I took our gloss black SUV in for a detail and wax plus an upgraded interior detail. The carwash manager, Nathanial, said your SUV will look better than when you picked it up at the showroom. He was totally right. He is a master and an artist when it comes to detailing. Our SUV looks perfect. Ive never seen a black vehicle with absolutely no swirl marks, and the inside is shiny and spotless. The price was reasonable, and I cant say enough about the great job that Nathanial and his crew did. As an aside, I noticed, too, that Nathanial is very supportive of his team which is likely a factor in how well they all work together. Our Porsche Cayenne looks awesome, and with a shortage of cars because of chip shortages and shipping delays, Im glad that I have an SUV that I can hold on to because I know that Nathanial at Yates Kingstowne Car Wash will keep looking great as long as I own it

High Detailing Prices For Shoddy, Messy WorkI will not be returning as a customer, nor would I recommend them.I dropped my 2015 Hyundai Sonata off for a scheduled Interior Detail ($124) and a hand wax ($69). The work done is shoddy -- that is the most polite term I can use -- I would and did expect better of a company that offers detailing service, especially at the rates charged.Conditioning products were applied unevenly, the car has a spotty/speckled look inside now on the doors, dash, and other services. And it is apparent that not all surfaces were even done evenly as there are whole surfaces that are untouched. I would expect an uneven job with a lower tier service.Worse, the greasy cleaning products are on the windshield and windows and now need to be cleaned off. Again, disappointingly, the windows have dried watermarks and dried water drops all over them along with the outside chrome having dried water spots. Likewise, the interior windows, including the panoramic roof, look like nothing more than a damp cloth was used to clean them in the interior and there are portions which werent cleaned at all or haphazardly cleaned and still have swirls. Or things, like the review mirror, werent even cleaned at all.You need to do better for the packages offered and prices charged.

First time getting my car detailed here and I specifically did the the interior detail package and my car looks amazing. They did a great job of getting the stains out of my cloth seats that have been there for years and cleaning up all the dog hair! Will definitely be back to my car detailed again!

I’m only giving 4 stars because the windshield and rear window were not cleaned well, but I didn’t notice until I was driving home and I didn’t want to go back. Otherwise, it was great. Looked brand new again, which is great since it’s less than a year old! I’ll go back, but lower prices would be awesome.

Love the service here. This is the only place I’ll get my car washed through a drive through service, typically will get the inside and outside fully cleaned. It feels like a full detailed cleaning, the clean the dashboard the cup holders, the kids crumbs everywhere and even clean the mats! They have an array of options from a basic exterior clean w self service vacuum to the entire detailed clean. And they are fast! I highly recommend this place.

I received two recommendations from friends about this place and I was pretty disappointed in their service today.I had the $39 cleaning option since I wanted the interior cleaned. They did not clean the trunk well nor the back of the seats as shown. The rest of the interior was cleaned just fine.I would not recommend them currently.

Id like to give the establishment 4.5 but it was definitely not worth taking away a whole star. I really liked the car wash experience. From the time I pulled up I was met by a friendly gentleman asking me which wash I wanted. I opted for their $40ish dollar option (their top assembly line style service). The brush wash did a better job than the competition Mr. Wash a couple miles away. The drying, wheel detailing, and vacuuming staff were equally nice. The interior detail was nice, nothing too elaborate but right on point. The rims were pretty good after their care, the only .5 deduction would be on the matte black tire shine they use. I prefer a shiny gloss but thats just my preference. Overall I would say this is the best local brush wash Ive been to in the area. My wash even came with a free drink inside their convenient store. It was a great experience and I think Ill be going back.

I booked an express interior detail ($70). I got a reminder text 2 hours before my appointment. When I showed up they told me the car wash was closed. I was clearly frustrated and while I was sitting in my car before leaving the guy came up to my window and said they would do it. Sounded great! (Although them saying the car wash was closed when they were working on another car and could do mine.)When the guy looked at my car he told me it would be $150, even after I told him I didn’t need the hatchback end of it. He first said that I booked the wrong thing (huh?) and then said that online booking is minimum price only (but he more than doubled the price.)Neither answer really makes sense, and I just feel like he was trying to scam me.

Terrible! We asked for a car wash and inside cleaning, but they didnt clean the inside well. I had to do their own job, and was better than them! Not to mention the price..We had to pay 40 DOLLARS for horrible service. I recommend not coming here.

