Took 2 trys:Went on looking for security cameras, found some reasonably priced and was able to order them for home delivery(10/22). The first attempt for store pickup came up canceled the following day.(10/17) Ordered on the 10/22, shipped on the 10/26, just received today 11/02. Lengthy process, I do not suggest ordering for urgent needs. Product unused yet so no review to give at this time.

Can always find something odd here. You might not see it again. Some of the merchandise is higher than other stores while other items are the same price. Friendly staff.

Didnt have much of a selection when I went. Looked like it was going out of business or something a lot of the shelves were bare. And some of the things I saw there I could have found cheaper at Walmart. But the staff were friendly

I love this place! I found my favorite folgers coffee for cheaper than Walmart, among several other things! Its awesome!

Big lots did not have what I wanted in the store

I always find deals on items here that dont exist other places. If you find something, you better pick it up because it might not be there next time. I have also bought several bedding sets, as well as found deals on furniture for other rooms in the house.

I came there looking for storage containers to store my cereal. I had been everywhere looking for them and sure enough the last place I look, but the first place I mentioned to find them. While I was there I looked at a few things I hope to go back and buy. Lots of neat home decor reasonably priced.

Bought a sofa and a love seat online. So I went ahead and sold my current couch and rented a truck to go get the new couch. Then I get an email saying that they did not have those in stock. Now, here I am, with a rented truck with no use and a empty living room with no couch to sit on. Thanks a lot Big Lots!

They have good coupons. You just have to sign up. Today 20% off everything you buy (With coupon). I mean you get what you pay for. But Ive found items that I really like. Better than dollar store and a much bigger selection.

I went there to find some totes for some stuff I was giving away. I got 2 of them at a low cost.

Employees were friendly and helpful. I found most of the items I was looking for, and some were on sale. Physical distancing, one way isles, and wearing masks were all in place.

They have the best masks for sale that I have found anywhere. They fit well and are easy to breathe through which means that I dont have the desire to pull them down from my nose like I see 75% of the people doing.

Friendly staff, store needs a little cleaning, well stocked for Christmas.

They never have anything and they are always mess and the employee are very rude.

So disorganized. Seriously they need to get In there and clean up their stock, stiff constantly I. The wrong place, lines 6 people long with one lane open. If they want to be competitive with the new stores popping up in Alton then, they may want to clean up the store and have been cashiers. This is the last store I would go only if Im sent by my mom or I have to. The problem us their stock, they have SOME good stuff, it has to do with the way the store looks, constantly I feel like im walking into a hood store. We dont have a hood store in a town. We have stores in hoods.

They have a lot of deals and interesting selections. I like that their stock items change and are replaced with new products, and the seasonal products can be interesting. If Im ever near a Big Lots and have some time on my hands I pop in to see what I can find, I usually always walk out of there with at least a few purchases.

They are always dirty and I would never go.in there again if I wasnt talked Into ot!!!!

Didnt have what I was looking for but still a good place.

Customers reward program promises to send you a $5 coupon but they send it weeks after you sign up and then its only good for a couple of days. Store manager tried to honor the coupon but was only able to give me $3 off. I think this is a very deceptive practice, if the coupon is an email coupon it should be available for your next purchase as stated in the advertisement.

All staff take time to be interested in my questions and my business. Have been shopping Big Lots for years and expect to continue. My product was furniture. Living room chair.

I recently bought a couch here and had an excellent experience. When I picked up my couch, it was wrapped entirely in cardboard and plastic to protect it. I appreciated that so much.

As a retired person and veteran living on Social Security I had always appreciated Big Lots. Unfortunately, today you have lost a customer over a bad in-store experience.Today, 1/4/17 at 12:52 PM, I took a Gift Receipt in with an unused keyboard that I had received as a gift for Christmas. Since the reason for the return was that I already had one of these I asked for in-store credit. The sales associate 1346851 said just a minute but hit the wrong key on the cash register and had the amount returned to the original purchasers credit card instead by mistake. I asked to speak to the manager who admitted that it was a mistake but that there was nothing he could do about it now.Now I am out the gift and the in-store credit I was entitled to. Most uncomfortable will be having to contact the original purchaser and tell them that Big Lots credited their account and that I didnt get a gift as a result. This is very unpleasant as I am sure you would feel if it happened to you.I will not be a customer of your store any more and am forced to tell friends and family how I was treated by your employees. People need to know that if they buy a present at Big Lots that this could happen to them also.Please contact the store manager and ask that they train their cashiers properly to avoid losing more customers in the future.

The ceiling is always leaking in spots. While store is usually organized the building its self is in need of repair.Makes me nervous to buy food items due to the appearance of ceiling. Rodants and other creatures could easily get through the holes.

Helped my sister to get a new chair , recliner, the store was clean and neat, great customer service,good price on their products.

I was very satisfied with my trip to this store. The employees were very freindly as well as helpful. The shelves were well stocked. They were also putting out seasonal merchandise and they made sure you were finding what you needed.

Their dried fruit selection was an unexpected delight. But I think the aisles are cramped and the store is hard to navigate sometimes.

I bought a Sealy mattress for a fraction of the cost of buying it at a furniture store or at a mattress store. And they gave me 6 months same as cash.

Not good. None of their furniture is available at the store or online. So no big items are for sale...

They have just about verything u need, give them a try might find something u like!!!!!
