Service department a total rip off.... charged $570 for a battery. Insisted they had to do a diagnostic check.... $175. $320 for the battery. Also handed us a list of items that needed to be done ASAP...No oil in car.... took it took a oil change place.... oil was full... not leaks and it hand been changed at 5000 miles.Claimed brakes were gone... took it to an auto center... they were fine.Claimed it need engine work etc. took it to an auto center... no problems.I requested the results of their $175 diagnostic check several times... none ever provided.Had the service center run a diagnostic check..... no numbers came up.... another falsehood.Net paid $570 for a battery....I recommend all others that have been ripped off by this place contact GM, the BBB, and post on YELP.

I just had my Buick serviced here for the first time at this location. I had my stepdad go over on my behalf and was shocked to pay $100 for the regular oil and filter and tire rotation combo. And it took 3hrs to do the job with an appointment. I’ve had my car serviced at a different dealer location in MD for less than $70, quick service and a complimentary car wash. Very dissatisfied with the quality of service for such a high price point.

I went to get the battery changed on my Volt. I went online and they had an option for my car to change the battery. When I got there each employee pawned me off on another service person. The final employee I got to told me they didnt change the volt battery and said, You know there are several thousand dollars, right? When I began to explain that their online service told me I could get it changed here she then kept saying how much it cost. Finally when I was trying to tell them to fix that issue on their website she told me I was being rude.The entire time she was short, kurt, and rude herself. I dont know if this reflects the service center as a whole but if it does this place needs to hire more professional staff.I get customer service is hard but that was the worst experience Ive ever had at any car service dealership.

I wanted to put wheel locks on my vehicle and drove into the service lane. The service manager came over and asked me if I was checking in or checking out? I told him I had GM wheel locks and needed them installed. He stated give him 10-15 minutes and took my vehicle to the back. About 10-15 minutes later he was back and they were on the wheels. I was very happy and appreciative with service at Ourisman Chevy. Thanks again.

Consumer beware take photos of your vehicle before service inside and out despite whether its clean or not you should be entitled to receive your vehicle in its proper condition all parts intact as they were when dropped off for inspection instead of being told it was like that when you bought it here. This place lacks Integrity top to bottom because Integrity starts at the top and usually trickles down to the bottom so what you find at the bottom you normally find the same at the top as I did.....

This place is a nightmare!! The service is bad and the mechanic might left you more troubles when you pick up your car. My new car got ruined inside and outside. They left scratch and white spots inside the car unfortunately they are not removable. Also a small bump outside. They didn’t take any responsibility plus they said they didn’t do it with an attitude and they were very rude.Please double check your car and take a lot of pictures and VDO as much as you can before dropping the car off and before you take it back home.

The mechanical service here is standard for your big Automaker dealership. The issue with this particular dealership is that their customer service could use some improvement, between the specific like having more direct phone routing to fundamental like professional, courteous staff members handling various lines of effort (phone answering, cashier processing, etc.).

My A/C was working when we brought in my vehicle but not working when we picked it up, noticed it later. Next time service visit we told about it they gave an estimate to fix it.. I told it was working before but noone cares. Need to fight for it. Still couldnt get it fixed because its over $700 cost to fix. I just wanted to write this for people to know

I would like to personally thank the manager Bruce and my sales consultant Hassan, who went above and beyond to make sure i got the car I wanted.. Always professional and kept their word and assured me of any misconceptions I might had have.. I would highly recommend this dealership!! I have been using the Ourisman Chevrolet, Buick, GMC Service Department for preventive maintenance since purchasing a Buick just over a year ago and will continue to do so. My Service Technician is Eric Sosa. I dont know the name of my Mechanic, but he is known as the Corvette Guy. I had MAJOR maintenance performed on my Buick and the professional and courteous facilitation and by Eric and the expert work of the Mechanic have me feeling like Im driving a brand new vehicle. I am extremely thankful.#SatisfiedCustomer

I was having difficulty with my 2015 Chevrolet Impala and I called the service department and spoke with the most courteous service person ever. Mr. Von. This is my second time taking my vehicle to this dealership for service and I continue to request Mr. Von for assistance. Mr. Von is always patient and very knowledgeable when it comes to what my car needs. Customer service is everything when you are caring for your investment. I purchased my car from the dealership in Waldorf and was having my care serviced there but when I experienced the timely and great customer service. I havent been back since.Thanks Mr. Von -- Good and friendly customer service is hard to come by so I greatly appreciate you.Chevrolet you must value good employees like that Mr. Von who takes pride in what he does so your customers can keep coming back.

