I was half awake and accidently asked for cash back on one of the self scans that had a sign that read NO CASH BACK lol...so a lady had to call for assistance so she could get me my cash.She was very helpful and friendly and the store is always very clean.

I arrived early, luckily I was able to acquire my desired items and get out before it got crazy busy. My purchases included chuck roast that turned out very good and some hard to find frozen items. The only bump was the Dales ale I desired was not available. This was the second time I could not find it there, maybe discontinued selling. I used the self scan without issue, the staff there not overly social, avoiding eye contact. When exiting in my auto I couldnt help but noticed all the garbage in the parking lot. It appears people are eating in their cars there and littering extensively. Car loads of trash

Tomorrow was my stock with the ice cream I ordered. However the representative that brought my groceries out to the car they utilize the storage bags that I had in the car to keep my items cool. Thank you so much for your assistance

Great store. Found everything and clean environment. Only thing I didnt like was waiting in line to cash out. It took about 1 hour in Line. So I gave them a 4-star rating

Best Meijer in the area. Cleaner with better inventory than Lincoln park or Detroit.Only reason its not 5 stars is because its always so busy. Lines are often long, even with self checkout. Usually not enough lanes open. Traffic on the Hill is a nightmare.

Line moves quick un like Walmart.

They may be more pricey, but they are definitely my favorite when it comes to taste. The food is just top notch, love their salads too. Just wish it were a little more affordable because Id probably be eating there a whole lot more.

Used the scan and go app for the first time.once you figure it out its fast and easy.but it could use a little instruction on where to remove things and they could use a price checker. But other than that it was great.

I highly appreciate the fact that they had the zman finesse baits that made it my favorite meijers in town...and overall never had any problems at this place!

Store was pretty well stocked. Checking out was a different story. I use Amigo cart. Checkout person filled grocery bags quite heavy ask her to not make them to heavy. Then she pulled all bags on top of bag turnstile wher I could not reach, but did not make a move to help me. Then she had a problem getting my receipt. When she did she had forgotten to take off my coupons. I ask her to just give me cash. She couldnt I would have to go to customer service and stand in line to get my money for her mistake. It was not a good visit.

Love going here after the gym makes shopping and working out so much more economical. I can do my workout run next door grab my groceries and get home in time eveyr week

Sorry I went! Nearly all prices gone up drastically. It didnt make a difference using Meijer coupons sent to my home. Some of the coupons I brought didnt take off on my bill. Then I have to wait 40 minutes in checkout line because there were only 3 registers open. This is something I find occurs at this Meijer frequently.

Use to be my favorite Meijers location, now its just okay. Theres always extremely long lines and the bathrooms arent very clean. Overall, its okay if you go early, the earlier the better.

This is the most disgusting grocery store I have ever been to. Routinely their men’s bathroom is complete filth. They finally fixed the stall door that had been broken for months but it really doesn’t matter because the toilet is always disgusting. The floor throughout the store has constant half cleaned messes everywhere.I can’t imagine they keep their produce and groceries clean or well taken care of when they obviously don’t care about the cleanliness of the store.

This is the only Meijers were we can get these pita chips. They are the best Ive ever tasted. Were from DeWitt/Saint Johns area and have looked all over, searched Google and everything.Safety measures were obeyed by everyone I saw.

I love Meijer. My mom goes once a week to shop and when I go I always have a good experience there. Ive been doing self check out for a very long time however today I decided to not do self check out since the line was super long. I ended up having Deborah H. check out my groceries and boy was this lady rude. I seriously think she was not happy today since she gave me a major attitude for asking a simple question. When I asked her oh really she responded with the most rude tone ever and almost rolled her eyes.Again I love Meijer but please ensure your staff are in good mood and polite. Its best to leave a good impression on clients rather than push them away.May 12, 2021.

Always an experience to visit Bass Pro shop. It’s a huge store with everything and anything outdoors related that will have you exploring all of the departments for hours. And no visit is complete without checking out the aquarium full of trophy size Bass, walleye, pike, catfish and all the other freshwater species on display. It’s always fun to view the fish in the huge glass wall tank that simulates their natural environment. Just look for the waterfall and you will find the aquarium. Be sure you have plenty of extra time and $ available when you go shopping at Bass Pro!

Good Meijer. It is clean and has respectful employees. People mostly keep their distance, except at checkout. Shout out to the checkout lady Fatima who always gives out suckers to kids and checks out packaging.

The store is full and stocked well. On the other hand they do not have enough cashiers and the lines are half way down the store.. the cashiers that work there are very rude and disrespectful. They don’t greet you, and rather stand at the register trying to scan your items and talk among other co workers.. instead of gossiping about other co workers amongst one another they should be worried about taking care of customers..& not be so rude. I will be calling and reporting the young lady that took care of me today (Gabrielle on register 12). She had an attitude with me because she double scanned one of my items and I called her out on it. Instead of scanning and bagging she scans items and don’t bag until she has scanned multiple items. Don’t make any sense as the bags are right there! I’m a store manager myself and would never allow my co workers to treat customers the way she was treating hers today. I won’t be going back to this location. Also if you plan on shopping here you better grab a cart on the way in because they have zero carts in the store. No way to even disinfect the carts inside if there was any.

