They promised my work in a couple of days but after following up twice the following week they said they were very busy and would again try in a few days. The owner then referred me to another shop that he said was much faster at doing the work. I asked why he didnt refer me there last week instead of wasting my time to which he had no answer.

Legitimately this company is the worst Ive ever dealt with. My mower was returned without fixing the issue I sent in in the shop for (without any communication!) and now my mower doesnt even run. So $360 dollars towards to making my mower not work anymore? Oh did I mention the job took 3.5 weeks to mess my mower up. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

Half of the pieces would not start after they were delivered. I called the office to update them on the fact the two pieces of equipment still wouldn’t start.They scheduled someone to come to my home 10am a few days later, but when I called 9:45 the day of the visit, I was told “the visit had to be pushed back”.No re-schedule time was stated, I went about my day. Then I get a call from their office around 11 am stating that their mechanicwas sent to my house and since I didn’t respond I would have to pay extra for themechanic’s time.I of course refused after fully paying for all equipment to be fixed since no one told me WHEN the mechanic was to arrive and I was in a WFH meeting.I found out later, my credit card was charged an additional $40 without my authorization!!!!This company is very unprofessional in execution of simple customer service (like calling a customer to let them know when to expect someone at their home to plan their schedule around that expected time), and unethical in making unauthorized charges to my credit card.I’ll never do business with this company again. I suggest you also find someone else for your lawn equipment service needs like I did before you pay for repairs and have the same experience I had.

My experience with Hwy 9 was too bad And expensive to let slide without warning others. I had my husqvarna riding mower tuned up last week and they charged me $210. I thought it to be a fair price for a quality tune up and clean up. Unfortunately, the mower was dirtier when I picked it up than when I dropped it off. They clearly changed the oil because the mower was covered in oil. Skipped the 10 second wipe down I guess. The deck was caked with dirt and grass from a season of use and they didn’t touch it. How do you level the cut with a deck holding 10lbs of uneven debris? There was no evidence of work or tune up anywhere else as the dirt wasn’t disturbed. $210 for a messy oil change? They did work quickly, but it couldn’t have taken 30 minutes of effort. I hate to post this negative review but it’s the truth. I’ll happily post a positive review if this is handled well!

They took great care of me and my Troy-bilt riding lawn mower. Bob is honest and trustworthy, and I will use him and his support team for future repairs. Even though my lawn mower needed repair at the peak of their busy season and there were some unexpected issues, they were very responsive and made sure I was happy.

11 days just for initial diagnosis although it was crystal clear the drive belt needed to be replaced? Nope, thanks.

I am not really one that easily writes a review....but here one was justified. I bought a brand new gas powered pressure washer from Amazon that upon delivery and assembly just would not start. I followed all instructions that came with it. After getting my workouts I gave up and contacted the seller. Seller indicated I could return the unit but would have to pay for shipping...which was exorbitant. Being new to the area I looked up repair places and came across this repair shop. From the staff that took my call to the handson service by the staff on arrival was a refreshing change. The gentleman that serviced me solved the problem in 10 min. Apparantly the unit just needed oil to be put in (they ship them without any in there). There was no indication of that or in the operating manual. Long story short, I got my problem solved and was very happy with all the guidance provided.

Been taking my riding mower here for years. Ive been very happy with their service. Bob is an honest, hardworking guy. They are crazy busy, but try their best to deliver a good experience.

My Legacy reel mower needed some maintenance. It took a little longer than I expected but it was because they wanted to do things right.It was well worth the wait. My mower runs and cuts like new. My lawn hadnt look so good in a long time. I will be using them always.

Dont go here, the reviews dont lie. Do yourself a favor, drive 2 miles north up highway 9 and go to the Ace Hardware repair shop. You will get better customer service, more knowledgeable staff, better pricing, quicker turn times.

Gaurantee is to charge twice for one job. Refuses to return mower (property) with a paid claim? Theft. At this point an authority will judge. But go ahead you judge their service as well.Well it Looks like the owner of this company is good at writing fiction in his response to the above review. It only took a couple of months for him to summarize this fantasy. If you want a trustworthy, dependable, skilled lawnmower repair shop I would suggest you keep looking. It took a police report to get this company to return my property.

