This place was one of the worst! People had no mask on (customers & workers). The carts need to be wiped down! The trashcan for the wipes to use for the carts was overflowed & wipes were all over the floor. I saw a woman pull down wipes, break them off then discard them just to pull down three more wipes to use. Thats wasteful!! They should just wipe them down themselves. The store was difficult to navigate. The signs werent showing all departments only some. Theres no produce section, bakery, or deli. The refrigerated section was very limited. The store was very cluttered & difficult to get through the isles. The worker in the soda & water aisle had the entire aisle blocked with a pallet. He was throwing them on the floor making a very loud crash on the floor while putting away items. I went in for a 2022 planner. There was 1 to choose from. The picture on the front was beautiful, but the inside you had to date yourself. Can you say frustrated? The towel shelves were so bare & the decisions were slim pickins. They had character pants with no matching shirts. Why? We need sets! My son asked for help finding a screen protector & was told he couldnt get help because there was too many customers. He said he only noticed one person in the Electronics section.

Did an item search for a 2022-2023 pocket calendar and was directed to go to aisle G 51. Arrived and when to the G section and discovered it stopped at G 44. We asked Assocates and they did not know where they have been placed. We they called your direct phone number but no one answered it after 3 minutes. Awarding this comment a single star was not fair. What we experienced did not deserve even one star.

I thought Walmart would be a good option for one stop shopping on a rainy day. Wrong. Employees were busy stocking some shelves, others had many missing items. Last impressions matter. The young lady at the exit should probably be in the stockroom instead of interacting with customers.

I made two online orders for curbside pickup. I’ve been doing this with Target for the past year and never had an issue. I didn’t even know Walmart offered the curbside pickup until recently. I decided to give it a try; I will never do it again. Three things were out of stock, I received a call early the next morning after placing my order letting me know this and that the items were replaced with similar items with no extra charge. When I got there I parked in a spot and called the number on the sign. It took them like ten minutes to get outside to my car. The young lady explained that one item had been replaced with a version that I was not interested in and one of the other items wasn’t even replaced even though the gentleman on the phone told me it would be replaced but the item would just be a different brand. So she said she gave me a refund for those items and the confirmation will come in a few hours. That didn’t sit right with me, because if I bring the items in the store and return them I would get a receipt showing that I will be refunded. I went in a spoke with a manager and BOTH of the items were in the store. They brought them to the back and wanted me to repurchase them since supposedly I had been refunded for the other items but I had no confirmation of that. Long story short, do your curbside ordering at TARGET.

What it lacked in food items it made up for in reasonably priced good looking essential clothing

Nice Walmart. There are nice Walmarts and ugly Walmarts. This one is definitely one of the nice ones. Very clean and lots of self checking out cash registers

This I walmart I went was nice and organized. And this was the walmart I went when I was a child.

They had the cutest Easter baskets! And baby clothes! And shirts for mom!

I was there for an oil change it took 2 hours till my car was ready when they backed up my car there was a screw in the tire. I told the service manager about the matter and he ignored it. Instead of giving me good customer service he said I need to pay $15 which a really big screw got stuck in their shop.

Prompt response from ease of order to parking and items delivered to my car. Gentleman was so polite and friendly. So pleased.

Terrible Management, TERRIBLE PHOTO CENTER, terrible customer service from store to the corporate (Samaya).Well! These people are such a terrible people that values no customer time. The person who works at the photo station takes 2 hours break! Unbelievable! Three managers refused to speak with customers hiding at the back of the store (probably having the best time of their life) I will never ever go to this place! I see you all hate your job so I don’t blame you- but @Walmart you are TERRIBLE AND DISGRACEFUL!

They do an amazing job posting the hours for their customer service desk, which is only open from 8am to 8pm.

Honestly, a great selection of items and the pricing is incomparable. However, theres a lot of people who shop here... I mean A LOT. The parking situation is challenging and people walking where you need to drive through to find parking is another issue. Not the cleanest Walmart, but I cant say Ive been to one that was considering the customers. Limited number of floor attendees, like most Walmarts. Lines are huge unless it isnt payday. We dont shop here often unless theres something we cant find elsewhere. Que frankly, we dont like shopping here, but usually, we have no choice.

It have all the family needs. When I went to my country, I dreamed of returning to Virginia to buy from Wal-Mart. I love it . I hope I will be there every day, but I do not have money soon. I will go to it

Wow, this place is so bad. I went at 8:20PM. I went to the outdoor/firearm counter to ask if they sold ammo. The associate behind the counter spoke such poor English he didnt even know what I was asking. So I went to the customer service counter. No posted hours there. Finally I find an associate and they tell me they only accept customer service requests / returns between 8AM and 8PM.Just to be clear, I respect diversity hiring and actually wouldnt be offended if they didnt sell ammunition at all but if you need anything after 8PM expect nothing.

