Josh and his staff are fantastic, took my X5 to them after another Auto repair shop near Bavarian had it for 4 weeks and couldnt get it to run properly and was told by them to sell the car it will never run rightBavarian had it for 2 weeks diagnosed it ,fixed it and it runs perfect now....definitely will be using Josh and his team for my future X5 service......word of advice.....BMWs need to go to trained BMW technicians like Bavarian who know what that are doing...not repair shops who are not trained to fix these kinda cars.

I brought my 2019 Mini Cooper Countryman here a month ago to get the brakes checked on - the MINI Dealership told me I needed to get the brakes replaced, and I wanted to get a second opinion and price quote, so I decided to check out Bavarian Motor Cars. Im a delivery driver for a local restaurant and one of our customers recommended I try them out after seeing my car. I wasnt sure at first, I live in Buford so its a bit of a drive, but Im so glad I did it! They did a complete front brake service, with the pads, rotors and the pad wear sensor. They quoted me a much better price than the dealership did and I hadnt even told them what I was quoted there. The service was surprisingly quick as well, shorter than I expected for sure! The team was amazing and did an incredible job helping me with my car, I havent had a single issue with my breaks in the month since the repair was done. The best BMW shop in town! I have been using their services for years now. The prices are competitive. They are 100% honest and always explain in full detail what should be done. All repairs are well done and solid - done right the first time. I never had to return to have anything corrected. They always take time to talk to you and answer all your questions. On many occasions I stopped by just to ask some questions or get help with something I couldnt figure out on my own and they are always happy to help. I never go anywhere else.

Man, these guys are great and extremely honest. They found an issue and allerted me that though my car is 8 yrs old, the $2K fix is covered on an extended 10 yr warranty from the dealership. Whats crazy is this item was supposedly replaced last year, the day before I bought the car from a 3rd party. And the place that fixed it made the guy selling it to me pay the $2K. When I asked them why they did the repair instead of sending it to the dealership to be fixed for free, they said they werent tied into the system that shows them when cars have items under warranty that should be covered... I will only take my car here going forward. Thanks guys!

I took my BMW 550 GT to Bavarian Motor Cars to have them look at some issues I was having with my air suspension. Josh the service manager was great, he explained their process from start to finish. They took my car in and worked through diagnosing the problem. They sent me detailed reports via text message that showed all the issues they found and their recommended repairs. It was more detailed than the reports I got from my FORMER BMW dealer. In one trip to BMC they have earned my future business. One of my concerns of owing a BMW is the cost of service. Bavarian Motor Works has taken the sting out of this concern! Josh and the family are always friendly, professional and cost conscious when servicing my vehical. I highly recommend the company.

Just...... WOW!!! First visit and I was absolutely floored. These folks fully understand the customer centric business model and Ive given that compliment only 3 or 4 times.... ever... in 57 years. Being a techie, I really like the way they have automated EVERYTHING. You get emails when your maintenance is complete with all the details and recommendations and an online opportunity to get a quote on them as well as make appointments for service. How much better would you want a shop to be???? Heres the kicker The repair guide says you need to replace/repair x, y and z. We recommend repair x now, monitor y for a while and see if it becomes an issue down the road, and z, well, thats really a waste of money at this point but well watch it. When have you EVER heard anything like that from a professional mechanic shop or a dealer????? Friends, if youre not using Bavarian Motor Cars for your auto service youre making a mistake!!!Update: 3 years and no change in the way they do business. They are SO superior to other shops, we still take our MINI to them all the way from Tennessee. Its simply worth the drive to do business with these people.

This was my first time working with BMC. I called them for a drive belt repair on my BMW 428i. Their price was a LOT lower than BMWs, and their customer service was outstanding. The owners as well as Josh are extremely friendly, and make you feel welcome. The repair was done quickly, and i was very satisfied with the service i received. This resulted in my husband checking his Mercedes S550 in for service as well, as he was looking for a new shop. A win-win for all, BMC and our family. i will definitely go back for the next service I need don my BMW. The only comment I would like to make: due to the current Covid-19 situation: we wear masks when we go into a shop or office where we get into closer contact with people, and we expect the same from people in public. This did not take place (4 Stars only for this reason only). Even though the team did sanitize the surfaces in the car when we picked it up, which was very much appreciated. Thank you to the BMC Team for an overall great experience, and a rose to take home at the end of the day!

This is the ONLY place Ill take my BMW or Mini Cooper for service. John, Michelle and Josh are the most professional, knowledgeable and KIND folks youll ever have the pleasure of knowing. Ive been going to them for about 4 or 5 years now and they never disappoint. I trust them to maintain my current vehicles and when I go to buy a new one, Ill have them check it out first. They have earned my trust and Im glad theyre in our community.