Love this store. I used to go to Kroger an Walmart but this is definitely a cleaner bigger an fresher store. Meijer has always been a good place for great prices they have everything I couldnt find the new life chocolate cereal at any other store but they had it there. Overall Id say they are the best one stop shop around.

Store was clean, cashier was friendly and shelves were stocked. I was able to get everything I was shopping for and didnt have to wait an eternity to get through checkout.

Went in on Sunday 2/21 @ 5:30pm. Only three cashiers on duty on a Sunday!? The line for self checkout on lane thirty CROSSED OVER the line I was standing in on Lane 18. I waited in line for 40 minutes and when I asked to speak to a manger I was told that people called in sick. No cart cleaning supplies, no hand sanitizer. Dont waste your time here. They obviously dont care about your time, health, or safety. AND theyll charge you $2.99 for the same hand sanitizer you can get at a dollar store.Update 2/26/21 Amazed that 765 people have seen my photo of the horrible service at this Meijer location.. They need to train someone on how to address issues on Google. Great job Meijer.

I drove 39 min to get here because on the website they state they have humidifiers in stock. To my amusement all they had was 1 open box humidifier with missing parts on the shelves. I am very disappointed, time wasted. Does your company think peoples time is worthless or what? I drove there to buy items that are supposed to be there. Never again.

I only went to the flower area and the guy that help me had a excellent personality and was friendly. It was about four customers at the time and we all left out well satisfied. I didnt get his name, I was there late afternoon on Saturday.

Thank you Meijer for being open 24 hours! The best improvement to be made would be lower prices. The fresh produce selection seems to be more diverse than the competing chains. One of the few places that keeps fresh jicama in stock. Keep up the good work.

The last THREE times I brought bottles to return the machines were closed. I even called ahead 2 of the times. I called and asked specifically if I could bring bottles in. I was told yes both times and I live less than 5min from the store but when I got there and put all those bottles in carts i get to the return and its CLOSED. either something happened in the 5min it took me to get there or the person on the phone never bothered to check! Either way its ridiculous

This is my home store and I visit it around twice a week sometimes more. The staff are all very helpful if you ask for assistance. Never had a customer service issue at this particular Meijer. Its fairly cookie cutter as far as layout in my experiences with Meijer, theyre all similarly uniform. Overall having never had issues and usually not much wait in line (considering COVID) Id have to say the reason I always come back is the consistency of continually stocked items and shelves. Very reliable staff, extremely cleanly, and all around good easy shopping experience.

I was impressed with this store. Prices were good. Had the staples you need and some extras too. Be prepared to bag your order.

Womens bathrooms absolutely disgusting. Urine on the seats and floors. Family restroom has no working baby changing station and wreaks of urine. I would never place my baby anywhere near this restroom.

Drivers on the hill are crazy. The store itself is stocked, but 3/4 of the registers are not open, leading to huge lines and 20-30 minute wait times to check out.Its a good place to order from Shipt.

Easy to get to and not really crowded most of the time. Usually has enough check out lanes open. The sushi there is the best grocery store sushi I have had. Even better than Westborn Market in Royal Oak.

I have literally NEVER seen a grocery store that stays as empty as this store.I really shouldnt have to go to Southgate or Taylor everytime I need to make a meal.The lines here stay hours long.So the few cashiers they have are being overwhelmed and burned out.Mean while you have the lazy people standing by the door that should be at least sanitizing carts but their conversations are way to important.Im so over this location 🙄

They have a machine in the pet area that makes id tags. I bought a new collar and tag for my dog that we adopted recently

Shopped here for as long as I can remember: the staff have always struck me as polite and efficient, Ive never had a problem. Its also fairly clean at this Meijer - the only thing is that they are so so often out of stock (Specific cheeses or picked over fruit). Im sure this is just due to the popularity of the store, but might be something to consider.I would rate the music 7 out of 10 - only that high because they always play songs I know, but learned like ten years ago. Its kind of a fun throwback time ;)

Good place to shop a great variety of products!

They overcharge me $50 3 weeks ago. Last week there lights went off. Computers went down. They had said I have to unpack my $300 order so they could scan them again. I said there was 322 on that register when it went down because I was keeping very close account at the Meijer store on Dix avenue in Southgate Michigan. Two months ago my two biracial godsons was taking out of the same meijers 12 cases of water when they were stopped and asked to show the sales slip. As this was happening two blacks went out with a whole bunch of groceries young men at my godsons and they were not even given a second look. Gaston who heads the grocery department at that store is a friend but he says theres nothing Myers can do. We went to a nearby Meijer store and everything went okay.