Its okay. Its survivable and a quiet crowd. People mind their business but can every now and then try to flex without a mask.

Relatively clean. Staff I encountered was helpful and knowledgeable. Stars deducted for store layout - displays located in the middle of the aisles make it difficult to navigate or social distance.

This is not a super-walmart. Quick in and out atore with cheaper prices. You can find most of what you need for lower cost here.

Okay. I have a lot to say about this walmart. First I would like to dispute his designation as a super center. It is not a super center. All in all its kind of a crummy little walmart. As Walmarts go. HOWEVER, as grocery stores go this is one of the best in the area. The quality of the produce, meats, dairy and other fresh items are excellent. The prices cannot be beat anywhere that I have found. And they deliver! I look forward to my grocery shop every week! Because not only can I get groceries that are a very high quality and a very reasonable budget-friendly price, I can also pick up that odd craft item or ball of yarn or crochet hook at my ledger. This is really a great store but its not a supercenter.

OK. General shopping. Tons of customers and very few employees to help customers with what they needed. Store seems unorganized and it is difficult to logically find products. On the upper hand, no one was rude and no one seemed to be in a huge hurry -- no one seems worse for the wear.

About 9:15 PM 07/16/2021 the one who works overnight shift young guy, I dont want mix it up his name maybe Mohamood overnight stacker was very aggressive raised his voice he talked to me like 4 years old child. Please he need a training classes how to respect, communicate and talk to customer. To make sure around at 9:15 PM if you rewind the video in the store you will notice the employee at Kingstown in Alexandria, Virginia location. Other than that an excellent customer service.

I bought an attractive house dress for an affordable price. Husband purchased a bike tire. I bought a petunia plant. Fast and easy to shop there and most people were wearing masks.

Everyone knows what theyre getting if they shop at Walmart. You are there for the low prices and Walmart provides low prices. You have to be ready to deal with the store not being an upscale experience. If you like low prices more than you just like the atmosphere, then Walmart is the place for you.

Clean, organized, professional & helpful staff. The wide variety of selection at this Walmart is a key factor at why I think this Walmart is one of not THE BEST in the DMV!

Bought a Christmas tree online for in-store pick-up. Worked fine except you have to pick up before 8pm and the first time I went after that. Their pick-up area is in the back of the store which was odd.Not sure Ill do that again, but I really like my Christmas tree.

I was at this location (Kingstown in Alexandria, VA) for specific items but generally I wouldnt come here for 2 reasons. Distance and Availability of items.

Call the store to check the stock of an item (that the site says is in stock, but they previously cancelled my order for). The lady who answers is impossible to understand, transfers me twice unsuccessfully, finally a guy picks up and asks me to hold but hangs up on me instead. Honetly, its my own fault for giving money to Walmart.

I would have given it 4 stars but the customer service worker at the door was horrible. She had people of color in the line to look at there receipts, however, a couple of white customers she let them walk right passed her. I asked why are we in a line and she stated she needed to look at our receipt. I said to her you didnt check the white people who just left she stated she did and I expressed to her you couldnt have you were talking to another customer so they walked right out the store. I expressed my displeasure and informed her if you do it for one do it for all. I then left, but it really bothered me that 3 Hispanic women and 2 black women lined up like we were doing something wrong. If you want to check receipts then do it like Sams club with a single file line and a sharpie then customers wont feel like they are being racially profiled.

The Walmart had what I needed and check out was quick on this day.

Large and spacious shopping center. Courteous employees. Beware of how busy it gets though.

Walmarts produce rivals the best that local Safeway and Giant Food offers. It can be anyones favorite place for one stop shopping.

Very complicated for the payment with the cashier. Lack of staff. The service is missing. There are interesting options and offers to take advantage of, however they are not impactful offers either.

Clean and efficient. A bit hard to find the way google directed me.

Slowest checkout everytime. There will be 20 people in line waiting every single time Im here. They also love to keep lights on registers that arent actually open so people get in the line thinking there are two registers open when there arent. Plus nothing is priced correctly. Dont go to this location unless you are desperate.

Walmart is a great store to get a variety of products from food to pharmacy. The kitchen products and pharmacy great value are hard to beat compared to giant or safeway stores. Giant is way overpriced imo. The larger walmarts have more food selection but i enjoy the great value brand products vs traditional supermarkets like giant. Though if you want lots of organics whole foods or even amazon fresh has more organics. Price and quality is good for great value brand. The bathroom great value products are also good and reasonable.