The BMW Dealership told me it was going to cost me 4K to get the job done, I called Bavarian Motor Cars and spoke to Josh who did an excellent job and provided accurate estimates up front before any work had been done and was very flexible when it came to availability which was excellent as I am always very busy. Now on to the actually work. They took a few hours to do a complete brake service top to bottom and had it back to me by then end of the day. I had the option to go for aftermarket rotors that are dimpled and slotted and look amazing and perform amazingly on my car (2016 BMW 340i Dinan) all in all I can’t recommend Bavarian Motor Cars more for their reasonable prices (at least when it comes to German cars lol), expert level work, and amazing customer service. Everyone was polite and quick to help/answer any and all of my questions overall you can’t go wrong with Bavarian Motor Cars

I had a transmission issue on my 2004 530i for years that the dealer couldnt figure out that it was truly the transmission. I am a first time customer and was very impressed by the professionalism, courtesy and workmanship of the business. I had a leak in the drivers side front and back of my 528 and needed to get it fixed. Josh explained the process step by step to me and gave me an accurate estimate before starting. I received regular updates on the progress of the diagnosis and then the proposed correction. I had the work done and was very happy with the results. I was so impressed that I came back a couple of weeks later to have an oil leak in the valve gasket fixed. Josh even called me back a couple of weeks later to ensure that the repairs were fine and the car running well. Their customer service was first rate. I would highly recommend Bavarian Motor Cars.

Great repair shop!I took my Mercedes C300 to Bavarian Motor Cars to have them look at a vibration I was experiencing.Josh, the service writer, met me at the door. He asked a few questions and explained what they’d need to do in order to diagnose the issue. He was courteous and professional throughout the visit.I was immediately put to ease upon meeting John, the lead technician. John and I drove the car to verify the vibration and he explained possible problem areas and the process they’d use to troubleshoot the issue.After talking with him a while, I knew he was a pro! Within a day, they had diagnosed the problem, and had ordered parts. Although they diligently tried. They were unable to fix my 1986 BMW 535i. I think it was due to the fact that modern cars are a little more complicated so i think most shops focus on newer technology cars from the early 2000s to the present. They might have if they would have kept at it but it most likely would have been costly to me. This would have been the third try and i hadnt planned on spending the resources. This was the second shop i had taken it to. They were much better than the first which was Harrison Motor Sports which i do not recommend. I wound up taking it to a third shop. Lin specialty automotive in Lawrenceville , Ga. He fixed the issue is less than an hour. He actually fixed it before i got home. It was a clogged fuel injector and a coolant temp sensor. To be honest, Bavaria did mention the temp sensor might have been the issue or part of the issue. I left it there to have him perform other work. But Bavaria did try. And because of the issue with the throttle body it did convince them to order extra parts in case they have other customers with older BMWs and they need to rebuild the throttle body.

If I could give Bavarian Motor Cars 10 stars I would! I recently purchased a Mini Cooper and had taken it for routine maintenance/repair at one of the local Cooper dealerships before I found this shop. I unfortunately, had a horrible experience there on multiple occasions. Thankfully, I found Bavarian Motor Cars and what an incredible night and day difference there has been between the two! Josh and the team there have been able to diagnose, and repair things on my car that the dealership wasn’t able to. They have also gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with every step in the process. There is NO comparison to the level of knowledge, HONESTY, and professionalism that can be found with the folks at Bavarian Motor Cars, and I will continue to bring my Cooper there exclusively moving forward!

In my experience, Bavarian Motor Cars is the absolute best — and not just locally. I drove over an hour to reach them and didn’t regret it one bit. The folks here are skilled, current in their knowledge and diagnostic capabilities, thorough, and friendly. BMCs staff made me feel more like family as I sat having coffee in their comfortable waiting area, with complimentary WiFi, where I was made to feel at home. Before my car was finished, even before my car was out of the bay, I received a text that included a 19-point inspection report with photos of my car as well as additional, informative videos (from AutoNet TV); BMC and I now have a meticulous, detailed assessment of my car’s “health” for future reference. I only wish my doctor were so thorough... and so reasonably priced. If you own a BMW or Mini Cooper, I can’t recommend Bavarian Motor Cars highly enough. But if you don’t own a BMW or Mini, you might consider buying one just so you can take your car here!

Bavarian Motor Cars is a top notch business who genuinely care about their customers. Although I have never had a problem after a visit here, I feel they will make sure any problems are promptly addressed.They have everything you can get at the dealership (technicians with up to date knowledge, comfortable waiting area with good coffee, and even a loaner car if needed) just on a smaller scale...which is a good thing.

They also have a great system that emails/texts the mechanics report with photos, so you know are getting what you pay for. Awesome company, best in the area without a doubt!