Ive been coming here for a couple years now. Im not sure whats happened in the last month or two. But I typically get the full package which comes with interior cleaning. The last two times Ive been here, wtoday was the last, its obvious all theyve done is wipe a cloth wash on the dash and then vacuum. Which is not what is promoted. I wont be returning. It isnt worth the price anymore.

Went in for the basic wash because my car was a bit dusty and I was feeling lazy. Barely did a thing. Bird poop on my windshield? Still there. Dust on my roof? Still there. The dryer did such a poor job that I had to use my windshield wipers after, and now there are water marks all over my car, too. A nice rain and a gas station squeegee would be a solid improvement.

To get my attention to move forward, the attendant slapped his hands together rudely four times in my direction. A simple wave would have sufficed. My window was down to give payment as my car started forward. The attendant reached into my open window and turned my wheel himself, giving me a “special” service as he brushed by my lap. I would have thought was extra $. Rude beyond belief. And keep your hands out of my car. Plus my car came out spotted from soap that wasn’t rinsed off. I will never go back.

Very unusual car wash experience. The staff that actually cleans vehicles seem exhausted - there’s no sense of urgency and the work is sub par. You pay $40 dollar for a prolonged standard interior exterior wash…that’s about it. Nothing special or above and beyond that would call for the insane pricing. I honestly think they just need more staff. First and last time I’ll be visiting.

I took my SUV to get it washed. I asked for the ultimate lava wash, which was $25. I asked if he could really focus on the front of the car because it had a lot of bug guts from driving to and back from NY a few weeks ago. He said no problem. I exit the wash and one guy dries my SUV. I tipped without looking at my car, which was my fault. I get to the grocery store and notice the front of my car was still covered in bug guts and the bird poop was still on the rear window. When the guy who was drying my car should have seen that. I called and spoke to the manager, she asked me to come back and have it re-washed. I go back and tell the guy at the beginning what the manager said. He sprayed the front of my car and the back window then scrubbed both. I went through the wash again. I exit the wash and the guy who dried it said he will take care of me. Two guys took their time and died the car and took care of the front. Took about maybe 5 mins. One of the guys comes to the window and asks for another tip because they went out of their way to do extra work. I replied back, extra work that should have been done correctly the first time. He told me there was an ATM inside and I can park there next to him. I said no. I went inside and the manager gave me back my tip and I informed her he was asking for another tip.We will not be going back to this location.

Just got my interior and exterior detailed here for my car and I am blown away! The car looks better than it did when I purchased it from the dealer. Jawaun Leach did a great job, I definitely will be coming back again! I highly recommend this place for anyone.

This crew and car wash does a really good job! Yaw, Kobi took their time to clean out the pet hairs, which I know is a hassle. The convenience store is nice too. You can grab a snack, or cold drink while youre waiting. I got lucky it wasnt too busy, but either way they are quick and efficient! I forgot to add with the Yates package you get a free air fresher and drink from inside, which I am enjoying at the moment *slurrrrrp*

Today I took my van and while I was inside the car wash one of the machines broke my windshield whipper ... anything could’ve happened .. I had my kids with me ... anyways I try talking to the manager or supervisor.. and no one helped me get to them ... this guy came to my van with attitude being really rude .. it was really unnecessary!

Most times when we come in in the morning, there is one girl by the name of Jutara that works so hard, youd think she is a manager. Shes there most times when we come in. Alot of times doing all of the work while still trying to do a very stressful job with minimal help. Where is the management team? Why shes not a manager, idk but by the looks of it she definitely needs a raise. Just seems to me that this establishment does not value their employees.

I had a very bad experience with interior cleaning/detailing done to my car. I would never go to them for any expensive detailing. I asked for odor removal in my car and I was told to go with Interior cleaning which was $129. The car looked clean but looks like they applied too much of chemical to all the interior surfaces of the car. It had a very strong pungent odor of the chemicals. Even after I left my car windows open for 2 days, the odor didnt go away. Its literally very difficult for me to drive the car for more than 5 min. Also all the surface looks greasy and its not going away. Its been 4 days and I am still feeling strong odor.Finally they reached out to me about the problem and got my car cleaned completely for free. Updating my review from 1 🌟 to 4 🌟

Oh my goodness, words cannot express how satisfied that I am with the outcome of my car, however; I will try. First let me say, I live in Upper Marlboro, MD. Customer service is number 1 priority for me, and this is what you will get at the Yates Carwash located in Kingstowne, VA. I scheduled an exterior detail for my car and upon my arrival while entering the store the young cashier was nice, she called the technician Nathaniel. We walked outside so that he could look at my car. I had several scratches that were not deep, how they were ugly. Nathaniel advised that I may need to go to a body shop to have a deep buff, however; after a good wash and shine that my car would look a little better. Well I must say, my car looks like a brand new car, and you can’t see the scratches. Nathaniel and Victor did an amazing job, my friend that went with me was like I’m going to have to come down to VA. I too will be traveling on I-95 at least once a month to get my car wash. If only I could attach before and after photos. Nathaniel and Victor, I applaud you both 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾, continue to serve in excellence, if I was your Managemet, I would give you both a raise, “Thank you”!

