Our favorite auto repair shop of all time. We are retired now to Saint Simons Island, GA (love the beach), Emil and Vladimir always took great care of our cars besides being terrific people. Wish they had a shop down here. Highly recommend for quality service, fair prices and a little personality added on top.

These guys do a great job diagnosing the problem quickly. One time i was sure I had a particular problem, they looked at it and that there was no problem and explained why the symptoms a I reported were not a problem. Im grateful to have an alternative to the dealer.

Weve been bringing our Volvos to Emil and Vlad for decades and they find ways to keep each one running safely for hundreds of thousands of miles. Vlad and Emil have been taking good care of my BMW E46 for nearly seven years now. I drive the 20 miles to Holcomb Auto for every oil change, tune-up, brake job, and anything else my car needs. These guys _know_ German cars and are trustworthy. Theyve been in business 21 years and employ superior mechanics--just ordinary guys who truly know these cars inside and out. If there is something they cant do, they tell you.Everyone there is so friendly that I enjoy my stay every time. I actually look forward to seeing them. Seriously! Other customers always come in smiling and happy--and thats the best referral you can hope for. These are genuinely good people running an honest business.

There is a website that mechanics use to determine how many hours of labor will be needed to do certain services based on the make and model of your car. Tell me how an upper oil pan replacement on my car, which was supposed to be a 3-4 hour job, but ended up being a 9 hour job for these guys? These guys will not only rip you off on the cost of their labor but also by the cost of their parts! I was told by Emil that a brand new upper oil pan from the dealership costed $560. Turns out I called Jim Ellis Hyundai and they told me the part was actually $400! Then on top of that, these guys will not only over-charge you on their labor but these guys will say they require more hours of labor THEN blame it on the condition of your car. These guys had to call me twice to change and add more hours of labor they spent because these guys didnt know how to drop the upper oil pan without having to drop the transmission and its because they did not follow the manufacturers service manual in order to figure out how to do it without having to drop the WHOLE transmission. I wish I wouldve towed the car to another shop.UPDATE: a few months later the car broke down and had to be junk yarded. The upper oil pan installation that these people installed came undone while on I85 and the car motor ultimately blew. I was lucky to have been close to the right side of the highway to pull over immediately without collision. So much Oil was everywhere even the state patrol pulled over to check why such a mess was made.

Thanks to the people who provided reviews, I starting taking our Volvo V70 to Holcomb Auto on 2965 Holcomb Bridge Rd two years ago for repairs. The service and quality of work there have always been excellent! Thank you very much!

I brought my Acura TSX to inspect an engine protection shield- it was hanging on one side. They did a temporary fix - for free! - and advised to order a part from Acura dealership. Even inspected my breaks while car was lifted up. Honest work ad no push for up sale! From now on it is my go to car service!
