I have dealt with Howard Brothers many many times. They are very knowledgeable helpful and know all their products well. Will always use them for any of my parts or equipment needs.

Howard Brothers is my go to place for all of my power equipment needs. The staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Colby helped me at the store several times and has always gone out of his way to make sure my needs were met.

This location is very different from the Mundy Mill location. Alpharetta is geared towards lawn tools and equipment service.I called Mundy Mill who did not have the digger I wanted. Mundy Mill called and had my foggier reserved for the next day. Service at Alpharetta was quick and efficient. I was in and out in less than seven minutes.

Great service and customer service also. Staff went above and beyond to help me find and purchase a O turn lawnmower and getting it serviced and ready. Also with attachments. Made feel like part of the family instead just the next customer in line. Looking forward to continuing business with them.

I had a great experience here when picking out a new mower. This was my first big mower purchase so I had a lot of questions, but Parker and the other guys took time to answer them all and provide guidance without trying to go for the constant upsell. Everything from the initial shopping visit, to the purchase, to the delivery and walkthrough was above and beyond.

Every time I have to grab a part from Howard’s, the staff makes you feel like your bothering them. Even working through that, they have giving me the wrong part several times. Needless to say, I will not be return and would not recommend them.

I went to pick up my chainsaw today, nov. 25, 2020, and they wanted to charge me a $42 repair bill that I never authorized or knew about before submitting the chainsaw to them for repairs. I had spoken with a store clerk at the time I dropped off my chainsaw and it was supposed to be fixed under Echos warranty plan or they should have called me about any non-warranty repair items, but they did not.Also, the store manager, Chris, claimed that I had flooded the chainsaw and I asked him how he knew this and he said he could tell it was flooded when I walked in the door and he was standing about 20 feet away. So, he is essentially claiming to have omniscient powers by telling that a chainsaw is flooded without looking at it or touching it, just by being within the vicinity of the chainsaw he is able to diagnose the problem. Does that make sense? I did not think so either. In fact, the store attendant who took in the chainsaw tried to start by repeatedly pulling on the starter rope and was the one who likely flooded the chainsaw and then they tried to push it off on me and charge me $42 for the repair. How low can these people be?

They carry a lot of different brands, Stihl and Echo are the main hand helds. Mowers are Exmark and Scag for the main commercial units. They do have honda push mowers as well as Exmark. Also have Tru Cut reel mowers and a little bit of everything from ladders to loppers to battery powered equipment.

Along with a friend, we took our Tru Cut lawn mowers to Howard Brothers in Alpharetta for an annual service. For efficiency, my friend opened an account and both mowers were serviced under his account, however, I paid for my mower service using my credit card. At the drop off, the front desk employees were courteous and professional and even helped to unload the mowers. The experience was similar for the pickup.I was shocked at the bad condition my mower was returned to me because they stored the 2 mowers outside. As a proud Tru Cut owner, I cleaned my mower after every cut and store it in my garage. Prior to taking my mower in for a service, I cleaned all the chains.The mower was returned to me in a very poor condition. There were dry leaves caught in the reel, my roller picked up surface rust and my chains are now rusty - all this happened in a period of a couple of weeks. There was some dried whitish powdery stuff all over the rear of the mower. I am now having to clean the mower to restore it to its original condition. The service was not cheap. The front desk checkout guy did apologize for storing our mowers outside because the workshop did not have space. Does Tru Cut hold their Dealers to a high standard? if so, then Alpharetta Howard Brothers only get 2 stars for check in and check out! They left me with a bad first impression so I will not use them again!Update: I have been using my mower this spring and it turns out that the adjustment done by Howard in November caused the reel to rotate while activating the wheel motion. The adjustment was too tight. I called Howard to ask for advice and the front desk was not knowledgeable and friendly. downgrading them to lowest possible rating!

Waited over 3 weeks to get Cub Cadet Pro Z Blades ordered, twice they forgot to order them. Called for the 5th time, and Scott said yea they are here. I said where you ever going to call me? He stated, We dont call anyone. I said, for a buniness you act like a D$@×, and you guys messed up 3 times. He stated to take my buiness elsewhere. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!

Awful customer services and rude people that work at the store in Alpharetta. Try to call and they pick up phone put you on hold and dont come back on the line. Simply an awful experience with this company!

Fair prices and knowledgeable staff. It took way too long before someone helped me select a chainsaw, but it was worth the wait. Ill definitely go back whenever I need lawn equipment, and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to others.

Very disappointed. Honda engine pressure washer was used one time. They reluctantly took it in for repair under 2-yr warranty. They alledged carburetor was gummed up but it wasnt when taken apart and was squeaky clean inside! I was charged $96 when it was under Honda 2-yr warranty. Manager verbally degraded Honda without even asking them to cover repair. They did not even want to work on it and took 18 days to repair it. I was going to buy a $300 hedger, but they gave no indication they cared about the customer.Reply to business Response:Correct, my unit is a Troybilt with a Honda engine that Honda said could be serviced under warranty at Howard Brothers. But unfortunately, I was treated with resistance from the start. The unit was not misused and the carburetor was not gummed up. There was no desire to do a repair under the warranty from the start. Honda would simply not condone how this facility is declining valid warranty repairs to small engine consumers.

Not the friendliest, or most-outgoing bunch...but they know their stuff. Not sure if people of color get the best customer service here. I wont go back, if I dont have to.

Almost everytime I come in here and get a replacement part, I find out while trying to install the part that its not the right one. I even give the model number to prevent this from happening. It doesnt happen all the time, just most of the time. However they do always fix the mistake.

After purchasing a Stihl Chain Saw and AX from Howard Brothers over the past two months. I stopped in to pick up some VP Fuel 50-1 gas mix. As their was no price on the can I figured it would be at MSRP. which is $19.95 a gallon. I inserted my credit card and the receipt printed off showing I was charged $29.95. I said only cow that is 50% more than MSRP. The guy in a snarky voice said yeap..we are a small shop..not what their website says....Outrageously over priced..Alpharetta GA buyers beware. Tractor Supply has the same products and wont try and rip you off.
