Way overpriced as marked. However, they sell at half what they mark it as. I have no idea why they would do this. Just put the price on the item, dont try to play psychological sales games. That being said, they have beautiful stuff, probably the best selection that you can easily find in Albuquerque.

In 1989, my parents moved us from Philadelphia to Albuquerque as my dad was in love with the city. A few years ago, my parents needed to move back East due to medical needs and my dad has been heartbroken and homesick ever since. For Father’s Day this year, I purchased a kachina from Palms Trading Company and had it shipped to my dad. He was so happy with his present! He said it was a such a wonderful reminder of home.Thank you for the excellent service and for helping me make this Father’s Day a day to remember!

We always stop here when traveling through New Mexico for Native and Pueblo pottery and jewelry. You can find the real pottery gems - Maria Martinez and family, Frog Woman, Feather Woman, etc., and you can also find much more accessible pieces to get a collection started. Artists are fairly compensated (SO IMPORTANT), the employees are knowledgeable, and while the selection varies, it is always interesting, and you can usually find something fascinating to add to your collection.

Went in to find a gift which I took to the register to purchase and got the only person who seemed negative. Asked if I wanted it bubble wrapped or boxed I chose box and made the mistake of asking how big the box would be and she said big enough to fit the item...duh! She seems put out by my purchase the entire time I’m dealing with her; she disappears in the back to get a box and is gone long enough that I’m asked by every other very friendly employee if I need help and once she reappears the item is boxed and tapped up tight which makes me think I could just wrap it and be done but am glad I opened because she bubble wrapped, tapped and peanut stuffed the box yet left the price tag on the item! I believe it was an intentional dig at an item that she felt was beneath her time! Thanks won’t be dealing with her again!
