Staff great and helpful. Can taste before one decides what to purchase

After learning a bit about why my organic, first, cold expellar pressed, grocery store olive oil was tasting stale, I came here. ABQ Olive Oil Company is certainly the place to go. Its a beautiful store, but more importantly, their stock is fresh, labeled with when it was made (essential info to know).Not only that, but the salesperson was so kind. She encouraged me to taste whatever interested me, made me comfortable to ask questions AND recommended trying the autumn roast oil on my popcorn. Cant wait to try that tonight. I promise to be back and Im now a strong supporter of you. Blessings!

A great shop! They allow you to sample the olive oils and balsamic vinegar before you decide on your purchases. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all the products. The different vats explain each oil and what they pair well with. Some even have recipes to take home. I love the suggestions of the staffs and it made me more comfortable when using our olive oil and balsamic vinegar when I came home.

I had heard of this store since they opened 3 years ago & finally went by last Saturday. The owners are very knowledgeable about their oils & balsamic vinegars & the many other items they stock. There is not another store like it. You are able to taste test & find your favorites. They also have a refill program with a discount. Well worth the stop.

After falling in love with the vinegars and oils at this store I started buying gift sets here for friends and relative birthdays. They are all giving me great recipe ideas. I made Ahi with hot chili oil on it-unbelievably good!! This store so much fun!! Youll have to visit many times to try them all.

In regards to Stefans review- Ive been visiting this business since they have opened their first store in Corrales, NM, years ago and I have never, ever, in my 3+ years of patronage encountered anything less than outstanding professionalism and well-mannered staff that completely and whole-heartedly understands the importance of customer service and their needs. This business is, by far, one of the best in Albuquerque! Please do not be dissuaded by one negative review; the owners of this store are -amazing- and truly, genuinely care about their customers as if they were their own family!

I have been shopping with this business for several years and have spent a lot of money on oil, vinegar, lotion, soap, etc. I have six of their bottles with various olive oils and vinegars in them at any given time. I will never go back and trade with this business. The staff--two women--are rude and blame everything on the owner, but the owner (Carol) is absent, unengaged, and unresponsive. A previous employee refilled a particular bottle for me numerous times and there was never an issue. I went in this week to refill the same bottle and was told no. If this business closes, I will not be surprised. Returning, consistent, and loyal customers should be valued. I have already found another olive oil, etc. supplier in Albuquerque (Old Town Olive) that will accommodate me and values my business. There is also Santa Fe Olive Oil & Balsamic Company that will ship to Albuquerque for free.

Shopped there first time today, friendly service, very helpful. I fell in love with the butter infused olive oil... best of both worlds, butter and olive oil... yummm

Great products. Consistently horrible and rude staff, so much so that we will never shop here again. There a much better shop in Nob Hill where the staff arent pretentious snobs.
