Great place to come get anything you need for your motorcycles to even riding apparel. The manager was very helpful and staff is very knowledgeable about everything they sell and others they dont. Made my experience the best experience ever will come back here again next time I ride in or even drive through New Mexico.

Absolutely insane on prices! I had 3 tires mounted on rims I removed and brought to the store. My bill? $207 !!!! To. Mount. 3. Tires. Customer service was great. I will not make the mistake of giving this business any more of my time and money. And, making things worse......my veteran status is only good for some things. I cant stand when a business offers veteran discounts on limited items but not on others. Ive owned several very successful companies and we NEVER picked and chose what was discounted. If you were a veteran with any proof, you got a discount. Operating like this business does just feels greasy. I have to withhold a positive recommendation for this business. Avoid it if at all possible. Two thumbs down. Way down.

I ordered a Pirelli Angel rear tire for my older BMW online and it was sent to my local Cycle Gear location. I received a phone call telling me that the tire had arrived so the following day I took the wheel and old tire in for replacement. The next day I went back and picked up the newly mounted tire. Cycle Gear was running a special, charging half price for tire mounting and I was happy to take advantage of that. The entire experience was stress-free and pleasant; everything was done that was promised. Thanks, Cycle Gear!

Staff is helpful every time Im here looking for gear. This last time staff was great explaining some features to help me decide on a Bluetooth system for our helmets and installation.

I went in on a Saturday to find womens riding gear - something that usually is difficult because of low inventory. They are well stocked and the staff is helpful and courteous. Staff and customers are wearing masks. Great place!

I took my motorcycle rim with preexisting tire on it!!! And they put my tire on backwards 😒 I dont live in Albuquerque I live in Rio Rancho, Im glad I noticed it before I installed it!!! I talked to a Manager and he acted like it wasnt a big deal, just bring it back in he said!!! I took off a total of 4 hours of work, and spent $30.00 in gas for something that wasnt my fault, I saw the Manager when I brought it back and not a word I was there for an hour waiting for them to fix it the right way!!! He wouldnt even make eye contact!!! I was going to ask for store credit or something but the young man that fixed the mistake was cool and got it done as quickly as possible so that the only reason Im giving it a 2 star was because of him!!! Ive been dealing with them for years, and was buying all my sons motocross gear from them and my motorcycle gear as well, thanks to the young man and his Professionalism, or I might have never considered going back!!!

Had new tires mounted and balanced here; they gouged my wheel twice and after returning to have the rear tire balanced a second time, its still unbalanced so the bike bounces over 45mph. Wouldnt recommend this place.

Cycle Gear carries all the latest in vogue apparel. They sometimes have parts you actually need, but mostly it’s stickers/jackets/ helmets/googles and gloves taking up 80 of the store. If your lucky you might get a motorcycle knowledgeable employee.This is not a motorcycle shop per say, it’s more of an apparel store for motorcyclists who need the latest “fashions”.“We can order it though”

The problem with buying online is you cant actually look at the product and determine whether or not it fits what you need. Theres no replacement for actually walking into the store and putting your hand in a glove or your foot in a boot. The other benefit of in-person shopping is the staff. The guy I spoke with at my particular store understood what I wanted and was able to address different features and benefits of various products. In no way did he attempt to upsell me on anything.

Had a problem with my headset for my helmet. John jumped on it and took care of us in a flash and made everything as painless as possible. Wife and I couldnt be happier with the customer service we received! Will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you!

Needed a new battery for my bike that no other shop (including Yamaha dealerships) had on hand for under $150.00 and a special order.The staff was great with helping me get the right size over the phone, and they put it up front waiting for me.Under $100.00 dollars and I got it the same day with a 1 year warranty opposed to the 3 month warranties that other shops and dealers offer.

This store is always out of stock on items. The last 5 items I have needed, I I had to be order online. I check the stock online, but this store is always out of stuff, when other stores always have it in stock. 1 example is they should always have ramps in stock and when they get down to one ramp. A few more should be ordered. Example 2 Air Filters for sport bikes, Example 3 Arai Face shields. They always have to get stuff from the El Paso store. Get with the program store MANAGER!!!!!!

Great deals to keep me riding

While riding the BDR in Mexico the sole on my boot came loose from my boot, I rode to Cycle Gear in Albuquerque and bought a new pair of boots to complete my trip, they shipped my old boots to my house since I had no room to carry them! These guys are awesome with customer support.

Ive been shopping at CYCLE GEAR since December 2001. They have a great selection in store and if you need a specialty part or gear they can order it for you.

I will definitely come back here the guys were sweet answered all question tended to 3 customers before me I was getting a little annoyed but then when it was my turn the tlc they gave made me understand my wait. They added and changed out equipment on my helmet right then an there etc.

Fantastic place to get all your gear and parts. Great management and staff, everything is run very smooth here. Staff know what they are talking about and have great recommendations. Also wonderful prices and constant sales. On top of that they have an awesome meetup once a month that gives you an opportunity to meet other riders and get free food and potentially win raffle prizes! Love going here. Ryan and other staff are always helpful. Answer any questions I have. I needed a part for my Aprilia motorcycle windshield and Ryan came out to my bike and helped me make sure It was the right part. In past when I ordered a tire but the Cycle Gear warehouse sent the wrong size (tire was mislabeled and no fault of the staff here) the Cycle Gear staff they were quick to correct the error. I never have any issues when I need to return something because does not fit or its not the right part. I have refered all my friends here and they also have a positive experience. I want to thank Cycle Gear staff for all their help.