Car goes through the wash a bit quick, but pretty nice results and they use a Mercedes wash system so the car finish does not get messed up. Wheel shine was mostly worth it.

My experience was great! I didn’t fully understand that the one location does the detailing but the other location performs the headlight cleaning service. Once I got that straight, everything was great! The result was perfect, my headlights looked like new! I would highly recommend them.

This is the second time that my spouse and I have brought our car to be detailed by Yates. We have a very large dog that gets hair all over the place and that includes inside of our car. 1. This place is a rip off2. They dont understand what you are asking for so they charge you for the most expensive wash. They then wont refund you, so you have to back up out of the car wash, wait for someone else to purchase the premium wash, but only charge them for the basic, and then have the customer go inside and take money out of the ATM to pay you back.This place is a scam.Go to Lorton Carwash instead.

The store is clean and well kept and has seating to stay warm while waiting for car service when it is cold outside.Would highly recommend due to the breadth of services available and quality of staff.

They did an excellent job!! The car was beautiful. They got stains out that other places had told me were permanent. Friendly staff. The only down fall is it took them all day. I had an appointment and it still took them a little under 9 hours. But end result, I am very pleased.

I had an exterior detail done, and my detailer Nathaniel went above and beyond my expectations. He had the outside of my truck looking brand new and gave me a good interior cleaning as well. Easy drop off and pick up, and easy to schedule online.

Ive been going here for carwash for years and have recently had my car hand waxed and both family cars detailed here. The staff is great - I was confused by what to sign up (and pre pay) for online but they evaluated my vehicle when I got there and for one car said just the hand wax and interior vacuum would be good but for my spouses car Id need to upgrade the service to have it look really good by the end.Nathaniel was super helpful and professional and I never felt like he was just trying to upsell me on anything. Both cars looks amazing when finished, and they looked pretty bad when I brought them in.

This is the best car wash I have ever been to. The way they clean the inside of your car is amazing. I was going to pay $200 to get the inside of my car detailed at another place but after bring my car here I decided it wasnt necessary. If you get the Yates package they also give you a free drink and air freshener. Great place!

The manager is very very rude, not to the customers but to the employees, he’s very discriminative, and acts like he pleases because he’s a manager, he cuts the employees paychecks because he desires, he’s very short-tempered and is very rude to the male employees, mixes his personal life with his job, he gets jealous when his wife is working 💀 bummer

This gas station is great, very clean and has well kept private restrooms, plenty of open gas pumps and car wash here is the best! Its hard to find a reliable car wash thats fast and does a good job but this one is top notch! Yaw was the attendant that finished drying and cleaning my car, he did an amazing job! Bonus points that the signature car wash comes with a free air freshener and a free fountain drink 😁

I’ve been coming here since it opened and they remain a class act car wash. Besides doing a really good job, they are also really polite and super speedy. Nice guys! I had a full interior detailing done. They shampooed the carpets and the seats and did an excellent job! I scheduled online and they were very clear with how long it would take and it took exactly how long they said it would.

This place is probably fine for normal sized vehicles, but I took my Wrangler here to get the salt from the road off. It only ended up cleaning about 90% of the salt/dirt on the vehicle body off, but on top of that the machine left scratches all over my rear fender flares. I would strongly recommend not getting any SUV or oversized vehicle washed here.

It’s busy so plan ahead if you want to schedule a detail. Like the convenience of being able to schedule and pay online. Solid detail job; have been happy with the results. Sometimes unsure of where to park and how to check in.

I made an appointment for a 7:15 am express cleaning. The attendant was nice but it took 2hours and 15 minutes and although my car was admittedly extra dirty they consistently neglected to focus on my car when others came causing the job to take too long. I am somewhat satisfied with the level of cleaning however there were a few obvious areas of the interior that were missed, especially the back drink console.

Thought it was wet from there bottle went back to work came back out nope its stained a brand new 2020 truck stay away from this place

Excellent place to have your vehicle serviced, my car was detailed and it looked brand spank’n new when they finished plus I was able to wait comfortably while they serviced my car, I will definitely be a returning customer. Also Nelson and all the staff were so nice this was a great overall experience for me.