These guys are very much a full service shop and know what they are doing. They go out of their way to make their customers happy. I know this because Im a very difficult customer. Michelle and Josh hung the moon in my opinion. They dont come cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Brought my 2016 E-350 MBenz to fix a noise that the MBenz dealer told me was the shocks and they wanted over $2000 to fix it. So I Took it to GCR instead and asked them to fix the shocks; they said to let them make sure it’s the shocks first. After checking the car over, they said the shocks were fine—that the problem was just a spring clip. Their bill was only $180! Quite a bit difference from the M Benz dealer! Mr. Anderson, the owner, is very thorough with the work completed on the car and he does value his customer’s satisfaction. I got my BMW Rear Brake Service done and it was completed on time and what was surprising, was that a loaner car was provided (I wasn’t expecting one). After the service was completed, Mr. Anderson will call to make sure everything was in tip-top shape and whether everything met my satisfaction. Bavarian Motor Cars has done an excellent job working on my 9 year old MINI Cooper that recently needed extra attention due to a number of oil leaks that had sprung up due to higher mileage and age. They also fixed my convertible top that was leaking due to age and weather. I was amazed how Josh could explain exactly what he would do to fix the leak in the convertible top. About a month ago I went to Bavarian Motor Cars, because my check engine light turned on. I was told that it was due to the Spark Plugs and that they ought to be changed, which was more than $200. plus labor.A week after the light turned back on and they told me that the MAF needed to be changed, which is about $460.00. plus labor. I decided to take it to a different mechanic, who wanted to perform more tests than just the computer scan. He came to the conclusion that the Air Boot needed to be changed, which was $36.00. plus labor. I have not had any problems with it ever since.I would only recommend this place if you are willing to play Whack-A-Mole with BMW parts.The costumer service is very good, and they are return your car in a reasonable amount of time. They only use new BMW parts, in order to establish a standard of quality for their parts. Their owner can tell you anything about a BMW engine.

I drive over an hour to have Bavarian Motor Cars keep my 2013 Mini Coupe S running. They are my only choice: extremely knowledgable, beyond helpful, certainly friendly, and absolutely reasonably-priced. Thank you, Josh, and the entire family. Before coming across Bavarian Motor Cars I had way less than satisfactory experiences from dealership service departments as well as independents which made me dread ever needing work done. However Josh and all the staff at Bavarian Motor Cars have changed my attitude and restored my belief that there are still great businesses out there to work with. Do not hesitate in making a call and trusting what you are hearing from these guys. They are a real difference in this sometimes not so easy to deal with industry.

Id become disenchanted with the service Ive been getting at the dealer.Since my car is no longer under warranty, Ive been looking for a local service provider I could trust. I recently came into several issues that needed to be addressed. The folks at Bavarian Motor Cars really took care of me. Without notice, they took the car in, provided me with a loaner, and methodically addressed all of the issues, one of which was not easy to diagnose. They are extremely knowledgeable, detail oriented, and seem to care deeply about delivering high quality - more so than Id ever experienced at the dealer. If youve got a BMW, this is the place to go for service.

Family business who does a great job. Pretty much the only place I can take my car and drive away knowing that no follow-up will be required. They do it once, and they do it right. Plus, they are extremely nice people.

All I can say is WOW! Recently purchased a 10 year old MINI Cooper with some idiosyncrasies that need attention. Brought the vehicle to this shop because they came highly recommended online. They performed an initial oil change service and inspection, some other needed maintenance repairs and services, and they are currently guiding me through the process of getting this vehicle dialed in for the long haul. Frontman Josh has an incredible amount of knowledge and the patience of a saint with all of my incessant questions, and John has gone above and beyond to diagnose issues and propose a plan to work through this car’s particular gremlins. Everyone in the shop treats you like yours is the most important car in the world. An exceptional, honest and trustworthy family business that goes the extra mile for customers!

There are very few things they cannot do, repair/maintenance-wise; in those cases they will offer their best advice, and without pressure, a recommendation. Take it! Just found Bavarian recently. Had two problems. First was needed to be fix Expansion tank and associated parts. Done on time and received a Loaner car while work being done. Price was right and personnel at all levels was great to work with.Next will schedule time to repair my convertible top. They even found parts at better price than what we would need to purchase from BMW.In summary, they helped me save money.Next time I will take Donuts.

We have been taking our vehicles to John and Michelle at Bavarian Motor Cars for several years. Its great to go to a mechanic you can trust, that gets the job done, and gives you fair pricing. Recently when making a decision to purchase a vehicle we made sure to get another BMW because we didnt want to have to go look for a different mechanic! Highly recommend these folks!

Bavarian Motor Cars is the only shop I trust! I have been to numerous other shops around the Atlanta area until I had my car serviced here. My 550i was slipping from 2nd to 3rd gear and every time I came to a stop my car would lunge forward. I took my car to two other shops where they both told me I needed a new transmission and that was the only way to fix the problem. Another shop upgraded software that costs me almost $350 which didnt fix anything. I then took my car to Bavarian where they listened to every detail about the issues my car was having. I asked them to check transmission fluid due to the fact that the other shops insisted that is was at a correct level. Within a few days, Bavarian called me to explain that my transmission fluid was so low that had I not brought it to them sooner I would have had a serious problem. Bavarian completed a full transmission service within a few days. Since I had this service my car drives perfect with no issues whatsoever. The staff at Bavarian provides great honesty, customer service and work! Bavarian services my 550i, 330i and X5M and I wouldnt take them anywhere else!

Josh was great, very helpful and professional person and explained everything that needed work on a used BMW I purchased. They got work done quick and followed up a few days later to see if everything was working well. I will be a customer for life, based on my experience with them. I am so tired of getting ripped off by other dealers and service shops.
