We stopped by and struck up a conversation with Mary, a native American and long time employee. She was very helpful with making our selection for local jewelry. I like the idea of supporting a locally owned business as well.We received thoughtful service with a smile and certainly a little local goings-on info as well.Highly recomended

One of only 4 Indigenous owned shops in Old Town Plaza. I highly recommend this shop if you are looking to purchase authentic Indigenous jewelry. We came in just to browse, and as others have stated, there was zero pressure to buy. The founder’s sister was behind the counter, and she was very kind and helpful. I ended up buying a pair of earrings, and she was kind enough to tell us about the material and technique used to create them. She even wrote down the name of the Tribe where the jewelry came from. I have very sensitive ears, but after a full day of wearing the new earrings, I didn’t have any problems. So I can tell the material is high quality. I definitely recommend supporting this business!

This is one of 4 native owned shops in Old Town, so I was really adamant about buying here. I went in on Saturday and was treated with kindness and patience. On Saturday I went in again and again was treated with kindness and patience. The person minding the store made sure everyone who walked in understood the history of the area and of the store. She pointed out the significance of certain motifs in the jewelry, and we discussed how colonization has affected the indigenous people in this and other areas of the continent. When I chose a piece that spoke to me, she went above and beyond to make the experience special and meaningful. This was not just an exchange of money for goods and I am so grateful. This is an intense experience, as it should be. If you’re expecting to just buy the fruits of people’s labor without also knowing why they’ve had to resort to selling their sacred symbols, then this is not the place for you. But if you’re looking to learn and feel something special while you shop, this is an amazing place.

The most authentic Native American jewelry in a warm, friendly, no pressure atmosphere. We went into this stop to be greeted by the very nice woman that worked there. She told us a little bit about the history of the shop and said shed be happy to show us anything wed like then left and us to browse. As it happened we were interested in looking at a few rings in the case. She happily pulled any square foam ring holder we wanted to see and had a lot of knowledge of each ring. We tried on quite a few things and there was never any awkwardness, impatience, or pressure. She even stayed open a little late so we could find something just right. Hiiiiiighly recommended.

One of the only Native-owned shops in Old Albuquerque! Beautiful selection, and you can be sure your money is going to the people who actually created the goods.

Unfortunately we went into to the store when an extremely rude and angry employee was working there. I really wanted to shop but all she wanted to do was give us a history lesson which we didnt have time for and were obviously NOT interested in. Not a way to sell your goods people. I do not recommend and will never return.

It’s a tourist shop that happens to be on a tribal reservation. Not too much to see other than souvineers and cheap jewelry. Not worth a special trip from the highway.