Decent wash (my car was pretty clean already but had a little dust) but the prices are too high. I paid $25 for the Ultimate that promises an undercarriage blast. Im assuming they at least wash underneath the vehicle or at least attempt a rinse. Im pretty sure it didnt work today. Regardless, after the wash I sat at the exit of the carwash with a car being slowly wiped down with a cloth while another guy was hosing off a rubber mat. No attempt was made to even look in my direction for a couple of minutes so I drove off. I have better things to do than sit around waiting for slow service.I realize its not easy finding good help, but for $25 I would expect better. I regret wasting that much when i can do a better job myself for less than $7 at a hand car wash.I strongly recommend the prices be lowered to reflect the value received.

After paying for the highest service for the Yates Signature car wash the detainees did not vacuum the trunk, the floor mats were still full of sand, and the wheel wells were still gross!! I had to ask them to vacuum out the trunk of my X4 SUV. I recommend you got the car wash in Springfield, pay the $18 and vacuum yourself instead of paying $40 for Yates Kingstowne Signature Car Wash. what a waste of money and time!!

Just paid $39 dollars and got the worse car wash ever!!! My car does not shine at all nor is the inside wiped down properly. I spoke to the Manager and he basically told me that the quality they gave me was the best they could offer. I understand that on-site management does not control the price but the quality should match. Will be heading back over to Embassy Auto wash to have them redo my entire car.

Not worth it if you own a good car. They melted my headlights (also got under the headlight/ brand new car no need to do this) and got some scratches in the hood. No one will take care of your car better than you so take some time off and do it yourself .. had to learn out of their stupidity.

Both of the attendants were blatant about their disdain for their work. Maybe, they were having a bad day. One of the attendants asked if I had a wipe down. He was told I did. As I exited the car wash, he stood off to the side and didnt make any motion toward my car. I waited for him to start and he just stood there looking off in the distance. These people are FANTASTIC. They went OVER AND ABOVE for me and my car looks like a work of art now. I have two dogs and the dog hair in my car was awful. David, Denielle and Michael all worked together to help me find a service I could afford. Michael then went WAY out of his way to make sure my car was BEAUTIFUL and told me not to worry, it was a part of his job. What he did for my car was way more than he needed to and it was very much appreciated. He was incrediblel!! I went to two places before and they said they could not help me. This place is incredible, awesome people working there and they really want to help people. They even gave me helpful tips on how to keep the car clean! It has never looked better. Thank you team!

Great customer service here! The booking process was seamless and the team walked me through their detailing process. From text and email confirmations and reminders to the the on-site team, everyone was so nice and helpful despite 90+ degree temperatures and being late for my original appointment. I definitely recommend keeping Yates as your go-to auto detailer!

I brought my car in for an interior and exterior car wash and Dwayne, Barry, and Yaw did a fantastic job. I had my 9 month old with me and we had a nice shaded spot to sit at the tables while we waited. They made sure to work thoroughly and efficiently to get us back on the road quickly! I just moved here from Colorado and unfortunately got the messy end of the deal bringing our beloved outdoor cat along for the ride. Now, however, I’m proud to say that my 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia is now cleaner than when I bought it! Minus scratches from the kids’ bikes of course, yay. Just came here for the first time and I’m very disappointed. I paid $39 for the top car wash because I wanted the interior to be vacuumed. I have a dog that sheds and goes with me in the car everywhere I go, so he leaves hair. I’ve vacuumed it myself plenty of times and it doesn’t take that long to get all the hair off but this car wash left tons of hair. On top of that, it took OVER an hour. I watched the whole time and there were several guys going from car to car, not spending more than a minute at a time on mine, and the rest of the time it just sat there with the doors open. One guys doing the tires couldn’t stay off his phone. I asked twice the last 20 minutes if my car was done and both time the response was “we just need to wipe down the windows”. Okay why does it take 20 minutes to do that? The outside of my car shines but I could’ve just paid for the basic one if that’s all I wanted.

Went to Yates after I got several recommendations. Got the Yates signature to get the inside cleaned as well. It came with a free drink and a scented tree so that was nice. Yaw, Barry C, and Kobi did a great job cleaning the inside. They were also very patient and kind waiting for me to take my toddler out of her car seat and help me with all the stuff I had. Will definitely be coming back! Thanks :)

Worst car wash I have visited in Virginia. I paid 20 for the deluxe wash and the roof of my car was still dirty afterwards. Complete waste of money.