EXCELLENT SERVICEMy 1-year old push mower would not start even after flushing fuel system, checking spark plug, etc.Carl at HWY 9 Lawn Mower Repair took less than 2min and a friendly smile to get it running again. I definitely recommend trying their service if you need your mowing equipment worked on.

Brought my power washer in and spoke with the owner, Bob. After describing that it would run with starter fluid sprayed in, but wouldnt otherwise after being in storage, and we both agreed that it was likely a carb cleanout/rebuild from the ethanol. He said we take a $40 deposit, and repairs will run right about that much, and indicated that it would be ready mid-week. Not hearing back at the end of the week, I went in again. He originally couldnt find the paperwork, nor was my ticket entered into their computer system. He finally found it all, and asked if they could have a few more days. When I went in to pick it up, the bill was $139 (!!) yet they NEVER called me to approve having the bill 300% higher than estimate. So it took twice as long as promised, and cost three times as much as estimated. NEVER AGAIN!

Had a mower on consignment for over 4 months and I trusted on the owner to try to get it sold. Move to the Columbus Ga area so I would have to call Hwy 9 Mower and repair to follow up on things. Well the majority of the time couldn’t get anyone on the phone. Time after time I would call finally would get a sales associate on the phone and was told the owner will give me a call, which he never did. Actually got him on the phone once and he told me he was busy doing payroll can he call me back. Well he didn’t. This went on for 4 months. Actually drove from Columbus Ga 3 times to check on my mower which is in Alpharetta Ga 2 hrs away. We’ll find out my mower was sitting outside in the elements all this time and won’t start. He puts a battery in without my consent and tells me the motor is no good. Geez I wonder why??? Outside in the rain hello. Finally rented a trailer to pick it up. Worst business I’ve ever dealt with. DO NOT USE THEM !!!!!!

Be aware that this is the same place as Grassland Power Inc (1.8 stars), Hwy 9 Lawn Mower Repair and Sales (2.1 stars) and Phoenix Mower Repair (1 star)....please read the horrible reviews before doing business with this crook.Called and spoke with Bob about a brand new pushmower (literally used it twice) that I had left in an unheated garage over the winter with ethanol gas in it and wouldnt start. Bob said it was common and the carb was likely clogged and just needed a cleaning. He quoted $69. After chasing him on the phone for three days, he finally brought the lawnmower back over a week later and the bill was $160!! When I asked why he said they had to replace the air filter and spark plug (remember this unit was brand new and had only been used twice.) I grinned and paid the guy knowing I would never do business with him again and thankful to have my mower back, but then a week later the spark plug literally blew out of the socket with a loud bang. I looked at the brand and noticed Torch, which if you look online is the cheapest Chinese knock-off brand available and causes all kinds of problems with small engines. I agree with a former poster that Bob seems like a nice old guy with Alzheimers, but he is really a shyster. Stay far clear.

First and last visit to this establishment, worst service experience I have ever had. I dropped my rider off 4 weeks ago, they said should be 3-4 days. Two weeks later they says its fixed, I go up with my trailer to pick it up and they left the key on and killed my battery and then after jumping it, I drive it to load up and the same problem I brought it in for happens again. It wont drive! So after already paying $144, for a broken tractor they say they will drop it off to my house for the inconvenience. They order parts, never call me to let me know whats going on, so I call them 10 days later and they act annoyed that Im calling. At this point they act like they still havent received the part but then 10 minutes later call and day it just arrived and they will have it fixed today or tomorrow and will drip it off. Two days later, still no tractor, I call at 4:50, they pick up and hang up on me, soI call back and it goes to vm. I leave vm asking where my tractor is, they call me back while Im at work and leave two messages telling meI owe $60 andI can come pick up my tractor. Really?! So today I go and get it and ofcourse the battery is dead, no problems with it prior to going there, I pay $60 and go take it home and notice that they put the body back on wrong so now the gas gauge doesnt work. Terrible experience, avoid this place and warn your friends too.

Since the owner threatened to sue me if I gave a bad review, Im only going to say I will never do business here again. Beware!
