Yeah, yeah... supply and demand.) Must be the only way this small business can stay around and compete with the big guys. I will never return to this place again for anything and will always take my business to reputable companies that dont jack prices up 4x.

Cashiers mask is down. Customers come in without masks. Store workers dont stop them or ask them to put one on. Cashier will stop checking you out to talk to a regular. Terrible store, terrible service.

Desperately needed a small key to my shed copied and this was the only place in 20 miles that had the machine that could copy a key that short. I had 2 made for less than $9. Very helpful staff and great prices. Highly recommend!

Patco has changed its image for the better. Customer service is outstanding! I bought a Traeger grill & a few months after purchase it did not have power when I went to use it. Patco picked up my grill to troubleshoot it & then returned it to my house! Amazing customer service!!! Thank you!

Looking for wheels for my work wagon. The guy that helped us was very kind, used a lot of his time to see what he could do. Didnt have exactly what we needed, even suggested Tractor Supply may have them. Just a really nicefellow. Theyre open on Sundays now, 8 - 5, which is a plus. Life happens on the weekend and a person still has time for Church. Theyre also going to enlarge their store, great idea. Selling plants now, some a little high, well hope that lessens.. I will be going back.

I like the fact that its a small store with a lumber yard. I recently went here because they sell car key fobs. Mine wasnt in stock, but they ordered it and it was available in less than a week. The only problem is most employees here arent extremely knowledgeable about programming and cutting them. Unfortunately, due to that fact, after waiting quite a while for programming, the key cut didnt go well and Im currently waiting on another key on order. Aside from this, the people are much more friendly and helpful compared to the big box stores. Also, they are fixing their mistake and the key fob is about half the price in comparison with a dealership. Since I dont mind the wait they get a 4 star. If the employees were more knowledgeable, it would be a definite 5.

I am so excited to find this awesome store, with awesome people! I placed a phone order and they brought it to me within the hour, for only a $10 delivery fee!I just paid Home Depot $79 for a delivery yesterday. Not to mention I feel like an invisible, unimportant nuisance at Home Depot.The staff at Paco hardware were welcoming and super helpful! I will chose them whenever I have the chance.

This is my favorite store. So its very disappointing to see them price-gouging ammo. $55 for 50 rounds of .380 ammo??? 2 weeks ago it was about $25. Come on, Patco, this isnt serving the community.

Large selection of items, friendly staff , just not a wide selection of the products that you are looking for. Not their fault, as they are not a major chain like home depot, or Lowes. But definitely worth the while, depending on your needs for a specific item. I will go back to the location, and do more business with them.

You cant go wrong by shopping at this hometown store. Their service is excellent in their prices are competitive.

I went there looking for Traeger Turkey brine but unfortunately they didnt have it but was able to get some Traeger Rubs, I have to add that its a very friendly place, but I noticed they were not very knowledgeable about Traeger products

Horrible place the girls up at the registers are rude the manager doesnt seem to know what he is doing and Everytime we get lumber it smells like pot back there and the employees look like there on something this is why my husband and I are going with a different company from now on this place is a joke and we will be telling people that they should take there money else where horrible place and if yall where smart Id hire new staff starting with the manager. Just horrible

This is a well-stocked Ace Hardware with a very friendly and helpful staff. This store has been a fixture in Alvin for many years and is constantly upgrading types and variety of merchandise.

Better overall service but a little pricey in comparison to the big name chains.

The hardware store with a bit of everything and a lot of lumber. About a block off of the main drag, Gordon St(Bus. 35), through downtown Alvin, this Ace Hardware has been supplying DIY and Contractors for years. Their extensible knowledge of materials and parts add to the value of this store. If they dont have it, they will have it for you pretty quick. Everything from fencing to fixtures. Nails, screws and bolts to piping, plugs, and plumbing. Its a goto store when you finally get tired of the hamster wheel in the orange depot building of ignorance. Great job guys.

I worked at this store for atleast a month. I was terminated for calling corperate on the store over people who could not deal with working with me. Now the reason why i called corperate on Ace Hardware is because i felt insulted by the employee's who were there longer before me, an employee that was there a little before me would always talk about other employee's or insult customers under her breath also when i would ask for help by an employee who has been there over a year would get mad and give a face, few hours later i hear her talking about me to another employee. A keyholder/cashier would walk in and talk about everyone in a "joking matter" ( he states) some dont take it as a joke , some get insulted. When i brought it up to a manager and the store owner all they told me was " I dont know what you want me to do about it. " now i didnt feel like i was being heard , i felt if i was being harassed they would not budge to take care of it how managers are supposed to. I enjoyed the job very much just wasnt enjoying the messy woman & men who enjoyed playing Jr High drama, but wish good luck to whom gets a job at Ace