Much better than other supermarkets in the area. Prices are slightly higher. But you still can get some good deals when they have sales.

Went grocery shopping at this store last night. I did my grocery shopping in a hour and it took 2 additional hours to get my groceries checked out. This is the Third time I have had to wait this long to get out of their. Its like torture standing in line this long. I wanted to leave my groceries in cart and just leave. 3 cashiers and so slowly they work.

If you are in a rush do not come here or not even actually. The reason is because the lines are SO unnecessarily long. You’ll take longer getting to checkout than what you take looking for the things you went for. I appreciate the workers during this time but this issue has been around since before the pandemic hit. I’m not sure if it’s the management of this store or what but they literally have about 4 cashiers open for the store on busy hours and weekends.

I have always loved this store . Today I received my Covid Vaccine behind the pharmacy. It was my first dose and the needle was as fine as an insulin shot. Everyone was very thoughtful and very nice. I would give them ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. They deserve all of them!!!

Youll be lucky to find carts in the store and lucky to get through the checkout process in less than 30 minutes. Wouldnt come here if you have to be anywhere else in a timely manner. Bring your own cart in from the lot with you. Only plus, a cheaper grocery bill. The price you pay for lower groceries is finding your own cart and spending no less than 30 minutes in line at checkout. Give and take I guess. Maybe if the cart person calls off, the manager better find a jacket and gloves, or are they above that?

Worst wait times! There are only 4 registers open and 1 side of the self checkout lines are backed up into the home section. It is not okay. People were just leaving their carts and walking away with produce and frozen items in them

Beautiful store,well laid out..but NOT ENOUGH CASHIERS,LOONG LINES. During a pandemic,I d think Meijer would want people to be able to shop and pay for their purchases and be on their way.Hiring more cashiers would cut into Meijer s profits. ..and that is the bottom line. I shop at Meijer only when they have a good sale. This a shame..used to be one of my favorite stores.

Where are the managers when the cashier lines are to the back of the store? I understand workers are hard to find and I appreciate anyone working in the grocery store BUT the language used by the cashiers today was absolutely unacceptable.

There were a lot of items of that was out of stock/lots of empty shelves, and I came around 4-5pm on a Sunday, sheesh! I come to this location specifically for the catfish steaks and an occasional pretzel while I shop!

In store experience is ok but it takes forever to get through checkout. I have never seen anything in my life like it. HORRIBLE TIME GETTING THROUGH CHECK OUT. WEEK AFTER WEEK. TIME TO SHOP ELSEWHERE!!!

It took us exactly 1 hr. and 3 min. in line to pay for our stuff!! My fiance and i are both in our mid sixties.We were so exhausted when we got home. It messed up our whole day due to the standing in line for so long. Never again. I will say the cashier named Fatima was so friendly and helpful. We could not thank her enough for her going to work, otherwise we may still be in line. A big thumbs up to her.But unfortunatly we wont be g oing back any tiime soon.

Since the pandemic, I mainly utilize the pick up service at this Meijer. The pick-up team is phenomenal! Always so nice and thorough, even when theyre short staffed. They are friendly but professional. I have had a few errors with my orders, due to IT issues, but I keep going back because I understand its not the local Meijers fault. I hope the employees receive the recognition they deserve!

I was here on a Sunday, but still the self checkout lines shouldnt be 20 minutes long. Ill consider other alternatives for my shopping needs.

This store is located in Fairlane Green between Oakwood and Outer drive. Both entrances are easy in and out, one warning is that during the Christmas holiday season it can be very congested. This Meijer is very clean, well kept, the shelves are stocked and tidy. It is the usual layout and stock for a Meijer - lots of products and good selection. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I was here, in line (after shopping for another 40 minutes) last night, from 9:50 to 10:30pm for 40 minutes because there were only 3 cashiers on duty, and one of them was covering for someone else. There was only one of the two self-check-out sections open, and every single line had more than 20 people in it. I had already filled my cart with weeks worth of groceries, and had just left a 7 hour shift, so I was committed to buying (otherwise I would have left everything there). I watched many people leave their carts and go without. This was the worst experience Ive ever had at a grocery store in my life. People were complaining ahead of me and in front of me. I was silent and encouraged the poor cashier, it was not her fault they were so grossly understaffed. Meijer, shame on you. I will never go back.

Second review: this has gone down hill, unfriendly employees, messy and unorganized, bugs everywhere!!! I brought it up to supervisor and they did not seem to care and tried to normalize the big situation. DONT EAT ANY FRUITS OF VEGETABLES FROM HERE! It’s a great place to shop if you are not in a hurry. Always long lines. Lack of manpower to keep a good amount of registers open, western union seems to be out of order most of the time, which is also due to lack of manpower. Other than that, it’s a good place to shop for all.