I went in with a check engine light on. I was a little concern because I have been dealing with this light from a previous chevy dealer. I want say there name but there in Virginia on route 1 (right off the WW bridge) the experience was a nightmare. When i came the light was on when i left the light was on (after i spent 4 grand)but chevy dealer in Bowie was one of the best experiences. Came in light on came out light off.they gave me the old parts and explained everything. I had to get a rental but two days and i got my Silverado back running fresh...no car wash doe.😁

Will not go back. I would not recommend this service dealership.See details below for explanation.TLDR Version: They covered all their bases when following the stereotypical bad mechanic behavior.1) made my car a little worse after a service to get me to pay for more fixes.2) Included a misc fee ($45) on my bill.3) removed my oil service sticker to try and get me to come in for an unnecessary oil change.DETAILED VERSION: I took my car in to make sure everything was okay for the holiday travel. I had a tire sensor out on one of my tires, but the other three were fine. It was not an issue I wanted fixed and told them this when I brought it in. They said everything was okay, but the car might need an alignment. Everything was fine, until I got home and realized all of my sensor were now not working. So the car was returned in worse shape than it given to them.I took the car back a few days later to get the tire rotation, balance and axial alignment. I asked why all the sensors were now not working and they. Their matter-of-fact response was, When you reset the tire sensors, if one is not working, then the process cant complete and non of the sensors will work.What is the take away here... they knew resetting the sensors when one was not working would stop them all from working. This means I now HAVE to pay for a new sensor ($200+) to now get any tire sensor functionality. I asked them to fix the sensors they had broken, but they said they couldnt do anything now.After the fixes were completed (Tire rotation, balance, axial alignment) I came in to pickup my car and pay the bill. The bill seemed higher than expected and I asked to see the itemized bill. To my shock, they added a Misc Shop Fee of $45. I questioned them about this and the sales guy said it was standard practice. I pushed back and went to talk to billing. I guess a manager heard me complaining about the fee and came over. Then he said... Oh, that fee shouldnt be on his bill. The sales guy put it on there and fought to keep it on. It wasnt until I pushed back and other customers were hearing that it got removed.What is the take away here... they will try and add fees to your bill.The last item is just petty on their part. I realized when I got home, that they removed my oil change sticker from Speedy. It was no where near any location they would have been working (upper left corner of my windshield) and was fairly new. So it wouldnt have fallen off. From my point of view, this is just petty.A few days after my service, I was sent an email asking how my interaction with the dealership went. I responded with the above issues and asked to speak with a manager (manager call back). What call back did I get... one week later... they called to push me to come in and fix my tire sensor.Ive lost all trust in this dealership and will not return.

The customer service is great - but we cant count on them to fix the car. I took our vehicle in 4 times for the same issue - paid $800 to fix what they thought the issue was only for the car to break down on a road trip. Apparently the engine was shot and we needed a new one but these guys never discovered it, over filled our oil and flooded the engine which was the original problem all along.

Booked an online appointment in advance as my chevy was part of a recall. The online svc sent me to the wrong location.Then, after i found out the right location, the mechanical told us that “they didnt have the spare parts necessary to do the service but they’d order it and call me once it arrives”They never called me. Called them 3-4 times until they confirmed they had the part - like 45 days after I called. I then tried to book and appointment and was told - by email - that no appointment was needed.Visited the store on the very next day and was told that I couldnt come in w/o appointment

Worst experience and service. If they offer additional services always say no. And validate they change your oil by having them show you before and after. Oil was black and said it should be that color. Recommend any other mechanic.

Still sitting here... made an appointment 3 days in advance for 11:00am for a simple oil change. Arrived at 10:50am ... its now 12:10pm and no eta of finishing. It should not take 70 minutes for a scheduled oil change.

Can honestly say worst experience ever at a service department. Dropped my vehicle off at 5 a.m. for a 7:15 appointment. Went back a little after 2 and the service person said they were just getting ready to put it on the rack. 7 hours later and a oil change, tire rotation and maintenance, not done. Had not even looked at it. So I asked to have my truck brought out that I didnt have time to wait and expressed my disappointment. The service person mumbles something under his breath to the tune that I was being unreasonable. So I decided to call a service manager about the situation and in a very dismissive tone he offers me a few bull crap excusses (which i called him on)and says when do u want to bring it back in. Couldnt even get a Im sorry u feel that way sir. Horrible customer service. Would recommend going anywhere but here.

Dont go here for anything you could get done somewhere else. Quoted me 700 for new tires and installation/rotation. Seemed high to me so I got quotes elsewhere (Costco tire, Walmart and automotive express) all three quoted me 350 or less. This place is bogus and has ridiculous over charging. Avoid avoid avoid.

Chevy has had my truck for 3 weeks. 9,000 miles with a blown transmission.I’ve tried calling them 3 times to ask about the status and i get transferred to someone that is never at their desk and I leave a number with my information and I hope to get a call back.Stay away from this dealership.