This Walmart isn’t a supercenter. You will find everything but not produce. Always crowded and very huge store. Not a fan of this Walmart.

This location is always busy. Found some of what we were looking for and we were checked out quickly. The cashier was very pleasant.

The workers greet you but dont want to help you. Also dont believe when online says that it is in stock because it wasnt. also the prices dont ring up the same at the register as stated on the tag. This Walmart definitely could use more training of the staff.

Great location as it has a spa, FedEx and a kiosk to help with filing taxes! The bathroom was clean and the store has a decent selection in pretty much all departments.

Website showed item in stock at this Walmart. But that was not the case, after the third rep confirmed the disparity between website and what actually was on hand. Had to seek out three different reps because the first two were clueless or were not willing to help locate item. This is not the first time website did not match what was exactly on hand at the store. Way behind other stores that are not only in sync with their website, but will also provide aisle location on the website. In addition, this Walmart, probably all, did away with in store scan machines to determine actual price, as, most know, the sticker/shelf price of an item on the shelf can be off/inaccurate at times.

This location very empty on 75%of all iteams. Most staff do not understand English.the self check outs take a way from people interaction (and take jobs a way from people which not good)inprove all the employees training on how to help the customers instead of scaring them a way to another store, and how to speek professionally and proper English would help a lot. Untill improvements done here i recommend you should shop elsewhere.

I went here to go get tires. They no longer stock my size tires in the store. They have to be ordered. At the current time, I needed tires to get home because my mother was having a major surgery. If I had waited on Wal-Mart, I would have missed the opportunity to see my mother into her surgery. Every company that sells tires except Wal-Mart will receive my money.

Kingstowne Walmart wasnt so bad. The cart photos are from the Richmond Hwy Walmart which I shop at more often. I took a picture of the cart bc that #$+*! cart stopped moving bc the wheel locked on me. According to one of the employees that happens when you stop in a section too long. I was shopping for bathsuits for my kids and was looking through the choices for sometime. BUT it should not be immovable after that. I was very unhappy!

Either the person in charge of ordering stock, or the person in charge of the stockers need to be trained or replaced. The shelves are always empty. This location is too unreliable for purchasing needs.

Most of the cute clothes and shoes can only be found online only. Nice clean. Always busy and long check out lines. The self check our moves quickly though.

WARNING: Please do not buy outside furniture that has to be delivered. Pilot Freight Services is the absolute WORST!!! They place you on hold for hours even though they claim being open 24/7. They changed our delivery date over several times. When someone finally answered via automatic call back system, they asked if I wanted the merchandise delivered( an additional four days later ). Beyond RIDICULOUS!!! Delivery scheduled out at 8:19AM. We’re 45 mins away. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL.NO arrival yet. On hold over 20 minutes. With ALL these negative reviews, surprised Wal*Mart did not make an adjustment.

Staff is really unattentive and walks away from their stations constantly, making people wait 15 minutes for a cut of fabric or to pick up their order. I wanted to buy an item today that didnt have a barcode on it so one employee offered to come with me so she could see where i got it to ring it up properly, but another employee stopped her and told me to go find the barcode myself. I know it sucks to work at walmart but that doesnt mean you take it out on others.

Special thanks to all employees who worked through all the very worst of the virus days. You are all heroes. I appreciate that I could shop safely and get products that I needed to live.

Just wanted to shout out to the Customer Representative Lead/Manager, her staff, and Walmart.com customer care representatives for helping me resolving the return issue and successfully manually refund my money. I ordered a product on Walmart.com, picked it up here and, later, decided to return it unused/unopened. When I initiated the return, Walmart.com system stated that I can return the item by Jul 5, 2021. However, when I returned it at the store on Jun 30, 2021, the store system stated that the return period was expired. We later found out that the 2 systems between the actual Walmart stores and Walmart.com website are not the same. Therefore, it was a discrepancy between the 2 systems. After spending an hour on the phone and with onsite manager/staff, we figured out that the manager had to go out her way to call the multi systems team to resolve this return issue. I didnt mind the hour spending at Walmart because the staff there are really nice and kind. The Walmart.com staff on the phone also really tried to help me. So great job on their amazing customer services!!!

Saturday pm and the place seemed packed. Difficult at times to keep 3 feet much less 6 feet apart. Most selves had products, and saw several employees restocking. Had to do self check out which can be a little frustrating with a cart full of items. Do appreciate Walmart team members that give 💯!!
